This is one of the best inventions for phones/tablets ever. I work from home full time and I like to have my phone close by. This gives me the option to do that and it's mounted, I can charge it while it's in place and I can adjust the angle. Before this, I scoffed at the necessity of it, but now that I've used it a couple of weeks, I can imagine not having it going forward.

I love it. No more bending my back to read my book on my iPad. Yes, I meant iPad. This stand is so sturdy and solid that my iPad can stand for hours. Also, the angle can be adjustable so I can place my iPad at any elevation, and it still reaches my eyesight. The material is great and can’t be scratched. No slipping.

Superb Portable Stand

I travel to Asia and/or Europe for business four times per year for 2~3 weeks at a time and need a "portable office" with my 15.4" MBP laptop and an external GeChic 15.6" portable display. I need to access the company's ERP, website and large spreadsheets constantly while I'm on the road and that's why I travel with such a rig. I prefer having the laptop lifted at an angle with a portable and foldable laptop stand and decided to give this stand a try to lift the external display. I wasn't expecting this little stand to hold a 1.5 pound display or my iPad Pro 12.9" firmly but it does that with no problem. The two pivot points stay in place with the display mounted and I have to say I'm very impressed. Now I can have the MBP and the external display lifted side by side and I can work away in the hotel room like I'm in my work or home office where I have a 27" iMac and a 32" external display side-by-side. Honestly, I can work away with this portable rig all day long without having my neck crouching down. It really does help for your posture to have the displays lifted. Great product. I read someone's review that it can handle a 12.9" iPad Pro and that's what got me interested. I have an even bigger and slightly heavier display than the iPad Pro and this stand handles it without any problem. And it folds so easily into a very compact device that can fit easily into almost any bag compartment. Very nice. It makes me much more productive on the road and I couldn't have asked for more. Excellent value as well. Highly recommended for road warriors.

Best Foldable and compact Stand

I just got my Foldable Stand in the mail and when I saw it I thought there is no way it will hold my IPad Pro 12.9 inches, well... I was wrong it holds it and I love the fact that is has many angles, it is very sturdy and well made, I am impressed, another thing that I love about this product is that it is compact and foldable, I have another one that does not fold and I can not bring it with me because it is so bulky, this one on the other hand folds and fits perfect in my computer bag. I will be buying another one for my mom’s iPad, I know she will love it, Thank you so much for making such a great and well made product.

I like the fact that it weighs enough to remain stable while cradling my tablet. I have a fire 8 tablet with a fairly thick rubber " wrap around " protective case that packs a bit of weight, and this stand being metal (not plastic) doesn't even hint at toppling over even when bumped! It's thick, so it's hefty (relatively). Also love the no-slip rubber stick-ons on the bottom, try to slide it on the table or desk top and it won't budge! (That's a good thing). The hinges are very "stiff" when adjusting angles (there are two hinges) mine requires use of both hands to manipulate it. This is also a good feature in my view because once you set the angle to suit your needs, it stays put. I may order another just to insure that I've got one of these bad boys in the event that this one is lost,.. or stolen (yes it's that good)

Small but sturdy for iPads. No sliding.

Very compact. Bought it to hold my new iPad 10.7 inch and it does that very well. I can place iPad portrait or landscape and charge it while in the stand. Has grip on the bottom so it doesn’t slide and a bit of rubbery stuff so your iPad doesn’t rest directly on the metal. Good for travel I think.

Very sturdy and well made!

I love the fact that this is not a cheap, plastic stand. This stand has some weight and stability to it. I am using this one for my iPad mini, and I am thrilled with how securely the iPad is held. I watch a lot of Hulu and YouTube, so thus is perfect for me. I'm thinking that I might order an additional one for my phone since I use speaker quite a bit. This will free my hands to do other things while I am on the phone. This is well worth the money!!

Not sure???

I hesitated … friction hinges … I bet the weight of my phone will push it down … and the metal may be light and it will tilt and fall easily. I was WRONG on all counts. The metal is heavy and the friction hinges are stronger than I thought would be possible. This is a great little device and my phone is constantly in it. I don't know about others, but if you can utilize a stand/holder like this, then this is the one to buy. Others may match (or not), but there will be none better. Regards

Great for iPad Mini

I teach English online to kids in China. Most of the time I use my laptop to do so, but sometimes I get tired of sitting so I purchased this stand to be able to stand up and teach using my ipad. The stand is made of heavy duty metal. It has a rubber bottom to avoid damage to surfaces as well as a rubber backing that the ipad leans into and sits on to keep it from slipping or sliding around. The stand is VERY well made and feels like a steal for $12! It has a very tight hinge so the weight of the ipad does not move the angle at which you have set your ipad. This works a hundred times better than the gooseneck ipad holder that I purchased. This was a great buy and I highly recommend it!

Awesome stand

I bought this stand to hold a iPhones, iPads or Kindles so my son can watch videos. Yes, I'm one of those bad parent who likes to use an electronic baby sitter to occupy my kid. This stand is well made and doesn't feel cheap. We have another stand but I like this one better as I can fold it up and take it with us if needed. My son seems to prefer this stand over the old one as well. This stand will hold iPhones and iPads with ease along with the Kindle Fire HD 8 regular and Kids Edition. There's only 3 of us but we have 3 iPhones, 3 iPads, and 2 Kindles.... I remember the days before electronic gadgets and those days suck. I will gladly embrace my electronic gadgets addiction and products like this helps us enjoy our addiction!! Yes, this is a legit review and I paid for this product when my awesome Amazon prime card. Speaking of addictions.....
