Pictured L-R = 1-4 I was prescribed compression socks 30-40 mmHg after my varicose vain surgery in 2004. I was given the first 2 sets for free and the brand was Jobs, found out they were expensive. I did some research and discovered Ames Walker (Picture #1) were cheaper but the same same styles as the jobs. Both socks covered my feet all the way to the arch in which create discomfort due to tightness, I stretch the elastic on the arch area to the point of almost breaking them to relieve some pain. Then couple weeks ago I stumbled on Adson compression sleeve Picture #3, I ordered them Immediately and tried them, they were rated 20-30 but they felt like 30-40 and no discomfort. Did more search and found Doc Miller but instead of ordering them right away I went back to Ames Walker and search for the same sleeve. I ordered one to try (Picture #2) to try. As you can see Ames were little bit shorter and the material was thinner. I decided to order Doc Miller for comparison (picture #4) and it was identical to Adson. Here is my decision Ames Walker gone could buy 2 sets of Adson for the price of one Ames Walker. Doc Miller has slight advantage due to color If I don't wear them 24/7 probably go with Adson for the price.

Great product, I had leg vein problems and swelling issues, tried many expensive and different compression socks, for me these work great, feel naked with out them on, put them on first thing in the morning and take them off when I go to bed, not supposed to wear them when laying down, very good compression, Great price bought two more pair.

The first compression sleeve that I tried was a different brand. They didn't work for me because the ankle portion fit was loose while the calf portion was acceptable. My calf fits the usual Medium size measurement, but my ankles are skinny and fit the Small size measurement. The Doc Miller taper design is perfect for my lower leg profile, there is compression from the top to the bottom of the sleeve. The typical sleeve measurement table takes only the calf circumference measurement into account and not the ankle circumference. You need to consider this as you shop the various choices, but if you are buying for the first time this will be a challenge to get the right fit. As for results, the Doc Miller is doing the job for which I purchased them. I am a teacher on my feet all day and also starting to have circulation issues in my legs. My feet and legs aren't as tired at the end of the day anymore. (Note: I am a fit and slim individual but I am 62 years old. Shrug) And the minor lower leg swelling issues I was starting to experience during a 3 hour car drive, for example, have been circumvented by wearing the sleeves. I am going to start having regular leg massages to help increase blood flow in my legs. This combined with using the Doc Miller compression sleeves should be a highly effective preventative strategy for future circulation issues. **Update Dec 2016-super pleased with the compression sleeve so I ordered another pair. I used them for everyday wear now. My legs are not as tired when I go out and bird hunt for 3 - 4 hours walking, or climbing depending on the bird species I am after. I've now used them for the first time skiing. After 4 hours of hard skiing my legs aren't spent like they used to be. I'll be buying more as time goes on and the original purchase starts to show wear. I super recommend them!

I ordered these compression sleeves to help with my ankles swelling and my varicose veins. And I ordered them based mainly on the reviews. I like the fact they are not sized according to your shoe size, but your ankle and calf, which does make a difference. I wear them everyday & they really help. They are a little hard to get on, but after trying different methods I put them on like I do stockings. They are what I expected them to be and to do. Highly recommend them!

Swift, quality packing/delivery. Superior product--looks good too! This sleeve has a definite compression quality. I use the nude color with shorts--I appear "athletic," but I really use it to conceal a skin rash. The nice thing is that the color is so natural that I really look as though I have on nothing. But for athletic support, it definitely has compression. I can wear it for a long day on my feet under a skirt or dress, and it just looks like I have on leggings (or really nothing) and I have the comfort as well. EXCELLENT! THANKS & BRAVO!

These calf sleeves are perfect for my large calves! They wash beautifully and provide excellent compression without being too tight around my large knees.

I injured my calf muscle on a run. These Doc Miller compression sleeves are a saving grace. Perfect amount of comppression to help with pain and aid in healing. I have been wearing one on my injured leg daily for 2 weeks. Without the sleeve I can definitely feel the difference. Strongly recmmend

I wear men's 8, 8 1/2 or 9 shoes (depending), and the medium size of these socks are nice and snug, but quite comfortable. My dermatologist recommended this type of sock; I'll tell you in a few months if it helped alleviate the condition he diagnosed...

Got them yesterday, if I could I would give them ten stars. I have a DVT of my right leg and have been strongly advised by my vascular Dr. that I must wear a compression sock every day. Over the last year I have purchased at least 15 different socks and I returned most, most of them were to tigh and difficult to get on and off. Hands down these are the best, I am ordering five more and hope they hold up under my daily use.

Received them today and I’ve been wearing them all day. They are the perfect fit, I love how the cut was good where it’s smaller in the bottom and bigger at the top. It’s good quality. The color is a bit off, I bought the nude and it is obvious that I’m wearing them while I walk in public, but they fit the purpose for casual everyday wear. I also got an email from the company showing me good customer care. I’m so glad I have two pairs of this.
