Changed Bedtime!!!
This product has had a huge impact on our family! That seems silly to write, but it’s so true. Due to a variety of circumstances, we never sleep-trained our daughter. It was ridiculous but I’m writing it off as a rookie mistake. Anyways, at 27 months (to be specific) we decided that we finally had to get her to fall asleep in her own bed by herself and stay in bed all night. Not an easy task. Enter this alarm clock. It was one of the best purchases we have ever made as parents. Our daughter casually learned that red means stop and green means go (something discussed at a stoplight one day) and we just extended that learning to this little clock. It’s really easy to set and I like that we have the option to turn the buzzer off so it doesn’t wake her up. The two different time options are nice for weekdays vs. weekends, and we have started to use the nap function more frequently now that we are home for the summer. I would have done anything to get our daughter to sleep in her own bed and am so very thankful for this clock!!

Kids love it. It works great! We bought 2!
I have a 4 year old and a 1 year old. My 4 year old falls asleep in her room, but in the middle of the night comes in to our room. Since we got Bingo (the name she gave her clock) it has helped her to stay in bed throughout the night. My one year old is still in his crib, so I am using Rolly (the name my daughter gave his clock) to train him early. He know that mommy or daddy will come on in the room in the morning to get him out of bed if the clock is green. (Of course if he is sick, or there is an emergency, we go in, but if not, we watch him on the camera and he will put himself back to sleep. Highly recommend making this little guy a part of your kids sleep training routine. You wont regret it!!!

Highly recommend!
This has been a LIFESAVER for us. Our girls were waking up most mornings at 5:00 AM, sometimes earlier, and once they are up, THEY ARE UP! We purchased this item because we didn’t want to spend a lot of money on one of the more expensive versions, only to find out it didn’t work for our children. SO glad we chose this one! It’s very cute and the kids love it. We use it with our 3 and 4 year olds and they quickly understood the concept. We,ve been able to ease them into sleeping longer in the morning, and on weekends when we set it for an even later time than weekdays, our girls will wake up before it turns green, but play quietly in their room until it changes! It’s amazing how something so simple can work such wonders. In terms of durability, we’ve had it for a few months with no problems. We plug it into the wall so I can’t speak to the battery life, etc. I really like that it has 2 alarm settings (alarm 1 and alarm 2 - not buzzers; although, you can set it to be used as an alarm clock with a buzzer if you want). We use alarm one for weekdays and alarm two for weekends. It’s a nice feature so you don’t have to constantly adjust the time. I don’t have anything negative to say about the product! Some people said the light glowing red was creepy or scary (I think)...we haven’t had an issue with that and there’s a control to brighten or dim the light. If you’re having trouble getting your little ones to stay asleep/in their rooms until you’re ready to get up, this is definitely a good option to try. It’s so affordable! So if it doesn’t work, it’s not as bad because you didn’t spend 50+ dollars to find out.

IT WORKS!
This has been so helpful for us and the sleep issues we were having with our 3.5 year old. Our main issue was our daughter waking up extremely early and coming into our bedroom and refusing go back to her room. She now stays in her room until puppies light turns green! We like the different settings and use two different settings for the weekdays and weekends so we can get some extra sleep. We also have her trained to use the toilet herself in the morning so she will do so and then go back to bed until the light turns green! It worked the first night we used it and has worked every day since! We also notice she has had less accidents in her pull ups since using this system! Highly recommend!

The Gods have bestowed upon us non deserving parents the most amazing item in the entire world.
The Gods have bestowed upon us non deserving parents the most amazing item in the entire world. My 3 year old was on his third week of not sleeping and waking up in the middle of the night to sneak into the pantry, eat marshmallows and chocolate, and then proceed to dance around the house like crazy loud banshee. During all these sleepless nights a very nice friend, who has now become my best friend just for suggesting this, told me to get a "ready to wake clock" I looked around and there's a lot of them out there. I liked this one because the dog is cute and my son relates to inanimate objects (hopefully that won't be problem later...). I also watched the video attached to the description and it explained the entire clock very nicely. I noticed this one had very clear instruction on how to set the clock and turn off alarms, etc. So I bought it and we waited. It arrived just in time.. It was extremely easy to set up. The directions are right on the back door so really it's great. It did bring a charger, but I am happy to report I've been using it with batteries for the last 2 weeks-to keep out of the reach of baby hands and it's going strong. Doesn't drain the batteries at all. You can set two alarms, one we have for weekdays and one for weekends. Then there's also a nap alarm. My son LOVES it. He knows that "red is for bed" and "Green is for awake" Every morning, after I've had the most blissful sleep of my life, I hear him saying from inside his room "The LIGHT IS GREEN! Time to WAKE UP!" He won't leave his room, until the light turns green. Since we got it he has SLEPT ALL NIGHT! Like what kind of WITCHCRAFT is this!??? How does this work???! I didn't even believe people when they told me it would work! But it does!!!! I cannot recommend this enough, specially if you are suffering from lack of sleep. Thank you for inventing this! Thank you for using your witchcraft powers for good. If I could 10 out of 10 I like it so much, I've considered making an altar for it.

