Our 9 year old grandson loves it and their entire household has played with it.

this is easy the built. My 11 year old really likes it.

I just gave this to my 7 year old boy for a birthday. He initially needed some help (I built 2 tracks) and now he's completely independently building & absolutely loving it. Make sure you have the starter set before buying the expansion- and note the cannon is included in the starter set if you only want one. Im hoping amazon starts selling the hammer soon! (another add on) The tracks are thin plastic & not meant for a younger child. Its a complex system meant for kids that have experience with marble runs & are able to be planners for where the marble should run. Its easy to knock or bump as you build (not in a detrimental way), but again age appropriate for older kids.

My granddaughter loves this. She is extremely intelligent and can put together a 1000 piece Lego set in a couple of hours. She is sked for marble tracks so I researched and this seemed like thr best and most challenging. She was do happy, I purchased like 3 extensiong sets for her.
