Do not hesitate to purchase this light. The quality of materials is excellent. Nothing is flimsy. The adjustable goose neck is solidly made and sturdy. It bends easily, yet keeps its position. The light is very adequate, with a choice of high or low; even the lower level is fine. Be sure to order the BOOK LIGHT SILVER, as this model features a high and low light setting. The light switch is found on the back of LED lights and also seems to be very sturdy. The light has a sturdy clip which remains clipped to my book. Also, because the light is a bit heavier than most, this light can be placed on a table and used as a mini lamp. It never falls over. Accidentally, I ordered two lamps; however, that turned out to be a helpful situation. This light is so effective, I now carry the extra in my purse. Being portable, it assists my vision where ever I go. After my cataract surgery, I need an excellent source of light. This fits the bill! When using this light in church, several people asked me about it. They were so impressed, they planned to purchase one as well. I have purchased many mini book lights, but this one, by far, is the best. The price is right and value is even better.

I cross stitch and needed a bright, yet light and portable light to clamp onto my stand. After the failure of several expensive Ott Lights I gave this one a try. I loved it so much I just purchased another! It has a very long life and I love the fact that it is rechargeable. No more expensive batteries or being tethered to an outlet. I plug them it in overnight and with two always have light ready for my projects.

I received this at no charge for an honest review. I have had this booklight for 1 week approximately. Bottom line, if you want a solid book light for about $12 this is a good product. It lights the page well, attaches easily to books especially hard covered books. I would recommend reversing the clip so it faces outward. Worked better that way for me. It is extremely easy to charge. You just plug the USB connector into a USB plug. The connector is seamlessly part of the light so no charging plug or adapter needed. Also no need to buy new batteries which is great for example if you are prone to falling asleep reading and draining your book light batteries These are big pluses in my opinion: no batteries and no charging accessories to keep track of. The light stayed strong for atleast 3 hours on full power as I left it on to test. After that it still provided light just not as intense. It can be used as a general light source like a flashlight. It lights up dark spaces well enough for me to do tasks with this as my only light source. The part I did not understand was how to use it as a bookmark. It is slightly bulky with the base clip so I could not quite see it acting as the best bookmark. Minor point from my perspective. Overall it is easy to transport as it bends flat and would fit in your office bag etc. I like this light because I can use it as a nice book light or as a general light. It is bright and charging is super easy. I would say the price at about $12 is fair. Again, I received this at no charge for my real and honest review.

I previously bought a similar bookmark book light from a different company, and it quickly became both my favorite bookmark as well as my favorite reading light. The only problem was that the harsh blue light seemed to be worsening my already damaged vision. When I saw the LuminoLite Warm Light version of the bookmark, I couldn’t pass it up...and it far exceeded my expectations. I LOVE this light/bookmark!!! The yellow light is so easy on the eyes, the 4 brightness levels are convenient, and my booklight stays in my book at all times. I only need it on the lowest setting and when reading in bed/in the dark (and my husband appreciates not having the harsh blue light blinding him while he tries to sleep anymore). But one big difference between this and the other one: I even use this (on setting 3) to add extra light to my pages while reading during the day. I never used the blue LED during the day, as it always seemed too harsh. But the warm light adds the perfect amount of extra light to the page and provides extra relief to my eyes. Highly recommend! (Picture compares LuminoLite warm light on the left to the blue LED light version, right)

This is the best thing since sliced bread as far as I'm concerned right now. Before getting this I had been using another device that had a very harsh light and would only shine on about 3/4 of a single page. This light is just the opposite. It's a gentle light and shines on both pages. Also, I can turn the pages easily without having to readjust the light. Highly recommend.

I love this light. I really tried to research which one to get before buying one and decided on the silver version of this light as I read it has 6 lights as opposed to the black version which has 4 lights ( what the difference was in the first place was not very clear ). I felt it might more evenly distribute the light. My concern was with the bright light and whether it would disturb my sleep and I must admit I wish they would come out with a soft light but I seem to have no difference in my sleep pattern when I use my Kindle with it's soft light and this light. I really have trouble reading in low light so I even find myself using this light indoors during the day sometimes. The low would probably be fine for most but I find the high makes a world of difference for me. It does not disturb my husband but nothing would disturb that "bear". I did find that a question I had when researching was would it be too heavy for paperbacks and I never was quite sure I got a good answer. It is fine. I mostly use it for the larger paperbacks and it is not too heavy. I attach it to the top of the side of the book I have the least number of pages on and actually kind of use it as my bookmark. It is not too heavy and is very flexible. I highly recommend this light. Oh and the company is very responsible it seems and checks with you to see if you have received the light and if you have any questions.

In case you haven't noticed it, pencil writing can be shiny and reflective in direct light. (It's a characteristic of graphite.) That can make pencil notes difficult to read under some lighting. Many book lights aren't great for reading pencil notes because they hang out over the page and shine down and reflect off the pencil graphite. They can cause similar glare if the paper is shiny at all. The flat, ribbon version of this book light makes pencil writing a lot easier to read. The lighting comes from the top or side or bottom of the page (depending on where you position it) and puts a wash of light across the page instead of shining down from above it. The 3000K LED puts out a warm light, too, and there are four brightness settings. The whole thing weighs only about 2 ounces. The spring clip is easy to operate and is removable--it slides off--and the light can be used like a bookmark or stored flat. The charging "cable" is actually the middle ribbon of the light. You can tug and push it out of the clip, or just slide the clip off. It fits in most any standard USB port for recharging. A thoughtful feature is a charging light that turns off to let you know the light is fully recharged.

After over two years of constant use, finally had to replace the reading light. The current model has more LEDs than the older one and is brighter. This is by far my favorite reading light: unlike many on the market it gives out clear light without distortions or shadows falling across the book. I take it everywhere when I travel and often end up using as a bedside lamp. Great for camping, too, because you can go for a week on a single charge. LuminoLite also has great customer service: reliable & quick email response. (Wanted to leave seller feedback but once again the option is not available under My Orders.)

I am a law school student, so I am reading all the time. It allows me to read while my wife watches TV with the lights off. This photo is in the dark, with just the TV on. The brightness settings are nice and all four are bright enough to see well. It has a long-lasting battery, a great slim design, and the integrated USB charging is one of the best features I have seen. Great product at a great price.

This is a very cleverly designed little product. It works attached to a book when lying in bed or as a stand-alone light source for your desk at night. It has an ingenious charging method and four levels of brightness. But most important it's a 3000K warm light source. It turns out that that blue-white glare of most led light sources can lead to cataracts after years of use. This is why big companies like Apple and Samsung are promoting the use of blue light blocking glasses. Electronics devices like smartphones and laptops all emit blue light, which also slows the production of the sleep hormone Melatonin and keeps you awake. This why a warm light source is important when you're reading before bed.