What is this witchcraft?!!!
I was reluctant to buy this product for two reasons. 1. I read all the reviews about the product durability and the complaint that it does after a few weeks. 2. I refused to believe that my son, who has not slept through the night in his own bed for more than a total number of 5 days in his 5 years of life, would remotely care about a dog and a ball. I was wrong. I cannot believe that I finally have my bed back!!! The first night we used it, my son walked into my room at his usual time. I reminded him that the light was still red. He went back to bed. I haven’t had a problem since, which is freaking incredible!!! If you’re a frustrated parent reading this then you know exactly what I’m talking about. I had tried EVERYTHING and had just given up because I was so tired. I thought, hopefully he won’t be in my bed when he’s 13. My kids, now 5 and 2, think of the light as some type of game. Every morning they come running into the room shouting “The light’s green Mommy!” I have even heard them pacing back and forth in the hallway waiting for the light to turn green so they could run in my room. Every night they remind me to turn on the dog. Crazy right! I find the dog to be a little creepy when the ball is red. Makes me think of Chuckie from Child’s Play. Fortunately, my children aren’t bothered by it. Which is shocking because my son is afraid of the smoke detector...seriously. I’ve had this alarm clock for several weeks now. I started using it with batteries and then plugged it in using the AC adapter. I have had no trouble with it. It doesn’t lose time, hasn’t broken, glows just as brightly as the first time. The only thing is that for people who don’t like to deal with setting clocks, there are a LOT of buttons that give you options. Once you get it set though, you just push one button every night and then you’re good. I’ve used the nap timer as well but found that I don’t really need it because the 5 year old has outgrown his nap and the 2 year old will sleep until someone wakes her. If you’re hesitant to buy this because you question whether it works, it’s not that expensive. Just do it. If it does work for you (and i’m pretty sure it will) you’ll bang your head against the wall for not trying it sooner. I’m honestly is awe of this thing! Such a simple solution for a 5 year problem.

Better than other similar clocks and it worked
I'm writing this review at the risk of jinxing myself (other sleep deprived parents will know what I mean) but this clock does seem to be strangely effective. My son was a great sleeper but then a nightmare ruined it all and resulted in a habit of waking up every night, even after the fear was gone. Nothing was working to break the habit. We had another okay-to-wake clock from my older son, but it was ineffective with my younger son bc there was no indicator to *stay* in bed, just the light to get up and that only stayed on for 30 min. I like this clock in particular for the following reasons: red light to stay in bed, can adjust the brightness of the light, and the green light stays on for up to two hours. The two hours is great bc even if they sleep in, they are still likely to wake during that window of time and catch the green light - which is the happy Go! signal. The only change I would make would be to have the clock setting buttons less accessible to little hands, but it's a fine line between inaccessible and convenient for adults - and there's always duck tape I guess lol. Overall, great product.

Definitely worth a shot! Worked for us!
Lots of buttons, so takes a bit of reading to get the hang of it, but works like a charm. It's a little bit of a pain that you have to turn the alarm on every single night, but you get in the habit pretty quick. We only use the light, no noise so can't speak to that yet. Our 3yo & 5yo were getting up earlier every day it seemed, so got this with a very real sense of skepticism...and was super pleasantly surprised when it work perfectly from day one for keeping them in bed until an acceptable time. We have to be consistent with it (grandma stayed over when we were out of town and they started ignoring it cuz she was fine with it haha) but as long as the rule is "wait for the green light", they roll over and go back to sleep when they see the red.

Cute clock/nightlight!
We love this! When we turn on the red light at night my daughter (almost 2) knows it’s time to get in bed. We read a final book in bed and say goodnight. She stays in bed all night and waits for the light to turn green at 7:00 am. She even waits for us to come in to get her and then pops out of bed and runs over to turn off the green light, which is something she taught us you could do by pushing the button on the dogs foot (you can only turn off the green light from the front not the red light in case you have kids that like to push boundaries 😊). I do wish it would store your last setting for the nap timer, but it’s not that much of a pain to reset it each time. Also, there is a dimmer button so you can control how bright the light glows. We keep it on the lowest setting and it seems perfect.

Better than OK to Wake!
I had been wanting to try the OK to Wake clock for a long time with my kids because I loved the idea of them staying in their room a bit longer in the mornings... but was hesitant because they destroy everything in sight. I was sure I would never be able to train my kids to stay in their room with something like that when I visited a friend that had an OK to Wake clock, and saw that it had to be plugged in. UMMM, WHAT? THAT WOULD NEVER WORK with my crazy twin toddlers. It would be unplugged (and probably re-plugged, with a blaring alarm somehow masterfully programmed for the butt crack of dawn) in a matter of seconds. Even their sound monitor has to be plugged in inside their locked closet. To have to plug something like this in is just freaking illogical. Do people really have kids that don't play with everything they're not supposed to when left unattended? Is that real life? You guys. I repeat. THIS WOULD NEVER WORK. Then enter this amazing gadget. IT RUNS ON BATTERY POWER! YAAASSSSSS. That means I can set it high up on the curtain rod in my twins' room and they have no way of reaching it. A high shelf would've worked too. Seems like a no-brainer. It's SO easy (and fun!!!) to use. And it's adorable. My kids lovingly call it their "puppy ball light" or their "red stop light." Plus they were letting me sleep in later on Day ONE, sooo, yeah. 100% worth the money. Some tips that have probably been mentioned in other reviews-- I started with the alarm about the time my kids had already been coming out of their room. Then gradually made it later and later. This has bought me an extra hour. Awesome. We also have them say "If puppy's ball is red, I stay in my bed" and they think that's super cute. But we also make sure they know they're allowed to get up and go potty no matter what color the light is with a series of riddles, like "can you get out of your bed if the light is green? What about red? Can you go potty if the light is green? What if it's red?" Etc. They think that's fun too. Anyway, totally worth the purchase and I DEFINITELY recommend, especially if you have twinsanity constantly occurring in your house like I do, or just if you have any number of basically psychopath toddlers that destroy everything in their wake. Haha. Wake. See what I did there?
