I bought this after trying to be sold a $40 set by my local hair-dresser when he said my hair had 5-10 years left. As a poor college student fighting fate of thinning hair in his early 20's, gave this product a chance. After several weeks, I can see the little hairs growing in my scalp, as well as new hairs growing where my hair-line had receded. It's strong growth too, not just a few hairs here and there. As other reviewers suggest, I strongly recommend a good conditioner (I got mine at Wallmart). If you think your hair is worth trying a $13 shampoo, give it a shot. I feel as if this a product that may have variable results person-person, but my results have been positive so I speak from my own experience.

This stuff seems to be working

I bought the Biotin shampoo to help with thinning hair. My hairline receded some in my late 30’s and hasn’t changed much since then. But in the past 18-24 months I noticed my hair thinning on the top of my scalp and around the temples. I read that Biotin can help with hair loss and thinning hair so a few months back I purchased this shampoo. I would say within 1-2 weeks I could see a positive difference in my hair. It looked healthier and was definitely fuller. This shampoo also goes a very long way. Yes the bottle is small, but it only takes a dime or nickel size of shampoo to wash a full head of hair. This first bottle is only half gone and I wash my hair every day and sometimes twice per day when I work out. Happy with this product.

I am a woman in my mid-50's, with very fine, naturally curly hair. About 20 years ago I was diagnosed with a hypothyroid condition. One of the precipitating symptoms was hair loss. Within the first 3 shampoos, upon drying my hair, my hair was markedly thicker, though not weighted down. Within less than 2 weeks I saw a marked decrease in the amount of hair coming out, during shampooing. Fewer strands in my hands, fewer strands left in the shower stall. I couldn't be happier. this does exactly what it purports to do. The additional benefit is that the smell is heavenly -- but it does NOT leave a heavy, "perfume-y" smell on your hair. I highly recommend this to anyone who's experiencing thinning hair. Lastly, as a "curly girl", I always thought I needed to seek out shampoos and conditioners "specially formulated" for curly hair. Great Shampoo for Retaining Hair and Dry Scalp

I am a middle aged male suffering from standard male pattern baldness (some in the front and thinning on the crown) I have been using this product for approximately 4 months and from what I can tell I am not losing any hair. I appear to be retaining what hair I have which is all I am really wanting to accomplish here. The price is great and it smells nice, plus it appears to delivering on it's purpose. I have also noticed if you have dry scalp this shampoo seems to help with that issue so maybe there is some additional benefit not originally promised.

A surprisingly good answer to a worrisome problem

This is a great product. I am a senior with very fine hair. For some time my comb and brush were being clogged with falling out hair; what remained was becoming frizzy. a lot of fly-away broken strands. This was panicky making, I always dreaded getting the balding-on-the top look that plagues some older women, many of whom don't seem to be aware of what they look from behind. I searched the Internet for what to do and came up with biotin. So I ordered this biotin shampoo and was thankfuland amazed. With in a couple of weeks my comb and brush were practically hair free, my hair felt silky and smelled good. A surprisingly good answer to a worrisome problem.

I read most every review along with research, as I am quite skeptic. It was the praise of this product that finalized my purchase decision. I completely agree with the reviews. This is a Fantastic product. My hair felt fuller and thicker after a couple of days. I know, seems impossible. It's true. Now I know why all of the reviews pretty much followed the same suit. I ordered again in the larger bottle. My hair is fuller, thicker, and softer. Excellent product at a reasonable (lower than others) to take a chance on.

I’m on my second bottle, I have been using for a few months and can definitely see a difference. My hair was barely past my shoulders in July this picture was taken last week of December. I have trimmed my hair twice since July too. My hair is not falling out as much and I have so much baby hair too.

it works

I'm a mid-30s male with a moderately receding hairline the last few years. I was skeptical to begin with, but this shampoo has largely fixed it. It took perhaps 5 weeks before there was any sign of improvement, and now after 3 months it has mostly reversed the few years of hair loss. Hair becomes a little greasy with repeated use, so I alternate it with a regular shampoo. I let it soak in for a few minutes before rinsing, as suggested in the instructions. Smells nice, and a bottle lasts quite a long time.
