Great family game

I didn’t know anything about this game but my son really wanted it for a weekend visit from the grandparents. We’ve since played with friends too. Everyone has loved it! Lots of laughs. Very innocent...only innuendo is the title. I will say that although the concept it technically very easy, seven may be a little young to “get” it. My particular 10 year old is very unobservant and unsubtle and although enjoyed it, wasn’t the best partner. 😬

The Oatmeal, back at it again!

Distrust, keeping your nerve, false accusations...what could possibly go wrong? This game keeps everyone on their toes. Don't start if you're between distractions (cooking, letting the dogs out, TV on in the background, etc.) because every second counts and YOU WILL LOSE IF YOU'RE NOT PAYING ATTENTION! As always, Matthew Inman's cartoons are ripe with wacky characters and silly puns. You'll have a blast if you win, you'll curse your friends if you lose.

Is it dumb to spend this much on an extra card & claws?

NOPE. This addition makes the game infinitely more fun and hilarious, assuming you don't have to wear the hands. 5 stars also for the very detailed claws. Truly amazing. Unfun serious FYI: the claws are made of latex, so make sure all players are allergy-free!

I LOVE You've Got Crabs

I LOVE You've Got Crabs! It's the perfect addition to our party game collection, easy enough to play with beginners, but still super fun for everyone. Even though the title is (hilariously) suggestive, we played with our 8-year-old nephew and he was none the wiser ;) We also got the imitation crab expansion kit which requires players to wear giant awkward rubber crab claws, so i recommend you pick that up too!

Hilarious and fun for all ages! We had a great time playing this with our kids and our adult family members. Everyone loved it and had a great time. One of the best party games we have.

A great partner game for families or groups!

This game is hilarious! You partner up and try to make 4 of a kind. Easy enough for most school aged kids to get and so hilarious to try to get 4 of a kind with your partner. You have to call out "You've got Crabs!" when your partner gives you the signal that they have 4 of a kind in their hand. Or catch others trying to signal and steal their crabs. Add on the Imitation Crab card and claws for an even tougher challenge! This is a staple for our big family events, when we can get 3-4 teams together to play. Usually 30-45 min to play.

Besides the apparently funny puns and sexual innuendo of the name, You've Got Crabs is Kemps but better. I wouldn't recommend the regular game without these gloves because they make the party. When you see someone fumbling and bumbling around with these gloves in acting like a crab; Everyone will laugh and be excited to pick up the wildcard first to put on the gloves! Beware of dropping your cards with your claws though as picking up a flat card is challenging but fair. These gloves will make you laugh like crazy and really bring the game into its own. Sturdy construction with realistic gloves. These would make a great Zoidberg Cosplay as well.

Best Family Game Ever!

My family regularly has "Sunday Funday" which includes board or card games. Even though my kids are grow, we still get together as often as possible, often bringing their friends over for movies, food, and games. They were a little apprehensive that "You've Got Crabs" would be too kiddie, but it isn't. It is absolutely hilarious. But the expansion pack, with the crab claws, really makes the game. This game is unique in that people of all ages will enjoy it, truly. Best game purchase in years. But get the game and the claw expansion.

This game is sooo fun! I bought it to play while we had family in town and it's great for ages 6 and up. So much fun! Definitely buy the expansion pack!!

Hilarious addition to base game

I can't imagine playing You've Got Crabs the normal way ever again. There's nothing quite like watching your friends hastily put on these crab claws and then attempt to greedily scoop up the other cards that they need.
