Great Product. Sturdy. Exact Fit. Easy To Mount.
This well designed tension rod arrived yesterday. I was unable to find a rod that fit sizes between 40" to 43" for our RV, until I found this one out on Amazon. Easy to adjust the length by extending one end of the rod from the other. It is similar to extending an adjustable aluminum cane. Then unscrew the rods further, like you would do most tension rods. Make the rod several inches LONGER than the finished length needed. The heavy duty springs inside allow the rod to compress & that makes it fit tight & stay in place. It has rubberized end caps that prevent scratching up the wall. Sturdy enough to hang your coats or other clothing on without the rod sagging. Very pleased with this purchase.

Wonderful product!
Fabulous is all I can say. I was able to put this up by myself and I am a 70-year-old somewhat disabled woman. It has stayed up and feels snug and strong. I was so done with cheap bars that did not stay up and took all sorts of gymnastics to put up. Twist one way, twist the other way. Ugh. Thanks you Allzone for this wonderful product. I am using it to hold up a shower curtain but it truly has so many uses.

great tension, best rod ever
super-easy to install, and VERY sturdy, even against tile. the BEST shower curtain rod I've ever had to use in the past 25 years... wish I had found something like this sooner. btw, it's really great if you have a drunken house guest who passes out in the shower and pulls on the curtain rod (not recommending it would work for every one, but this saved somebody from a what could've been a nasty fall at least)

Works perfectly!
Works as advertised. Its comes with an extension that in most cases isn't needed for the std width of 60 inches for a shower and the smaller 54 inch opening often seen in a modular home. The detentes work with a push button design than snap firmly into holes on the underside. The holes are in 1/2 inch increments. The tension spring then pushes against where you set the detente. This shower rod does not use a long spring as is most common in older tension rods, but rather this shorter spring and detente system. The only part I would like to see them change is to replace the black collars, that are at each end and also where the telescoping tubes meet, with white. Also, it would be nice if they offered brushed steel or a nickel finish.

Incredible rod!
FINALLY! A shower rod that is not going to fall down in the middle of the night and scare the entire household. This item has a metal button that pops up in a series of holes along the length of the rod and a spring inside the rod that creates the tension. It even comes with an extension rod, nice to have just in case your opening isn't quite standard width. The end caps include a pliable material that grabs the surface without leaving a mark. This is the best shower curtain rod I have ever seen - and I've wasted money on a slew of rods that ended up in the trash.

GREAT PRODUCT & FANTASTIC CUSTOMER SERVICE
I purchased this rod for my shower curtain. As soon as the rod arrived in the mail I immediately went to installing it. I followed the directions provided. Little was I to know that I was about to set up a one-in-a-million situation. The mechanism that shortens and lengthens the rod was found to be faulty. I do not put the blame when the manufacturer or the seller. It's just one of those things that happen. I would be lying if I said I wasn't upset because I was. The only contact provided to the seller was by email. So I immediately dispatched an email explaining the situation. The situation was resolved within 24 hours. They immediately rushed a replacement rod by 2-day Express. The replacement rod arrive perfect. The product performs as advertised and I'm looking forward to many happy years with this product. I wish Amazon would provide an extra Star for customer service support. I shop alot on Amazon and this was the FASTEST resolution to a problem for any product I purchased. Don't hesitate purchasing this rod because if you do you will be passing up a quality product.

Great Product!!
I purchased two different sizes of this curtain rod, one for 48+ inches and the 28-41 inches. I love the fact that the spring inside the ride is heavy duty and that there are positioning holes for extension. The longer of the two rods holds two curtains in my classroom where the window is about 60 inches wide. The sides of the windows only have about 3/4" space for the rod to be placed. The ends of the rod contain rubber that grips onto the sides very well. I have had these curtains up for about three weeks now and they are firmly staying in place. The shorter rod is for my son's dorm room window. We haven't used it yet; however, I have placed in my doorway to display the curtains going in his room and I am very satisfied with the quality and durability of the rod. I am sure my son will not have any problems with his curtains (not that he would care, its a mom thing). Overall, I would purchase more of these rods and feel for the price you are getting a good quality product that will last a long time.

Easy to install and adjust the tension
I bought these to hang 2 outdoor curtains and they work FABULOUSLY! Easy to install and adjust the tension. I really liked that they lock into the length you want. I also bought the 43-83" one and plan to hang more outdoor curtains with this product.

Easiest Curtain Rods I ever installed
I used 2 of the 43-80" rods to put up sheers on my porch. There are so amazingly easy to set up, look fabulous and sturdy to boot. I would highly recommend if you want to avoid drilling holes for curtains. I feel I could put up a much heavier curtain and they would work just as well. Extremely happy!!!

Sturdy Curtain Rod
I bought this rod in three different sizes. I had a 36" window, a 107" window, and a standard tub. I'm using this rod to hold up heavy duty blackout curtains in my home office, and I'm using the standard size rod to hold my shower curtain & liner in the bathroom. The instructions are the same for all of them, and they're not exactly clear. If you have extender rods, put everything together in this order: the rod with the holes, then the rod with the spring, then all extenders on the other end of the rod with the spring. (The instructions tell you that it's important to put the thing together correctly, and then utterly fail to tell you how to do so.) The pole we're using for the 107" opening is sagging just a little bit in the middle, but there's still plenty of tension on the rod. All three rods are holding their respective curtains well, and haven't fallen or slipped at all yet. The blackout curtains are fairly heavy too, so these things are doing a great job. Note: If using this for a shower curtain, you're going to want to do a couple things: - First, make sure you install the rod with the holes facing down. Otherwise the pin that holds the spring in place will be sticking straight up, so all of your curtain holders will catch on it every time you try to open or close the curtain. - Second, make sure you put the "bump" where to two poles come together on the side that you DO NOT open your curtain from. If you open your shower curtain from the left, make sure the bump is towards the right side. - Finally, use clear plastic tape around the joint to create a smoother "ramp" surface. This keeps the curtain holders from catching on it as much, so you can open and close the curtain more easily. I will say I found an unexpected advantage with this pole: It's so much more quiet! I previously had a metal pole and metal curtain holders, and you could hear someone opening the shower curtain from outside the house. It's so quiet now, very nice!
