Spent a long time selecting a bulb to replace my RV incandescents. Tempted to buy the cheaper by the dozen bulbs but reviewer comments helped me decide that I didn't want to take chances on a cheap knock off that may or may not work, polarity issues, etc. I'm trying to avoid a fire....Most of our fixtures had 2 bulbs that got very hot in a short period of time. We only needed 1 LED in each fixture and they are brighter than 2 bulbs. No Heat!! No issue installing. We bought 8 to trial. Already ordered another 4 to finish all lights.

I have tried several different types of LED bulbs in my RV and these are the best so far. They are much brighter than the original incandescent bulbs, do not get very hot, illuminate a full 360 degrees, and use very little power. The base of the bulb is also very strong and easy to grab, so they are easy to install and remove. I have tried some of the flat disc-type LED lights that worked fine, but felt like they would break going in. The only caution I would have is that they are quite a bit taller than the original bulbs, so they are not centered in my fixtures and may not fit in all applications. Overall a purchase I am very happy with.

What?! These are amazing. Great quality bulbs, every one works perfectly. They are so much brighter than the incandescent bulds and the cheap LEDs I tried before in my RV. They are a clean white color. I can use one light at a time instead of two and it's still brighter, with way less power drawn. I'm ordering more and changing them all.

Seeking to extend the life of my battery when not connected to shore power I wanted to replace the high consumption incandescent bulbs in my RV with LEDs. This turned out to be a challenge to find bulbs similar in amount of light produced and color. Trying to use things like the number of Surface-Mounted-Devices (SMD), Temperature (measured in Kelvin), and Lumens – how much light produced (although technically not the best measure for LEDs) are not always shared in the details. For example, SMD, this is the number of Light emitting diodes (LEDs) mounted on the surface. The first two I tried had the same number (42) so I assumed the amount of light would be similar – it wasn’t. The problem is, more may not necessary be better. This is because they are typically mounted around the ‘bulb’. Also the amount of light produced (loosely translated to lumens) depends on the size of the LED usually represented by a 4 digit number like 5050 (which is 5.0mm x 5.0mm). So lacking apples to apples, I decided to just try a few. I have now tried three different LEDs for my RV. Here is what I came up with. Note if you search amazon First, I tried: 20 count for $16.99 “AUTOSAVER88 20X T10 Wedge Side RV Trailer 42-SMD LED Pure White Interior Light 192 168 2825”. Although not stated in the details when I bought them, they now are listed 6000K-6500K - least desirable of the three I tried. The blue hue to them made them undesirable and they really did not provide enough light to replace the incandescent. I would say two of these were still not as bright as 1 of the incandescent. Second, I tried: 20 count for $15.99 “DGCUS 20 x RV Trailer T10 921 194 42-SMD 12V Car Backup Reverse LED Lights Bulbs Warm White (Warm White)” < https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01M7NVYK6/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1> again, not stated in the details, I would guess they are in the 3300-3500K range – Second best of the three I tried and I’d be happy with these but slightly disappointed in the amount of light provided compared to the incandescent bulbs. Third, I tried: 4 count for $19.99. “Kohree 12 Volt Replacement Bulb 921 Wedge LED Bulb, 12V T10 Interior Lighting RV Light Bulbs for Trailer Motorhome 5th Wheel, Marine Boat Dome Light Replacement”. < https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07B3S8B5F/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1> These were actually listed as 4000K and advertised as 'natural light'. These were the best of the three I tried. Closest in temperature and brightness of the incandescent bulbs. So, I ended up putting 1 of the DGCUS and one of the Kohree in each of my fixtures and felt it was a good trade off in the amount of energy consumed and the light provided. If I used the RV more, I'd spend the money on the Kohree to do the entire RV.

Very bright (placed in kitchen area of travel trailer), good build and nice color (just warmer than natural daylight [not blue]). The construction was better than any other LED I've tried for the trailer! Nice packaging as well. Light is output in all directions (which is nice for most ceiling placements or vertical lamps... but not recommended for an eye level RV socket, you'll be blinded by the bright light...) Will update on use, we're planning some cross country trips so it'll get regular use.

I bought these to replace the hot automotive type lights in my RV. My RV has 9 interior lights. Since I wanted so many I ordered a cheaper brand first. That was a real mistake. I decided that you get what you pay for. These have a clear cover over the little lights and it is well attached to the base. No floppiness like the cheaper brand. They were bright when we turned them on and lacked the bluish tint of the cheaper brand. I still had a couple of the cheaper ones in another fixture so I was able to compare them side by side. These were much more pleasant. These have a warmer, more yellowish light than the natural white, but that was what I wanted for the bedroom area. I wanted a softer light there. These were also individually boxed for their protection. The other brand just came with 20 randomly in a plastic bag. I gave my cheaper brand a one star review. I am impressed with these and am ordering more, even though the price is significantly more. I just hope that they are long lasting.

These worked great for the reading lights in our motorhome bedroom. Incandescents were always too dim or too hot. These work great without heating up the space and consuming a lot of electrical current. I used the remaining two bulbs in my enclosed trailer for crisp light in there too.

I tried another 'will fit' LED bulb replacement for my 12v RV kitchen fixture which has used a 921 filament bulb for years... but that was too dim. These Kohree 12 Volt Replacement Bulb 921 Wedge LED Bulbs are advertised as 'extra bright' which steered me away as I didn't want to be blinded like the modern automotive Halogen headlamps... BUT, all is well, These should just be described as a ideal replacement in the white, not yellow-white version as the light from the white version of this LED light is about exactly no difference in light than a good old 921 filament bulb... It's perfect for working in the kitchen and for over the stove... I can see what I'm cooking again and thanks to the stocker, the shipper and the manufacturer of this ideal and perfect replacement bulb. 'Nuf said, now to enjoy beautiful perfect light... Coming back 6 months later after one of these bulbs 'burnt out' I think from too much heat when I was cooking up a dinner in the frying pan on the stove top. I like the light from these bulbs, but this is something to be aware of...

If I had a complaint it would be that they are too bright, but other than that they look great. My camper is only 17ft so it is more than enough light for my application. I bought these because I had ordered some cheap LED replacements, but they did not hold up. They where not as bright and the plastic bases on them was becoming brittle and crumbling after prolonged use. Spend the money and get these if you are converting from regular bulbs.
