I put this on my Yard-Man snowblower, model 31AS2N1C701, because the old carb was leaking gas. This new carb works like a charm. For my model of snowblower, there are 3 gaskets. This carb kit has 3 gaskets. However, I could only use two that came with the new carb. I had to reuse the gasket between the choke plate and the carb. The new gaskets that sealed against the engine and against the housing around the carb worked fine. Since you have it apart, you might as well use the new primer bulb and line that come in the kit. Those worked fine as well. Overall, I give this a thumbs up.

I crossed the original factory carb. part number and this is what came up. It is not the correct carb. for the application but since I crossed it and didn't look closely at the picture I don't hold the seller responsible. They have a clear picture on the web, I just didn't compare it to the original carb until I received the new one. I was a little concerned to the quality of the carb because it was so much cheaper then the factory one but the quality is good. I am keeping it; I'm sure I will us it or parts on something else. Just be sure to compare your original to the picture before you order one.

This carb was an exact match for my Craftsman 247.886910 snow blower. I needed to rebuild the carb but found this carb at a low enough price that I decided to save my time and replace the whole thing. Everything fit perfect and the quality is just as good as the factory carb in anyway that I can tell. The only thing that was of less quality was the gaskets (they were fine, just thinner) I reused the OEM ones with no issue. The snow blower runs like new again and I am very happy.

OK...I am not a mechanically inclined, but my craftsman snow blower is leaking oil and my garage smelled like gas. I decided to investigate and searching help online...instead of hiring someone for like 200 dollars. Found some step by step guide on youtube, and also found some information of replacement parts online...which lead me to ordering this carb assembly. With the help of you tube, i successfully replaced the carb assembly. Poured some gasoline, and started the blower right off the bet...and no leak !!! Great product and thanks.....and yeah, kinda proud of myself. Instead of spending 200 dollars or more, ended up spending less than 20 dollars, and more importantly, I learned ! hahaha

Craftsman snowblower starting running like garbage (surging, hard to start) so I figured it was time to clean the carb. Out of curiosity, I searched to see how much a replacement would be. I came across this product and figured for just a little more than a can of carb spray, I might as well try it out. It works great! Saved me the time of disassembling the old carb and cleaning it for only a few bucks more. Worth every penny! One thing of note. The primer bulb doesn’t work the greatest. It seems to get really stiff once the temp drops below 0. It might loosen up a bit over time, but if it doesn’t I’ll probably put the old one back on. I didn’t deduct a star for this due to the bulb basically being an added bonus.

I ordered this in the spring and just installed it in my craftsman snowblower to get ready for the winter. At the end of the season the machine was surging quite a bit and I had to run it partially choked. My snowblower is Craftsman 247.88955. Engine model is ZS365-SUA and the carb assembly is model in the manual shows 751-10974. Replacement took about 45 minutes, mostly to remove the engine covers. It fired up on the second pull and ran smoothly after installation.

Installing this on a 24" 179cc Craftsman snow blower model 247.88957 took a little time because of guard removal and my own timidity around prying the plastic choke button and throttle handle, but with some force, I got it on. No more revving up and down that the old, dirty carb produced, even after Sea Foam and ethanol free gas. At this price, it wasn't worth trying to clean the old one. The manufacturer, Hooai, is the same as my original. The design only varies slightly, which I hope are improvements in flow. Lesson learned: buy ethanol free gas.

For MTD and Troy Bilt 2410 snow blower. 179cc engine. 2010-2017. Very common problem with this Chinese engine. Even with gas treatments and emptying gas tank they fail often. Trouble starting, smoke, etc. Watch YouTube video for MTD snowblower carburetor replacement. First time 3 hours because it took 2 hours to get rusted throttle and choke knobs off.

951-10974. I bought this kit for my craftsman 179cc 4 cycle snow blower model #31am2n1c799. Arrived in two days. It was the exact same carb/manufacturer as the oem carb. Very easy job to install The primer bulb stem was a tad shorter than my oem primer bulb stem but it worked just fine. no carb adjustments necessary. Started after second pull and blower purrs like a cat. This carb is much less $ than the Sears oem replacement, and it turns out, this carb is the exact same as the oem. Solid purchase for your money. (I thought about rebuilding my original carb, but this was way easier and more budget friendly)

I bought a new snow blower several ago, and made the mistake to not try it out right away. When the snow finally fell and I tried to start the brand new machine it simply wouldn't. By then my warranty had expired and I was stuck with a not functional snow blower. I waited until it was warm again, and tried to figure out what was wrong, but couldn't find any explanation myself. Then a friend of ours who repairs a lot of yard equipment told us that it is a snow blower sickness that the carburetor gets plugged with dirt. Taking the new snow blower to a shop would have been $75, and the manufacturers part was even more than that in addition. Out of desperation I bought this carburetor in the hopes that it would save me some money, and boy did it ever! I had no problem taking the old carburetor out myself and putting this one in, it fit right away. The best part is that I now have a fully functioning snow blower!!
