I've been an educator for thirty-three years and this tool has changed my work life! I know that sounds melodramatic but seriously... I daily staple multiple packets of student work and other documents that have 30+ pages and have been fighting with a variety of staplers for all of my career. After a particularly frustrating day of stapling test booklets together, I looked on Amazon, found this stapler and thought I'd give it a shot. Since purchasing this stapler a couple of weeks ago no more jams, no more having to lug a "heavy duty" or "large capacity" stapler around - and most importantly - no more wasted time and frustration of failed stapling attempts with the attendant tearing and multiple stapler holes. It is small enough to be easily portable, doesn't need to be plugged in, uses standard size staples (I use the Bostitch brand), is substantial, really well engineered and built. A+!

Love love love this stapler. It’s compact but really staples well, and lots of paper for its size. Great grip. Sounds silly to rave about a stapler but if you use one like I do, you would really appreciate, the size, compact, comfortable hold and effort to use, I bought several more to put throughout my office. It’s really a hit,

We've gone through many cheap, lightweight plastic staplers over the past few decades filled with jams that usually ended with them being tossed out. So, when we lost the last one in our move, we decided to give this one a try and it's perfect. It's sturdy with some heft, so that it feels secure in your hands and sure in every move. The compact size fits well in our hands and is easy to store. The flat stapling also saves space in files, which is always a plus. Best of all, not a single jam yet! A definite win in our book!

I love this stapler! It staples so easily and no extra pressure needed and it’s size is perfect in the hand. Work for a non-profit law firm and we have tons of things that are over the traditional 12-20 page limits of a traditional stapler. Love the flat staples in the back that make it so much easier to remove and lays flat.

I bought this stapler because I can't always count on having one at work when and where I need it. I wanted something smallish that would fit in my backpack, but I also wanted something that could staple together ~25 papers without struggling. This one fits the bill nicely! It's very easy to operate, even one-handed. It actually out-performs the regular-sized stapler in my office! I also like that it can be stood on end instead of having to lie flat (it can do either ;) ), since that makes it easier to grab and use when I need it. It's definitely larger than those mini staplers that I used to carry when I was a student, but it's shorter than a typical office stapler. It easily pierces the stack of papers, and then neatly folds the prongs of the staple so that they aren't very prone to catching on things. I'm still frequently surprised by how little effort it takes to staple using this tool! Definitely recommend.

Purchased different style of Bostitch hand held stapler and advice is don't waste your time and money. Type purchased similar to Swingline model. Bought the 40 Sheet stapler. No comparison, this is way better and wish it was my first choice. FYI;, liked it so much, bought another.

I love this stapler. It staples up to 40 pages: it can be placed flat on the desk or upright. It fits into the palm of your hand. I ordered also the Bostitch staples with it. Amazingly, it is the first stapler I have ever owned that staples until the very last staple. My past experience with other staplers is that once the staples are down to a dozen or so, they start getting stuck in the mechanism, and it is very annoying. But the little stapler with an attitude just laugh it off. Buy it! Believe it or not, I bought it to use at the office because what the non-profit organization where I work has to offer goes with their budget, and I understand that. So I bought my own.

Perfect size ..... not a big 'desk' stapler ...... hols a half stick of 'ammo' ....... yes, 40 sheets of typical copy paper with ease ......

Really liking this stapler so far. Has a good, sharp action, and the fold-flat stapling does help keep stacked papers neat. The feed spring isn't the strongest, but I haven't had any issues with staples feeding properly forward. It staples better than some full-size staplers I've used.

I didn't know a different way of stapling existed, but I'm very glad to have found this "flat" stapling design. This one is at our main printer station for communal use, and the way it squares the staple at the back (instead of curving it like others), truly makes the paper stack flatter. I'm considering one for my desk just for this feature. However, somewhere around the 25-page point, the staple edges at the back tend to stick out slightly, making them a bit sharp (see image). I'm not sure this could accommodate the 40 pages promised in the listing, but that's a limitation of the staples more than the stapler.
