This item has a nice look and even though it is not completely welded as shown in the picture the seller was helpful and made sure that I was satisfied as a consumer. I recommend the Black Horse Atlas Roll Bar and TRU Motorsports for your future purchases. Thanks Jorge ****UPDATE**** 9/22/18 This bar was installed per the Instructions with 3 bolts on the inside of the bed on each side. Well today it flew off of my 2017 Toyota Tundra CrewMax. The design for installation on these leave very little room to bolt on maybe a 1/16” of metal on these tundras. All 6 locations had broken the metal due to rough roads causing it to come off. I have reinstalled it but drilled 2 holes on the top of the metal plate in hopes that this will last longer than the first. The item is solid just the way it installs to these Tundras is a major design flaw! I’ll show a picture of where I had to drill holes to install in a more solid location.

I got this for my 2006 f150 fx4 5.5ft bed. I got this thinking that with those tonneau brackets I could install it with my retrax tonneau cover. I soon learned that the tonneau brackets they advertise only works with the tri-folding cover and the original “classic” roll bar model. Extremely upset with the misleading advertising on amazon (or so I feel), I contacted the seller and the gave me Matt’s number (A rep for blackhorse). And let me just say that the blackhorse customer service is amazing. Matt was awesome! He helped me to easily mod the atlas model so it would work with my retrax tonneau cover. They also mailed me an extra bolt that had smashed threads (which I messed up) no questions asked. Bottom line, if you get this your gonna have to have some experience in craftsmanship. I cut the lip off on the bracket (for anchoring on the inside Of the bed) and drill it through the top. I also used rivet nuts to anchor it to the bed rail. So far super study driving on the highway at +75mph and the best part is I can still use my retractable cover. I will update If I have any problems, or when I figure out how to add pics. Update: added my pictures finally.

This is a great rack for a good price. It's built tough. I considered an over the cab cargo basket, but my truck didn't come with factory installed rails so aftermarket rails, and a basket too was just as expensive as this rack, and cargo baskets make whistling noises above 60 MPH that's really annoying.... All the parts were provided, and everything was correctly drilled, and everything fit (I used "lock-tight" too). I didn't like the 3 hours it took me to build it - working alone. Note: build yours in the truck bed because when it's assembled it's heavy to lift! Working alone was frustrating and time consuming. Have some help.... Finally, I was concerned with the rack's total weight, and the 200 LBS of weight it can carry - that's "bolted" into the truck bed. Would it be secure? Yes! It's got 6 large bolts for mounting it to the truck bed. I loaded it with 300 LBS (recommended is 200 ) then drove down the dirt road, and back. No problem, no flexing. Another reviewer suggested "welding" it. If you can then maybe, but I'm not exceeding the recommended weight. I'm satisfied with the 6 bolts holding it. I'm happy with this, and for what it's worth - I recommend it! It looks cool too! "Waneiac" April 2020

I love the way looks super easy to install!

This is one of the best bang for your bucks when it comes to chase racks. I am very pleased with it. If I could change anything about it my lower cross bar, the one with the mount for the black horse plate, was a little tweaked but I still made it work. Figure everything can’t be perfect. It’s also a good platform to build off of. Installed a holder for the light bars and d-shovel now planning on welding a over the cab rack to the black horse rack. I would recommend this rack to all my buddys.

Looks great. However I couldn’t find the tenneau cover roll brackets that fits this size. So basically you are suggesting something that is not a bailable in the market. Now I cannot install my tenneau cover back again.

It was exactly what I was looking for

Got mine at real truck (was a lot cheaper), mine is for 2013 F150 supercrew. The good: very solid, good to great manufacturing quality, looks great. Fit and finish are pretty impressive. You will like it. The bad: My version (for 2013 F150), attaches to the truck bed from inside (not top) with screws that end up in a horizontal position. The lip of the bed wall in that location is between 3/4 to 1 inch, curved at the top. The washers included are 1+ inches, so no way to use them unless you cut off a lip from them to make them fit. Also, minor, but I was missing one of the smaller washers that go in a visible location (behind the side "Black Horse" cutout plate. No biggy, but good luck finding a BLACK washer anywhere. So painted one I had and used it, no biggy but would appreciate a better QC. Very cryptic installation instructions (actually none at all, just a diagram), nothing about wiring since mine came with a brake light. Install took about 3 hours due to additional tweeks needed, but with correcting "the bad" should be 1 hour max. Overall, excellent product. Listing the bad to be used as improvement feedback.

I bought this from ebay but just wanna share some pictures with you. It's really cool roll bar for a truck.

I buy this on eBay same company I got this on open box less price tag , I know the need to be explain better diagram but not that hard hardware is numbered take about 2 hours to put on and get extra cables from home depot to connecting to the stop light
