Great Program

You can produce blue print level designs. Takes some effort to learn (not for dummies) but is not difficult. The accuracy and options are wonderful.

Absoulutly the best design software regardless of pricing

If you are familiar with Microsoft products such as WORD or EXCELL the user should understand the window very quickly. It does not require drafting experience. You can make mistakes and instantly recover. I have been using CAD/CAM systems since their inception in the manufacturing industry and this is the best software I have yet to use. Note: This is not a low end system - do not let the pricing fool you - but depending on your degree or level of design detail, one module may not cover it all. SUITE, INTERIORS, PRO all have a distinct application which the user may find limiting if only using one module. I suggest buying SUITE first and getting a feel and understanding of the platform and user requirements, then progress to subsequent levels from there. I myself used SUITE for one (1) month and found the need to add INTERIORS to my system as I design my own details. Summary: The best design software. Do not pass it up. If you don't like, return it.

A very strong program. Beginners don't be afraid to get this home design program..

Really like this product

Really like this product. I plan to build a townhouse and Home Designer is pretty handy in helping me sketch out my idea. By using it, I'm able to easily try different floor plan, experiment various color & texture receipts, add/remove different vanity, appliances etc. It significantly improves the communication efficiency between me and my builder. Plus, the tech support is awesome. The customer service staff are always willing to help. Highly recommended.

This is the easiest to learn. But as any new program, it takes time to learn.

I'm using this program to plan our new home. We will be building it in about a year. This will be our 2nd build and using this program our home will be perfect.

Lots of features

The reviews are right. There is a big learining curve with software because of all the features it offers, but it is well worth learning to use. Don't be scared, just take advantage of the tutorial offered as part of the program and you will be well on your way to designing your dream home.

Make sure your computer can handle this software!

Check your computer! Check your computer! Just because your computer has windows 7- 10 does NOT mean it can handle the 3D rendering! You need to make sure your computer has a hefty video card! My boyfriend got this and found out his work computer cant run all the cool features so he bought himself a new laptop! Right now they're $900+ for a new laptop with enough video card memory and RAM
