This picture printer was super easy to use. At first I was a little bit intimidated because the user manual had numerous steps, but I could set up everything instinctively and the little machine was ready to print photos in under 3 minutes. I especially liked the fact that I did not need to find an outlet to plug it in, or adjust settings through my mobile like most IoT gadget these days. The photos were retro cute. It takes some practice to find the right balance of light: display brightness and room lighting. Yes, ROOM LIGHTING too! I printed one photo by my window blinds and the photo came out with stripes. I think the light coming through the cracks of my window blinds somehow affected the print. That being said, I don't mind it because that is part of the fun. You can adjust lighting to create your perfect retro looking picture, instead of industrialized photo prints. I feel this would be a good education toy for kids too, to get them started thinking about the mechanism of camera and photos. Overall, great value for money for something under $40. Perfect for gifting or home use.

My mom sent me this printer to use while I am away at college (Go Vols!). At first I was like, what is this, but once I set it up and used it I called her to let her know it was a pretty fun little gadget. I take so many pictures on my phone, but don’t always have time to send them somewhere to have them developed, this solved that instantly. I like that I can print out any picture at once, I’ve put them in a photo board in my apartment, and it’s fun to keep adding new photos whenever I want. It’s compact, lightweight and now my only worry is running out of film to print off my crazy photos! I may even send a couple to my mom to put up in her office. If you have a kid in college, it’s a nice way to decorate a dorm room or apartment. I love this little printer!

Omg, I love this thing! In my younger days, I would shoot with all sorts of Polaroid cams...different models that used 600 film, Joycam, Mio, I-zone...hell, even my 1st digital camera was a gigantic Olympus that ALSO printed on 500 film. Yes, you're essentially taking a picture of your phone screen, so this acts as somewhat like a darkroom photo enlarger, but on a much smaller/portable scale! Edited- i saw another review, and what I really meant was pinhole camera, haha. No batteries or bluetooth connection needed! I feel like the charm of instant pictures is the surprise of how they'll turn out, how the prints aren't super crisp and are kind of dreamy and blurry, if that makes sense. I love this gadget because the results are SO similar to OG polaroid prints! Plus you can do multi exposures, if that's your thing. Just remember, brightness all the way up and turn off screen rotation, you know, follow the instructions. Now I haven't used any other instant pic printers, because they're sort of pricey, but this is an absolute steal! Sidenote, Holga is currently running a Kickstarter campaign for something incredibly similar, but more $$$. Just get this one!

KiiPix came out at the perfect time for me as I was looking into buying an Instax Camera for summer vacation. A friend of mine already owns a Hp Sprocket and that was too expensive. Turns out the image quality is not better, I would say KiiPix prints are the best. So charming, see attached some photos side by side. I am glad I decided to try KiiPix, despite some negative reviews. I bought the film in bulk to save and also found that it works with Polaroid 300. It takes a little practice to get the best pictures. I had a few images that came out darker, but was able to play with the photo settings and they turned out really nice. I am definetely going to use this with my 5th graders this year. We take pictures in the classroom and I think my kids will have a lot of fun with it! I would definitely recommend over the HP Sproket and Fuji Instax camera for that matter. Who needs a camera when you have your phone!!!

I love this printer! It's an amazing value. Make sure you use this with adequate lighting. I used this in a dark setting and my pictures came out good but sensational like I wanted. They came out with a bit of a dark tint. But this product is genius because it's so simple and has great picture quality. I would highly highly recommend it to my friends and family.

I bought this product because The thought of being able to print a picture from my phone like a old school Polaroid seemed like a really cool idea! The printer is smaller then I was expecting, and is not too difficult to use. The one thing I would recommend is that you turn your screen brightness as high as it can be, because if it's not the picture well come out too dark. I ruined a couple pictures this way. I will enjoy using this product to preserve some of my favorite pictures in a more physical format!

This is more than what I was expexting. I was looking for a portable printer for my iPhone and chose KiiPix because of the price. However, this totally blew my mind. I like the way the photos have this retro look and look so good in the small photo frames I have. I look forward to printing more soon!!

I'm not the type of person to leave tons of reviews, but I can't help but share the love for this product. Such great value considering how well it works and how great it is that you don't need to charge it or deal with bluetooth connection on your phone. Such a simple, straightforward "low tech" design that brings you pretty much the same thing as the "high tech" $80-$140 phone printers from HP, Canon, Fujifilm, and Kodak. I've been wanting a phone printer cuz I could never justify buying an instax camera when I already carry a standard digital camera with me most days (I shoot with a fujifilm xt20) and I already have an iphone... So... this thing truly suited my needs perfectly. Perhaps the higher end printers will give more vibrant colors, but I'm pretty happy with mine and I haven't had any of the problems like having the photo come out all black. The rolling effect does come through ever so slightly, but that doesn't bother all that much. I think it adds to the charm of the photo. Anyway, I can't say enough good things about this product and how happy I am with it. If you're eyeing it, definitely grab it! It's worth every cent. Be sure to align your phone screen properly with the given frame so that you don't get funny borders on your picture. The frame is designed to sit on top of the printer in a flushed position, so if it's off, that could also affect how the printer comes out. I'm honestly so happy with this little printer, and I can't wait to take it with me while traveling and share polaroids with friends and fam on visits, as well as just have little polaroids I can put into my bullet journal now. The photos were printed in slightly dim room light and my iphone screen was at its brightest! Hope these tips help. Have fun!

What can be said about this handy little toy? KiiPix gives you a cheap and easy way to print retro style photos. The instructions seem simple enough: Just attach your phone on the plate, pop it onto the legs, press a button, and turn a dial. I brought it to a barbecue and it was an instant hit! At the same time, It was a little tricky to ensure that different makes of phones would fit on the plate itself, and attaching the plate to the legs of the KiiPix. Some photos, like darker ones, didn't turn out as well as brighter ones. My friends had a good time passing the KiiPix around and showing off their photos. I can see this going over well at parties and school events. It's really satisfying to hold a photo in your hands that you printed yourself! All in all, a cool low tech solution to one of modern life's problems.

Bought the printer to take with me to a wedding over the weekend. The printer was very easy to carry around and you can print pictures anytime and anywhere. You get a nice retro vibe to the pictures and everyone loved having a physical photo to keep. I highly recommend it. Tip: make sure your phone is on full brightness before you print to make sure it doesn’t come out too dark
