Good quality!
I mean, having a mute in a french horn isn't ideal, but if you have to use one this one is great! Lightweight, arrived quickly, good quality! I live in a townhouse and it mutes it enough to not bother the neighbors.

Very effective
My daughter is self conscious of practicing in an apartment. With this mute, she gets in all her practice time without disturbing the neighbors.

Perfect Trombone Mute
My son needed one for summer band camp and so we purchased this one - WORKS GREAT. He loves it and makes it much less irritating when he practices at home!

Saved our household harmony
This thing works!! Totally amazed at the sound reduction. If you're tired of hearing your kid practice non-stop and are ready to throw out the instrument... BUY THIS instead.

Best preactice mute I’ve used.
I’ve been playing trombone for 10 years now and I’ve never had a practice mute like this one. It really mutes the trombone while still alliwing you to blow freely into the trombone.

It was a good purchase
It was for me a good purchase because it gets the job done. It salients the Instrument with out loosing that sound. Nice mute for what your pay for

Works better than expected!
I just got this today, so I'm not sure how it'll do long term. I live in an apartment complex and have no practice space. So I haven't been able to play any of my brass instruments. I wasn't sure just how much a practice mute would dampen the sound, so I started with the trombones. (My others are a baritone and a tuba, so the trombone was the cheapest mute.) This thing works great! I was skeptical at first, but with the mute in, my trombone is actually quieter than my mandolin, and that's quiet enough to practice at home as is. So I would definitely recommend this.
