Great solution to safely make kindling

Great way to safely make kindling out of firewood. The only other thing you need is a hammer or mallet. You should consider mounting it to a log to raise it up so you don't need to bend over quite so far to strike the wood, but not essential to using the splitter. It cast iron and is well made.

Great Product!

I purchased the kindling cracker for our cub scout group for our summer campouts. It is a safe way to split small wood for kindling. You can actually plan on where you want the wood split. I recommend the product for anyone with children that wants to get them involved. It worked great! The shipping was fast and the sellers donate to St. Jude's. So its a win win
