My husband is the family bread baker. He tried several different pans over the years and settled on this type, of which he had two. But he usually makes three loaves at a time so I ordered this for him thinking the size was the same as the ones he had. It turned out that the two he already had were the 1 pound size so I returned this one and bought him the right size to match his others. He is baking three loaves as I write this. He likes the way the pan cooks, cleans, and holds up. A light coating of oil is all that is needed for the cooked loaf to release easily.

You will never need to buy another bread pan again! This is a professional-grade, heavy duty pan. The corrugated sides and bottom let air circulate during the baking process. The corrugated sides and bottom will not be evident on your finished bread. Although I always use a baking spray, this pan has a long lasting coating for quick release of your newly baked bread. Once I was making several loaves of bread and forgot to prepare the pan but I was further impressed with this pan when the second loaf was released just a easily as the first. This is the pan you will use when your recipe calls for three cups of flour.

These pans are without a doubt the most solid, well-built and best performing bread pans I have ever used in my short baking life. Just feeling the heft of these pans tell you they mean business! I baked my first loaves yesterday with these pans and they turned out amazing. I can't recommend these pans more. I think I'll get two more! :)

I use this pan and my cast iron on a weekly basis and love both. I find that my breads get a better rise out of this pan than they do in the cast iron for some reason. maybe because this pan has a smoother texture?? Beats me. This pan is totally nonstick. I make white and wheat bread in it and have never lined or greased it. I was just going to suggest that users only use a silicone spatula in it, but come to think of it, I've ever used any spatula in it. My bread always slides right out. For those spreading a batter or dough into this, they will want to use a silicone spatula though... NEVER metal :)

I ordered a second one! Made in usa and very nice quality. Much nicer than the cheap stamped metal at a big box store. I've made sandwich bread a few times now. I lightly grease the pans according to the recipe. The bread bakes in normal timeframe, it is a beautiful golden color without getting overdone on the bottom. Best of all, it literally falls out of the pan when I tip it sideways. Hand washing is simple because nothing sticks to it. I dry them immediately and take some extra time to tap the pan against the towel in my hand to shake any water out of the folded edges. I bought the second pan so I could make two loaves at once and freeze what we don't need immediately. So easy and we have fresh sandwich bread whenever we need it

There's not a lot to say about this pan that hasn't already been said. When I took it out of the box, I actually said "wow!". This feels like a product from a bygone age, back when things were made to last. This thing has some serious heft to it. Sure, you can find less expensive bread pans, but not of this quality.

I've been lusting after this pan for some time now and finally bought it; it did not disappoint. It heats evenly, browns beautifully, and releases from the pan easily. After nearly forty years of baking bread, I've finally reached nirvana. It is SO worth the money. I'm donated all my other bread pans and replacing them. (The bread is the Oatmeal Sandwich Bread from Pioneer Woman. It called for two 8x4 pans, but I made it in this 10x5.)

Great pans-- if you have any KAF (King Arthur Flour) bakeware, this is the same product with a different branding. The quality is excellent and stands the test of time. My wife and I have been using the 9x5 pans for years and they look the same as when we bought them (still churning out quickbreads like a champ).

This bread pan made a nice loaf the first time I used it. And the baked bread just falls out of the pan, with almost no cleaning needed. I bake gluten-free bread, which is not so easy to get right, and I've used several different pans, but this pan worked so well it is now my favorite. I keep it stored in a plastic bag to prevent the finish from getting scratched.

Love, love, love these bread pans. I bake a lot of sourdough bread (pictured) and had put up with the crazy slanted ends on my glass bread pans for years. I took a chance and bought two of the USA pans - I wish I would have found them years ago. They are so well made and my bread falls right out of the pan after baking. Oh, and the ends (the heel ends) are almost straight so you don't have to cut off a weird wedge to get to a straight piece of bread. Perfect pans!!!
