Zero noise from this line

works perfect. the regular yellow line made all kinds of noise. this new line makes ZERO noise. loving my firepit now

No whistling, high quality, clean threads, great paint

I installed a very nice burner in my outdoor fireplace. It included a flexible gas line with baffles similar to this, but it whistled horribly. If I removed all bends from the flex line for testing, the old one still whistled loudly. I ordered this flex line to replace it and it vastly exceeded my expectations. in fact, it ELIMINATED ALL WHISTLE. I tested with and without bends in the line and the noise level was the same - quiet. I was very careful to create smooth turns, using both hands to work each bend in. I have a gentle 135 degree bend and a very tight 90 degree elbow. I'd prefer to use a hard pipe fitting to do the tight 90 degree elbow, but I decided to give this line a try and it did NOT whistle. The threads are very clean. The line feels high quality. The fittings (also painted matte black) are heavy weight. I had to wrench fairly aggressively and the paint did not scratch. The matte black that is used is not discolored by heat (mine is very close to the flame) and does not scratch easily. Compared to the silver flex line that came with my burner, this matte black is nearly invisible in my fireplace. Great color! Update (60 days in): Everything has stayed consistent. I've probably got 30 hours of use on this line now. There is still no whistle or change in volume as the gas flows through the tube. The paint has not faded at all. Great product! I'm buying a second unit for my interior fireplace.

Flex gas pipe for fire place

Needed a flexible pipe for our new fire logs. Worked great and less noise than the aluminum one that came with the logs.

It doesn't whistle and thats the important part.

Still makes a really small noise but it's just like the cooking range in the house... thats just the gas coming out. People at the HomeD and Lovves ;) told me to use a regular one. WTF , that made so much noise... it was not usable... just buy this one if you are doing a fire-pit. I haven't try other brands or makers but this one works. :)

Perfect for outdoor firepit

Worked exactly as planned for an outdoor fire pit. Original plumbing was a bit of center so this allowed me to center the fire pit perfectly. It did whistle for first use but turned off gas and tried again and it no longer made any sound. I would recommend.
