Better than the rest

I bought this as a gift, and it is better built than similar Mavic Air cases. The compartments are well organized, and I'm pretty sure it's as waterproof as the two other Mavic Air cases I returned. Also, the plastic on this is clean. The one case I got before this had release marks from probably when it was removed from the plastic mold, so little details like that make Smartree's Mavic Air cases superior in both quality and price.

Right Choice to protectyour Mavic Air

I searched out a hard shell case for my Mavic Air that would hold everything, including the prop guards. There are only a few and very high priced. This case is perfect. Solid case, appears to be water proof, if you want a case to protect and carry your investment around this is the prefect case. I did take a dremel and slightly enlarge the drone pocket. I have a Wrapguard skin and it was rubbing the front lip loose. If you attatch one battery to the drone it will open up an extra small pocket. If you leave the charger out it will open a l larger pocket for more storage.

So glad I didn't second guess this case! Such a great purchase!

Buy this case if you are wanting an awesome/convenient/protective/secure way to store and travel with your mavic air! Don't waste your time reading any other reviews. I was not sure which case too buy, but I absolutely love this one! Has plenty of space for all of the gear and accessories that come with the Mavic Air, and is extremely protective. Pros: - Organize the hell out of your gear. - Has room for literally everything, and then some. - Hard shell, secure interior. - Lockable - Surprisingly versatile when it comes to fitting into tight spaces when traveling. I hide it under my seats in my truck to keep people from peeking in and wanting to take it. Cons: - NONE Recommendation: - I would recommend trimming the foam just a tiny bit (im talking a tiny tiny bit), around where the gimbal and front propellers are. I did this only so I wouldn't accidentally rip the blades off pulling out the drone, when I get excited to show someone this awesome setup. Great product, would buy again if I had another drone for sure!

Awesome design.

This case is perfect for me. It fits everything I want to have with me when I fly...iPad, sunshade, spare props, tablet holder, lanyard, charger, signal boosters, GetterBack (for flying over water), and all the cables. I have one negative which does not really matter to me, the cutout foam is not attached to the bottom foam, so it moves around a little and/or can be pulled out completely. Not a deal breaker because of how well it contains everything else and I have considered gluing it down myself. It will fit the prop guards, but I do not use them so if you want to get the prop guards in the case, you will have to figure out what other items you can get to fit with them. By far, the best case for a DJI drone that I have come across for all the extra space available to get what you want in it. The quality of the case is acceptable for what I want in a case, it is not as robust as a pelican or nanuk, but it also does not have that price tag. I think other case manufacturers should learn from this design with more storage area to be able to keep everything together in one case.

Not sure what else you could ask for

I was looking for an all-in-one solution to pack ALL of my Mavic Air stuff. This one was recommended and given it's relatively low price, I jumped on it. There are cases that cost multiples of this one, but not sure what you are getting. In addition to the standard stuff - batteries, the drone itself, controller, charger, there is plenty of room in the "general" bin for props, cables, ND filters, cleaning rags for screens and filters. There is also room and enough "give" in the foam on the lid that I can also store my iPad Mini4 in a sleeve as well as a fold-able sun shade for the iPad.

Nice hard case for Mavic Air

Awesome case at a great price point. If you want your Mavic Air to sit on the body, like it does in the stock case, rather than the rear motors, put some foam in the back as shown. I used two of the foam pieces that came with the extra batteries and double side taped them together and to the case. It's a perfect fit. Case has tons of room and seems really durable. Highly recommended

DON'T PAY TOO MUCH

Great case. Made a few alterations to my liking. I prefer my Mavic Air to sit in it's original case because the original case contains a center support that reduces the weight on your rear motors. IMO, the MA should never sit on a flat surface while folded because most of the weight sits on the rear motors. With that being said, this case is PERFECT to house both. Best of both worlds, double protection. Fits snug if you cut it right by leaving foam on both sides (see picture). Then I hotglued the cut peice of foam i cut off to make the MA fit even snugger vertically. Also, the remote fits pretty snug, so i cut out a small area where you grip the remote, making it easier to extract for your thumb. Not needed, but makes things easier. I shouldnt need to explain how these modifications were made if you check out the photos closely. (Scissors) Lastly, there is a perfect cut out to hide your spare props. 5stars for perfect amount of space, great price and of course the EXTREME PROTECTION of my baby! BONUS: by the handle, there is a cool name plate slot for you to display your owner information or production logo. I know this is something small but it makes a BIG difference when personalizing your prized possessions.

Great Air case!

Great case for the Air and three batteries. I typically donā€™t put all of the other things from the fly more combo in there. But keep the USB cable, FAA card and some lens wipes in the extra storage space. Bring it on my paddle board and have no issues with leaks or water. I havenā€™t fully submerged it, but occasional water splashes are no problem!

A lot of case for the money

I was debating on whether I should spend the extra money on the Pelican case, or to give this one a try. Based on the positive reviews here, I went ahead and gave this one a shot. Iā€™m glad that I did! Itā€™s really a well made case and the pre-cut spaces made it really convenient for the placement of everything. As you can see in my pic, I did follow the lead of another reviewer here and made one small modification to fit the drone inside of its zipper case within this case for an extra layer of protection. With this setup, the drone is very well protected from pretty much anything that you could put it through.
