Our poodle just passed and my 11 year old was crushed as he was his very first pet. He hasn't been himself for the last month. No movies, fun activities, his favorite sports could snap him out of it. On a lark, I decided to buy this. My son isn't crafty but I thought the worst that happens is he shrugs his shoulders and it sits on the mantelpiece like the urn from Meet the Parents. I left it on his bed when he got home from school. When I say this was cathartic, I am being understated. My son cried happy tears. He went to sleep with this stone by his side and today, he used it as a marker for where our precious dog is buried. I am getting this for any friends or family who lose a pet. Sweet way to remember

I love this little paw print stone. We put in our yard in a spot our dog liked, and it is such a sweet remembrance of her. I am going to order some more to give to friends who lose their beloved pets.
