Started BFA

Came quick, factory sealed, and key worked. That's really all you need to know when it comes to WoW expansions. No one person's opinion on the game is going to really give you an understanding of how the expansion is. You need to play and judge for yourself, and that's exactly what I'm doing. I just returned from a break in Legion. I stopped a week or two before 7.2. A lot is different and I need to dig in and play.

Long time WoW fan and BFA has been a great experience so far! Blizzard does not disappoint However, it is slightly disappointing that the quality of the box has diminished compared to previous expansions. Sole reason I waited for launch to order was so I could add to my collection of box sets of each expac. Hopefully they don't do away with physical copies completely.

Does not come with play time

I liked the little discount for the weekend special. I was used to buying other expansions that included a 30 game time card, this did not. However I was prompted to spend gold I had build up and saved, previously playing the game, and it cost me 117000 gold deducted from my combined characters on my old main server. Big download, so I had to wait to play it until the next morning. Gameplay is different, I was used to the old talent point system, alas I had 10 lvl 100 characters, max level garrisons and shipyard. I did the only thing thinkable without having to take time to vendor unusable items that I thought had meaning. Created the new class. Tutorial started at 98, to get you to 100 with a slow intro back into the game. Auction house prices are pretty high with how long this game has been around. I hope to play more soon, but not like the hardcore grind years past. All I know is I am spending remaining gold saved on biggest affordable bags, and whatever flight trainings to keep me moving fast. Game looks good, no lag, I already enjoy the storyline again.

A lot of people like to hate on World of Warcraft

Is this a good expansion? Absolutely. Was legion better? Well technically, and any major complaints were rectified with 8.2. I'm only been playing a few months but I have come to enjoy BFA. They've taken a lot of the good features from legion and even characters and races from expansions over the last 15 years and put them into latest iteration of World of Warcraft. A lot of people like to hate on World of Warcraft because they say, "it's too easy and casuals are ruining the game" but often times those same people don't have . I think the game's been engineered well for players of all types.

Good deal!

I wasn’t happy with the previous expansions having played for over 10years now so I waited to upgrade. Note that i am a casual player, not into big raids or pvp. This box was what I needed, and I benefit from waiting as many of the glitches are fixed.
