Don't waste your money on wireless headsets. They're heavy and the batteries don't last long. I recommend these when they're on sale. Best headsets you can get for $50 with the digital 7.1 usb dongle. As far as sound goes, it is balanced and clear unless you change the eq settings in the Corsair iCUE software. These are also better than most console headsets and I would recommend them over most headsets released for gaming consoles.

This is a great headset. The sound is clear and the microphone works well and blocks out all of the outside noise. It is very comfortable to wear, even with glasses. I'm probably most impressed by Corsair's customer service though. After only two months and zero use after my initial set-up testing, the microphone just didn't work. I found the number for customer service online and called to see if they could help me troubleshoot. The automated answering system only asked me one question to direct me to the correct place and I was only on hold for about 15 seconds before a tech support person was on the line. When I explained the issue and told him I was running Windows 10, he immediately knew what the problem was and walked me through the steps to fix it. As it turned out, Windows had a recent update that automatically changed the privacy settings to disable access to the microphone from all of the installed apps. All I had to do was enable access and now my microphone is working again. I will definitely use Corsair products as much as possible and I recommend them to everyone.

Bought a lot of gaming headset, this is by far the best i ever bought!! other headset... sign it is either the grip is too tight or too loose, or the ear cushion is too hot due to absorb lot of head easily, or the audio not good, or the headband is too tight, or the cushion is hurting my ear... this headset doesnt have any or that! it's comfortable, head resistant cushion, amazing audio, cool appearance, it's perfect!

The material on the headset if very good! the sound quality is alos just as good i can hear my game clearly and also barely hear anyone thats talking to me unless i lower the volume all the way down. Got these on sale but i wouldnt have minded spending more if i had too. The quality of the cord is also amazing its tough and doesnt seem like it'll break easily like most other headset cords. It comes with a usb adapter if youve broken your headphone jack pulg-in. Feel free to ask more in depth questions of me as i've only had this for only a month as of this review.

1)First off let me say these headphones sound awesome better sound quality than my razer krakens but the microphone sucks i know this from playing with a friend using the exact headphones but i purchased a blue snow ball when i bought the headphones. 2)Now to address all of the negative reviews about the headphones breaking for no reason are all over exaggerated they have to be rage quitting or literally plopping down on top of them to break them. I have yanked these things off of my desk to be flinged to the floor or hang by the cord and not once did it do anything to damage them and i blame this on the cord length 3)i wish the cord was longer but ill just buy a extension because when i go to get up i set my headphones on my desk and somehow the cord hangs off in my seat and i dont see it when i go to sit down and it sends my headphones flying every time im actually writing this review because 5 mins ago my headphones got flung off and picked them up to see they were fine and put a smile on my face thinking about all the hate these headphones got so i wanted to write this review 4) my ears arnt huge but there above normal size and i could wear these for hours back to durability and comfort i have fallen asleep with these on having the headphones only on one ear there just that good and there slim they feel awesome and i have woken up to find them on the floor, no im not trying to abuse them im just so confident they wont break and the sound quality and comfort keeps these on my head whenever im at the house.

Great solid design before this headset I wore turtle beaches which would tend to break on the plastic clamp adjusters causing the earmuff to hang. Though this is a common thing that happens in headsets he design and feel of this headset is great. Has a metal feel to it and the mic quality is great compared to other headsets. I bought this headset for my sister since I got a pair for myself before. Through the year or 2 I’ve had his headset I’ve gone through 2 of them due to me being reckless with dropping them. The 2 headsets breaking both the same way as the turtle beaches near the adjustment clamps. But I had no reason to worry since I bought warranty with it. I suggest with any headset people buy that you get an extended warranty with t since you never know what happens whether it be cracks, mic popping or even a loud noise that just blows out the headset. I’ve tried many headset from Logitech to turtle beach, and from all the headsets I gotta say i love this one the most. Another reason I bought this headset was due to the straight 3.5 mm jack that it had, since I wanted to continue using my single from my old turtle beach. So this headset is perfect for external dongles.

I work in a NOISY office and spend 8 hrs a day on the phones this headset is very comfortable, and the noise cancelling works well enough customers can hear me. I've tried to kill them once due to the wire they hit the ground hard but held up. The padded part that sits on the top of the head is comfy. The mic is constructed in a way to allow it to be positioned and retain that position anywhere you desire. The only two drawbacks are the wire and that they get warm like earmuffs after 15 minutes. I will tolerate both easily to not have ear discomfort while still being able to hear and talk comfortably to customers. I very much recommend this product.

I used this device for PC gaming mostly and listening to music, I can adjust and make custom EQs to my taste and turn on/off virtual surround sound as needed. The Virtual surround sound definitely sounds different, but I cant quite describe how different it is, its not better or worse than the stereo setting, just different. Keep in mind the surround sound is only while on PC where you can install the companion software to turn it on or off. PS4 you are out of luck. Works fine on PS4 when plugged into the controller. Lastly the ear phones are very large and rather comfy, perfect for extended wear. It also completely cover my ears with no issues. All in all if you want decent sound and mic on a budget, these are your best go to.

I purchased these solely for streaming movies and TV shows when my wife is using the TV. The sound is pretty immersive. I've caught myself looking down to see what fell (movie noise) and over my shoulder. The fact that it doesn't need a sound card is a big plus because recently the audio chipset in my computer has been having issues, so now I have no need to buy a sound card. Noise cancellation is what you'd expect from an over the ear headphone. It's not meant to do more than that. Another plus is that you can remove the microphone. Unless you're gaming or Skyping, who wants a microphone in their face to stream shows or listen to music?

What more could you want for $50. I got two of these, one for my wife, and one for me. They sound better than my wife's old Ministry of Sound headset that cost $100 from a retail store (picked them up 14 years ago). Mic sound's good. My only gripe is that the ear pads' fake leather is pretty thin and I'm worried that it wont last 14+ years like my old headset. LOL! But even if it only lasts a year I would gladly give Corsair and Amazon another 50 bucks for this awesome headset. They don't squeak and creek when you take them off of your head! Amazing!
