Works great! Add a tiny bit extra water if you rinse well and put a cookie sheet under it if you make 16 cups ( to catch the tiny bit that shoots through the vent hole)

My Daughter loves this. She said she wanted a rice cooker, but she makes meals in this and they’re wonderful. Rice does not stick, is done every time, and really easy to clean.

burns rice at the bottom if you leave it in there

I am half korean and rice is a must for me. I needed something quick. The first one shorted on me, contacted Amazon, they replaced it, sent ups to pick up the return item! I love amazon. We eventually bought another more pricier rice steamer but we had to do research before purchasing that one. Definitely keeping this one, though, it steams food!

Very nice rice cooker

Well is a rice cooker and you know how use! Is working well and easy to clean.

Finally i can cook rice!!!! I am the worst at cooking rice. And now i finally mastered it. The i structions arent super clear. But add the water AFTER the rice is in the cooker. Idid the other way and my first batch was too wet. 2nd time perfected it. Love this cooker!!

Not messy if you use the steam basket

Im very happy with this rice cooker. It’s true it can be messy if you don't use the steamer basket in it. But if you do put the steamer basket in it while your cooking rice there is no mess at all. I've steamed frozen vegetables in it and at the same time added meat on top of that and it seems to cook everything in there perfect, and its all ready at the same time. I have cooked fish, shrimp, and even chicken in it. I couldnt be happier with the results.

Excellent cooker!

The rice cooker is excellent, if you know how to cook. (Never overfill any rice cooker/steamer for it to leak) One cup rice and 2 cups of water, with a teaspoon of olive oil. It helps to ensure the rice doesnt stick as well. When cooking is finished, unplug it and let it steam. The warm feature will still cook your finished rice making it overcooked. As a caterer/chef, it has my approval.
