Better Than Head Mounted

Had my doubts but now I'm a believer. This product is better than a head mounted light. It is very bright yet my wife can sleep next to me while I read. The only downside is that if you lie on your back, the power section becomes uncomfortable behind your neck. I just slide the unit off center and it is fine. Now my wife wants one for herself.

Exactly what I’ve Been Looking For!!!!

This has worked for crafting, reading, and whatever else I have to do in the dark. The lights gets so bright that I end up using just one side on the lowest setting. I love that it is rechargeable. The snake like feature makes it so easy for me to get the light pointed right where I want it to be. I don’t even feel that I am wearing it around my neck because it is so light. I would recommend this product to anyone. Even though the light is bright, it isn’t harsh for my eyes. The switches are really easy to work. This product is exactly what I’ve been looking for to do might night time reading and for crocheting in the dark. I can light up the room, or adjust the light setting and the neck to only light up a little bit. I’m in control of the light. LOVE LOVE LOVE. With a new baby, having such control over the light to not disturb him is a huge plus.

I really didn't know what to expect with this product. I bought it because is was something that wouldn't fall out of a pocket, or unhook from my jacket. I am very pleased with this light. It fits around my neck nicely. It stays in place, not rotating around my neck at all. The light is bright, and I can maneuver it in any direction. Nice product.

This product is great! it's very light weight and comfortable to wear, and the flexible "arms" and variable light options are very convenient. Much easier to use than the traditional clamp book light because it doesn't weigh down the book or require the user to adjust the angle as you move from page to page. I can imagine it will be good for tasks that require a hands free focused light or even during a black out. I often stay up later than my boyfriend and read with a clamp light, but these are much better. Very happy!

So Useful!!!!

I bought this light to enable me to read whenever I'm too far away from any plugged-in lamp, and it works like a charm. I especially like how the brightness can be adjusted. I then bought a second one for my mom, so that she can see easily while hands-free (as when she's using her walker). Now neither one of us know how we ever lived without it.

Better than a head lamp

I compare this light to other hands-free lights. This one is great. Head lamps focus on whatever is straight ahead of your forehead, weather that's where you need to look or not and they draw bugs to your face. This one can be pointed wherever you need to point it. It is great for reading paper books or doing handwork or anything else in your lamp. It is also great for working in dark spots. I use it to peer into my chest-type solar fridge when the electricity isn't working and I use it in my dark storeroom to see in the containers. It can be worn around the neck or placed anywhere convenient so that the thing you need to see is visible. I like its re-chargeable feature. It only has a USB plug, so make sure you have a USB plug available, or buy an adapter.

Great Gift!

I bought one of these lights so I could see well enough to check my script or notes when I am back stage in the dark. It worked so well that since then I have bought two more to give as cast gifts to crew members. It’s fantastic backstage... you can hang it around your neck to read notes or wrap it around something in a dark corner where a little light is needed. I do find it a little bulkier than I expected, but it’s just so useful! It’s also great when camping to read at night or just put a little hands free light exactly where you need it.

Your New Favorite Reading Light!

This is my second Lumino product - I received the clip-on reading light as a gift. Did not think I could love a reading light more. Turns out the Neck Hug Reading Light is a game changer! Not just hands free, but three brightness options. It easily illuminated both pages of my open book. And it is lightweight - I hardly notice I am wearing it. Like the clip-on, it is rechargeable -LOVE! And although I just started using it, it seems every bit as well made like my other Lumino light. Highly recommend.

As advertised!

This is a really well made item and it does exactly what I hoped it would do. I use the lowest setting to read and it provides plenty of light. Honestly, the other two are simply TOO bright for reading. But they would have other applications such as walking the dog at night, etc. No clip to put on book: place it around your neck and go. Does it look nerdy? Sure! But who cares? Seriously. It’s a great item.

I bought this item because I'd been having trouble sleeping, and thought it might be due to blue light emitted from my electronic book, which I read nightly before bed. I wanted to try going back to paper-and-ink books, but don't have the greatest reading light beside my bed. After reading reviews and researching, I felt an around-the-neck light was preferable to a clip-on. I'm glad I picked the LuminoLite! It's perfect for reading in bed and I only have to use the lowest light setting. The flexible design makes it easy to adjust to hit the pages just right. However, I found this little light is great for other things as well. My husband's a deer hunter, and he called late in the day to let me know he'd gotten a deer but it was far back in the woods and night was falling. He needed help to bring it to his truck, and I can tell you I wasn't too enthused about walking around in an unfamiliar wooded area at night. Then I remembered my LuminoLite. I threw it around my neck and it certainly didn't disappoint. It was very bright and left my hands free for holding a flashlight for my husband. I had no problems walking thru the woods and seeing clearly. The light holds a charge for a long time. I've been using my light several times a week for a couple of months and even after using it in the woods for 2+ hours, it still fully illuminates. I highly recommend this light, and I think it would be great for doing close work like sewing, knitting or drawing as well.
