I'm a lady with short hair and got sick of being upcharged at the salon for what the guy next to me was getting done just because it's a "women's cut" so I bought these clippers. I was pretty nervous, having never clipped my own hair, but with a mirror I went slow (especially with my non-dominant hand) and there I was with the same haircut I was paying beaucoup bucks for. The guards themselves take the mystery out of the sizes because of the mm and inch measurements put on both sides. It's really good to know that this product has parts to order, because I think I'm a convert. It really is quiet, too, which was what I was ready to be startled by when I turned it on.

Cuts great! Didn't know what to expect as far as loudness. The description says whisper quiet. It is in fact very quiet. Would have preferred if the various Combs were color coordinated because that would make each number easier to pick out from the bunch but that's a minor point.

Best clippers I’ve purchased. I shave my head once a week on the lowest setting and the cut is very smooth with no nicks. The clippers are super quiet and smooth, the handle contoured ergonomically. Easy to clean and store, just remember to oil every couple uses. Also works well clipping my beard with the attachments. Very nice product.

Nice trimmer, bought so I wouldnt have to spend money on a haircut anymore. Used it the first time with trimmer 5 and was pleasantly surprised how nice everything turned out. Went to use it the second time and had the little lever on the front of it in the wrong position, buzzed my head and said hmmm looks like I needed a haircut because of the amount of hair that fell on the floor,,,buzzed again then looked in the mirror and I said what the ----. It buzzed my head almost bald,,,so needless to say I had to finish it and just buzzed my head completely,,,ahhhh it grows back lol

Clippers work great. I’ve had cheaper brands in the past and I can see the difference in quality with Wahl. Best feature, the 1/2 guide. Nice to have something that goes shorter than the 1 without going to bare blades.

I bought this to trim my beard. I got tired of cordless trimmers over the years that eventually the battery doesn’t hold a charge or the power just gets weak. Love the size and feel of this trimmer and I highly recommend it!

My husband has gone through more than 5 clippers in 15 years. His favorite were Norelco from early 2000s but they finally died and he has tried many different brands and models. They either were not strong enough to cut into his thick beard or they died after a few short months. These Wahl clippers are strong, quiet and glide across all his hair effortlessly. I have started cutting his hair for him, as these are so easy to maneuver. These are his new favorites.

Works as well as I'd hoped. Although, I should point out that I only use maybe three of the attachments at any given clipping. I will say there was a curious bit in the instructions (for how to perform a haircut), but I never planned on using those anyways, so that doesn't really detract from the overall product. Hopefully everyone else can figure out where they want the longest hair and the shortest hair to be.

I've always purchased the cheaper Wahl clippers, but decided to splurge on this set. It's definitely worth the extra cost. For two reason, (1) The lever doesn't jump out of place and (2) it's much quieter. Get what you pay for.

OK my barber of many years retired, started cutting my own hair, used a cheap basic cutter now I have gotten good at it and more daring. Upgraded to this cutting system, great system with a world of difference, received a lot of compliments on my fade, highly recommend.
