Needed replacement movements for a couple of clocks and this unit fit the need perfectly.

These things aren't easy to find in a store. Got an old cat clock working again. The black hands are real easy to see across the room.

The most pleasant surprise was that it is absolutely quiet, since the previous mechanism had an annoying click in a quiet house. The hands were long enough to look clumsy on my oblong clock face, but they were easily trimmed to fit exactly. It's critical to check that no part of any hand comes in contact with the next one, since this is easily done while adjusting them. I'll defer judgment on durability until 5-10 years from now.

We had a small clock in our living room that stopped keeping time, the wife was upset thinking we were going to have to replace it since she's had it for years and I was upset thinking I was going to have to spend $$$ on a new clock! I swapped this mechanism in about 10 minutes tops, the clock keeps great time and is far more quiet than the original movement, well worth the money! The new hands looked great, but I used the old ones as they seemed to fit perfectly as well.

I inherited a couple of old clocks that the old batteries had corroded or they stopped working for whatever reason. I bought (3) of these clock works and I replaced the guts with these little guys. Now, they all work like new. I'm actually very impressed. They work great, haven't lost any time, and they're quiet too. Good job.

When I got this mechanism it would work sometimes. I contacted the seller and they had me check the second hand to make sure it wasn't too tight in addition to offering to replace it. Their suggestion worked and I'm a happy customer. I would recommend the company and the product. Thanks

nice little movement. especially since it sweeps instead of tick each second.

Bought this to replace a movement that died in a favorite clock. This movement was the exact dimensions of the old one so it was easy to install quickly. I didn't use the second hand and thought that I had received a broken mechanism. I actually had to press the movement against my ear to hear it running--that's how quiet it is. Works great so far--keeps accurate time. Very pleased.

Very very good product, with two problems. I threw an hour at Walmart and Michael's trying to teach their people what "movement" means, but finally just ordered it from Amazon. Problem A was that instructions say to attach the hour hand and "press lightly". There was nothing "light" about it. We pushed and pushed. Hard. Problem B was that you only get one set of hands. Once you take scissors and cut the hour hand down, you can only regret that you cut it too short. I should have marked it, and then put the clock back together, just to see if my mark was correct. Measure twice . . . Our clock is a non-fancy heirloom belonging to my 91 year old aunt. We just wanted to make it run again. Very good product for very good price!

I've installed a couple of these in dead clocks over the years and they work perfectly. Smooth and quiet movement and always accurate.
