Strong magnets, great for fidgeting
I'm a counselor and my clients LOVE these (so does my 6-year-old son). They are strong and good for fidgeting. The order came quickly, and in a nice clean can.

Huge success with my 10 yr old
My son is at the age where he's almost too old for toys, but too young yet for a lot of technology type stuff. So finding him something for Christmas was hard, then I stumbled across this and bought it after reading a few reviews. It was a huge hit with him! He wants me to order him more so the he can create bigger things with them. These were even a huge hit with the adults at every family gathering we went to. Highly recommend these!

Fun magnetic balls!
We bought a set of these for my daughter for Christmas at her request. They're fun to play with. Than we added a huge magnetic world map to our wall and these were the perfect size for marking off the places we've traveled too. Take note they are super small so if you have little ones in the home you'll have to be careful.

Bigger than expected!
Not as tiny as expected. Daughter loves. Very strong connection - can literally make a necklace or bracelet with these and they will stay in tact on your neck or wrist.

Really good for the price.
I've recent had a lot experience with different brands of 5 mm magnetic balls, so far these a the best & most consistent for the price. For a lot of people it might not matter, but I've recently got into these kinds of magnets and quality control seems to be a big issue for may brands, but not these. As shown in my pictures you can build various complex or simple structures but the ability to do that can really be impacted by poor quality control. These kinds of magnets have 3 really important properties Uniformity, Magnetism, & Coating. Something like a Zen Magnets would score a 5/5/5 but they cost almost 3 times as much. for the price these are great I would score them 4/5 on Uniformity, 4.5/5 on Magnetism, & 4/5 on coating. I did manage to scratch the coating on a few balls, but that was my fault I used a metal card to try to separate the balls. Overall highly recommend.

Simple, fun, open-ended toy!
My sons LOVES these and has them in hand wherever he goes. He uses his imagination and problem solving skills to create all kinds of neat designs. I never would have thought such a simple toy would engage him so much, making him want to learn more about magnetics, and stretch his creativity. Now kids at school are getting them and it’s creating quite a trend.

Endless fun. Great packaging
I got these as a gift for my 7 year old (who loves magnets), and it’s a big hit for both her and me. It is a great toy for creative play...hours of fun and a million different combinations. I like that it comes in a container to keep them in, which makes it seem more “special” and less likely to lose them.

Read the Description!
So, yes, as the description says, 5mm is small. It's right there. They are about the size of BB's for a BB gun if that helps. We love playing with them, and have probably lost a few...but I've lost bigger things, so that is not indicative of their product but more my ability to keep track of things. Great stocking stuffer. I think we will buy another set just to have more!
