I Have Used This Charger For A Camping Trip, To Recharge Our 18650 Li-Ion Batteries (3400mAh). This Did Not Drain The Car Battery, And Appears To Auto-Adjust For The Correct Charging Amperage (Or Manually). Easy To Use, And Appears To Function Well. Displays The Charging Rate And Percentages In Easy To Read Layout, And Cycles Through Charging Rates, Current, And Voltage. Did Come With A 12V Adapter For Mobility, And Is A Necessity While Away From Standard Home Power Receptacles. I Did Not Notice Extremely Warm Temperatures From This Unit While In Operation. This Unit Does Have The Ability To Manually Change The Charging Rates, By Using The Buttons Located Near The Display Above Each Battery, To Increase Or Decrease Amperage. Please Be Certain To Verify The Charging Rate Of Your Batteries Before Charging Them, As Each One Should Have A Specified Rate Of Charge. Refer To Operations Manual For Further Guidance On Using This Feature.

I've only had this charger for 3 days, but so far I'm really pleased with it. The display is very easy to read and informative. The materials seem to be good quality. I love the fact that it can charge different types and sizes of batteries. I've used it on both NiMH and Li-Ion so far. I haven't had is long enough to comment on durability, but given what I've seen so far I'm quite optimistic.

Replaced the amazon basics charger I had. The Amazon basics version I had was a bit confusing to use. This seems to be much more advanced. Love that it Charges AA, AAA, and even 18650 batteries. It indicates how charged the batteries are, and how long they will take to charge. Each battery slot charges independent of the others. So I can charge 3 different types of batteries at the same time.

First impression: the build quality is a pleasant surprise. I just used this to charge up some of my Tenergy batteries and it did the job nicely. It defaults to a slow charge, it opens the circuit when a battery is full, it feeds 18650s and RCR123s on top of AA and AAA, and it will give me the info I need (time and current) to calculate how much charge it feeds so I can monitor my batteries' health. What's not to like?

I have a variety of batteries for e-cigs. This is the best I have, so far. Great user interface, which shows charging progress. The car adapter is also very useful. An improvement needed is a lock- in for charging batteries (which most other chargers also lack), but a simple rubber band solution works. The material is light, so I don't know how rugged it actually is. I've dropped and broken others built similarly.

It works very well, and shuts itself off just like they say. I like the features of the LCD display, especially the voltage reading on each battery. Have charged 20 3.7V batteries each starting with over .75 volts, and all charged great without me watching them. The one I charged that started with .2 volts didn't take a charge, and got very hot very quickly. Definitely listen to the warning about trying to charge completely dead batteries. It does overheat them. I would recommend checking any battery starting at less than .5 volts to see if it is getting hot, before you leave the charger unattended. If they're getting hot, they're dead, and can explode if you continue to try and charge them. If the charger's voltage measure does not go up steadily while charging, it is a sign your battery can't be charged.

I work nights and go through 4-6 AAA batteries a night. This charger is great in showing the batteries charge level and voltage. Another great feature is the 12 volt option of charging. I have a 12 volt solar and wind generator system that this charger works perfect with along with my other 12 volt devices. Then if I ever forgot to charge the batteries, I could charge them while driving to work.

I have had a number of smart chargers that were supposed to be the best you could buy. Maybe they were but using the range of functions was not an easy matter. It charged the batteries but they were not cheap and had some issues where you had to charge the battery on something else before it could be put on the smart charges. This charger works on almost any kind of battery you can think of. I simultaneously charged a few AA as well as those larger batteries you get in the high intensity flashlights. I did not notice that the device got hot and the display cycled through information that was easy to understand. Finally this charger was not nearly as expensive. Perhaps if you are an electrical engineer this might not be for you and the other one that has lots of technical posts about why it is the best might have that function you cannot live without. For me I want it to know what kind of battery I put in the charger, and know when it is fully charged. I also like that I do not have to pair up the batteries that I want charged. With this you could charge 4 different types of batteries. I did not do any electrical testing so if you need detailed information this is not the review for you.

Just received this so have only used it for about half a day but wow what a major upgrade from my last charger. The lcd panel is a great plus as is the car charger adapter it comes with. My old charger was very clunky and sticky when you would push the adjustable legs down to insert the battery but this new charger was so smooth and effortless. no loud creaking spring with this one. Easily able to insert batteries with one hand. I may be wrong but I swear its charging faster than my old unit. Now I just have to wait and see how it holds up. I've got high hopes.

I'm normally bad about doing reviews, but I've had so many bad experiences with battery chargers that when I finally got one that worked and worked consistently without fiddling with it, well, I just had to say something. Making this one even better is the information provided by the readouts. Rather than some blinking idiot light, it actually tries to give you information on a per cell basis about charging current, voltage, and charging time. I don't know, or especially care, just how accurate those numbers are, but even in relative terms it's a win. I've only had this unit for a few months and used it less than a dozen times, so well have to see about it's long-term viability. But it seems quite well made and I have hopes that it will be around for a while.
