Solid scissors

Very nice, solid scissors. I looked for kitchen scissors without sharp tips for a long time. These are all stainless steel, which is an added bonus. So far I have not had an issue of the scissors falling apart in use( but you can take them apart for washing). I owned a pair of scissors which could be taken apart, and those fell apart in use many times. It was not safe, I threw them away.

Just what I wanted

They scissors are perfect for the kitchen. I keep them right in the knife block where the old scissors where kept before the handle cracked. These are solid and I love the way they come apart for cleaning.

Can’t be beat for the price.

Good quality stainless steel sheers. Notches in the right places for cracking. Blades are sharp and come apart for easy cleaning. No plastic handles to break. I didn’t have any problems with the shape or size of the handles and my hands getting pinched, but you could always wrap them in silicon tape if it was a problem. No need for me though. I prefer the stainless surface for easy cleaning. I can’t see grow they wouldn’t last, but I will update if any problems arise.

Best kitchen shears/scissors

I had a pair of these kitchen scissors a few years ago, and they are great. Then I lost/misplaced them in moving residences. I used a cheaper pair of scissors in the kitchen for a while, but they weren't as good and eventually broke from the heavy use of cutting up chickens, pizza, packaging, thin wire, etc. These excellent Livingo kitchen shears are heavy and come apart easily to go right in the dishwasher with every load. I had a bottle of tonic water that I couldn't open yesterday, and these came in handy opening the top as well.

Will they hold up?

At first they are perfect! Shiny & sharp. My husband & I took turns cutting up the envelope it was mailed in cuz it sliced through like butter. I’ll update this review if they rust or go dull, but for $15 right now totally worth it.

Great Overall Kitchen Shears

Given the price, I can't find any reason at all to complain about these shears. I just needed a new pair to replace the relatively bad pair that came with our older Henckels knife set. These are solid, heavy, come apart easily, but not easily in use. They are capable of cutting poultry. One review mentions the grips could be more comfortable, and I agree with that, but they are not uncomfortable, and do that job just fine in my opinion. A friend of ours that cooks a lot more than we do tried them and she was pleasantly surprised. We just needed some durable, easily to clean scissors for general kitchen tasks. These do the job well.

No complaints, they cut.

I saw mixed reviews for these, but have been pretty happy with them. They hang alright on my kitchen magnetic knife holder and have been sharp enough to do scissor things in the kitchen. I have not seen any rust or similar, but I have been hand washing them only.

I wrote a positive review when I received these and I wanted to follow up with another positive review. I've had name brand kitchen shears before but they were not even close to these. Get 'em.

Like Them

Actually, I should say my girlfriend likes them. I prefer a different pair for kitchen shears, but after the pair my parents got when they married in 1952 finally got to the point of unusable, I bought two pairs of kitchen shears. This is one of them. I have to admit, if I'm boning chickens, this is the favorite pair. If I'm cutting the plastic off of the theft proof packages, I prefer a different pair that have larger finger and thumb holes. With that said, my girlfriend has smaller hands than I do, and she prefers this pair. Glad I bought both. Now we're both happy.

Fabulous shears

My daughter told me to pick out what I wanted and she'd give it to me for Christmas. I chose these shears. What a joy!! They are sharp, VERY well made, easy to handle and do not come apart like other two piece shears. They do come apart if you want to put them in the dishwasher but not while you're using them to cut. Excellent shears. I highly recommend them.
