Affordable, sturdy desk riser!

Great addition to the home office. Build quality is study, and it's relatively easy to adjust the desk's height. There's a hole for a grommet/c-clamp if needed (I'm using a freestand monitor mount). Comes with all tools/screws for assembly, and it's pretty easy to screw on the keyboard tray. Be careful if you're not used to lifting heavy weights - this thing weighs a good amount (56lbs!) so grab a partner to help set up if needed. There's rubber feet on the bottom to prevent sliding on a desk, and wobble is minimal if you're just doing regular typing. Doesn't hurt that the price is much lower than most of the other competing desk risers. For reference, the tablets on my desk are 8in/10 in respectively and the monitors are 24 in. Desk is from IKEA.

Why didn't I get one of these years ago?

Wow, first impressions: I'm amazed at how awesome this is! Partly I'm just impressed by finally having a standing desk -- I've fantasized about getting one for so many years, and I always considered them outside of my budget. But I didn't know about this kind that could go on top of my desk! It's so much more affordable, and allows me to make use of my existing L-shaped desk and office space perfectly. I'm also really impressed with this particular one -- I'm glad I shopped around and settled on this one. The size is exactly right for my setup. But I'm really surprised by how sturdy it is, and how smoothly and easily it moves up and down. I just expected something less sturdy and smooth for the price, but it feels really professional / industrial quality. It easily goes to a little higher than I'd need, has a perfect height for me for standing (I'm 5'10"), and has the keyboard platform at a perfect distance below the main platform. At its lowest setting, they keyboard is basically right where it used to be on the actual desk, but the extra few inches for my monitor and speakers are great. I think I'll mostly stand now, but I love that my sitting setup is now also better than it used to be. Oh, and the keyboard platform is much bigger than a lot of ones I looked at before settling on this one. This is actually perfect for me, with my somewhat-large ergonomic keyboard, to have enough space for using the mouse still. So many that I looked at would have had basically no room for the mouse. Of course, I'll still be worried that something might stop working so smoothly or break at some point. But for now I'm super impressed and delighted with my purchase.

Love this stand up desk!

I had a very small space from front to back to work with and I looked at many stand up desks, but finally decided on this one and I'm so happy that I did! It holds both of my monitors with no problem and it is easy to lift and put down, but it does not fall down and holds my monitors just fine. It looks very nice and appears to be very well made.

very impressive!

Shipping was fast and free, and the box was big and heavy. Assembly was a breath and I set it up in less than 2 minutes! This desk felt and was well-made and you can see and touch the quality and sturdiness. The adjustment was super easy, just simply pulling the levers on the both side and it will raise automatically. It also came with screwdriver and extra bolts, you might want to make sure to save them in case of replacement in the future.

More Affordable, Comfortable, User Friendly, and Simple Installation.

I shopped for an adjustable sit-to-stand desk for several weeks, trying to find the best deal and option for my work desk area. I had several in my cart at one point, but ultimately chose this one by TaoTronics. Compared to like items, the price was much more affordable, and I really liked the 'steel' coloring and deep keyboard tray. I've only had this item for a few days, but have nothing but positive things to say so far. The keyboard tray is deep and wide, making it comfortable and an easy adjustment for your wrists. The entire item is extremely sturdy - I lean on the keyboard tray often without the worry that it is going to unbalance the desk, even while standing. Raising the desk is easy and quiet, though you will hear it 'pop' in place. You have to use a little more force to lower, but all in all it is very user friendly. Installation was as simple as it gets. It came in a single box, two pieces (desk and keyboard tray) weighing about 56 pounds. I had someone help me place it where I wanted, and then attached the tray myself (they handily provided screws and small screw driver.) Set up took me 10 minutes tops. Right now, I would absolutely recommend this item and give it five stars!

AMAZING!

This adjustable standing desk is amazing!! I absolutely love it!! It is extremely heavy, so you will need some manpower to take it out of the box. But, once it's placed on the desk, it's extremely easy to push around and install the keyboard. I am absolutely so happy with this purchase. I have lower back pain and some knee pain, so I am hoping this will help. I will try to update my review after a few weeks to let you all know whether this desk has decreased my lower back pain. Also, the standing desk feels great and durable! One thing to note is that there was that gooey stuff around metal (not sure what its called), so just be careful if you put your fingers on it. I dirtied my outfit. Other than that, it's great and I completely recommend this product!

Nice standing desk

First let me say this this is a very large desk that takes up a lot of room so make sure you have the space for it. That being said it is very well made and I love it. It's easy to raise and lower with little to no effort and has plenty of space for all my stuff. I have a keyboard, mouse and tracking pad on the lower lever with space to spare. The top lever being even bigger is way more room than I need for my Apple computer but holds all the other desk stuff. It's nice having the option of sitting or standing and I am very satisfied with it and would highly recommend it.

This is a great standing desk!

Sometimes I need to work from home, but I have a lower back pain. Standing while working is a good option in office but may be expensive for a home office. This standing desk is well suitable for my budget, and, best of all, works perfect well for my needs. The height is adjustable for multiple levels, and the lowest level also works well when I sit down. The standing desk is relatively large compared to my own desk, but really works as an extension to my desk. The installation is very simple and the screw driver is included in the package. I upload the detailed pictures to save a million words to express my satisfaction on the product. 5 stars!
