These were ordered to supplement the diet of the wrens that live in my yard due to some severely cold weather. At first they weren't overly interested, but now they seem to be enjoying them. I also put some out by the main bird feeder and some other birds discovered they like them as well. 5 lbs of dried mealworms is a really large bag but I think they'll be able to eat them all. The all natural is an important buying requirement. The zipper to close the bag broke apart and I will be looking for another container to put them in, but that's not a deal breaker. The mealworms arrived on time as ordered, thank you to the seller!! Will purchase from this seller again :)

After 30 years of feeding birds at the same abode, we finally got some bluebirds this winter. Weren't expecting them as we're situated in a wooded habitat and bluebirds prefer more open areas, but there they were - three of them working at the suet feeders and eating shelled sunflower seeds. We needed no more incentive than that and quickly got a mealworm feeder and these mealworms. Since then the numbers have increased to about 10 bluebirds. At the elementary school up the street, a teacher lamented to me that they'd had but one bluebird at their feeder, so I treated her class to a feeder and a bag of these excellent mealworms. A half our later she emailed me with the news that they had several bluebirds at the feeder outside her classroom and the children were thrilled. Get these mealworms! Not only will they bring in bluebirds, but chickadees, titmice, and woodpeckers love them too. Wish I'd started offering these years ago!

I am an advid bird watcher etc. I just moved into my home and had the bird feeding stations set up before I had unpacked. I filled the feeders with the seed I had and waited several days for the little guys to find. After about 5 days of little to no activity I added the dried mealworms and that same day I saw at least 6 or 7 different birds at the feeders. Such activity! I had to refill the feeders the next day! Love this addition to the seed and apparently so do the birds! I will continue to buy. They are large mealworms and not broken or smashed to pieces. Great product.

Tweets got around the Bluebird community that meal worms were available at my home. It was getting pricey buying in small packages and shopped for larger packages. Amazon offered the 5 lbs TradeKing package at a great price. I gave it a try and the Bluebirds love them! The package came on time, as promised.

I purchased these dried mealworms for a collection of wild birds and yard lizards that visit my property daily. I simply toss a handful out along with the birdseed I distribute every morning, and that seems to do the trick. Also, I place some mealworms in a reptile dish away from the wild bird's primary eating area; Doves, Bluejays, Cardinals. So far all of my little critters are quite happy to now be in receipt of the quality dried mealworms. I enjoy watching them buzz around with excitement at this new addition to meal times. The 1 pound bag is certainly generous for the price, and the bag actually does reseal as stated. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase!

Cost 1/4 price of previously ordered mealworms and birds are flocking to get these. Have an entire village of bluebirds eating out of feeder, many cardinals and wrens also. Only bird not interested seems to be the male woodpecker. This brand is obviously much better buy.

These are for the birds, I found many more for a much higher price but the birds ate thees just as fast as the high priced ones. I limit the amount I put out a day for they go threw them very fast. I did find the type of feeder has a greater influence on the type of birds that are drawn in then the cost of the mealworms. I did find that for whatever reason some types of mealworms the song birds do not like (This is not one of them)

This is the first time we’ve ordered mealworms and I’m not sure that I can attest to freshness or flavor. Soon after we put it out we captured a picture with a bluebird heading to the bluebird box with a mealworm in its mouth, so we believe things are going well with the grandbirds.

About a year ago, a duck flew into our yard after a storm. We have no idea where it came from or where it was headed. After calling the local animal shelter and them explaining that they don't take ducks (after laughing at us), they suggested we not feed it and it would go away. What human would suggest this as a course of action I'll never know. After all it's a living thing. So we did some research and found this product and bought it through TradeKing on Amazon. Delivery was prompt and the packaging is great. Best of all, duckie loves them. She will follow you when she sees the bag. That in turn makes me happy. Moral of the story, I guess she was supposed to land with people that would care for her until she's ready to continue her journey. No matter when that is.

Don't have much to say about these except that our wild bird friends love these! We fill up our feeders with these once a week and they're always empty. Our wild bird friends devour them regularly. Visitors to our feeders include cardinals, finches, blue birds and more. Highly recommend.
