As described works very good ,voice prompts tell you when connected, snd excrllent range. I am using for Audio with Glass Toslink optics very good . Customer support a bit slow with knowing the product can take you 24 hours yo get a answer. Call on the phone ,you may get a good tech .

OMG! This is the first tech item I have bought in the last five years wherein the font used in the included manual sheet is actually of a size readable by the human eye. OMG! They spent the extra 2/10 of a cent and produced a separate page for each of the covered languages. Absolutely nothing more pissmeoffish than having to hunt down a magnifying glass each time I decide to do the very un-dudeish thing of reaching for documentation. Oh yea. Everything else seems to work perfectly as well. My system is opto out of the TV to the Oasis Plus and then opto out to my soundbar. Fast connects bluetooth to my headsets too and never seems to glitch. I am skeptical of the claimed 100+foot range, but it easily covers more than three time my max TV viewing range. Just one problem. My (non aptX) ear buds lag behind the the speaker bar (which is optical all the way) by a fraction of a second. Sounds like a echo chamber. I don't notice it with my BT headset... but then, I can't hear my wife and that's apparently also a problem. Time to upgrade my BT ear buds to low latency aptX. If your buying a complete TV audio setup, keep this in mind and spent the extra 10% for aptX.

OK-I don't like to admit it, but my hearing isn't a good as it used to be. Frequently, my wife and I struggle to find the right volume on the TV OK, I hate to admit it, but my hearing is not what it used to be. My wife and I struggle to find a TV volume which is acceptable to both. I looked for a solution to allow my wife to listen to the TV and to allow me to hear what's being said. I thought "Bluetooth", but our TV isn't Bluetooth enabled. Then I discovered the Avantree Oasis Plus and ordered it. At first, I was doubtful but after a 5-minute installation, all my doubts disappeared. This product is amazing. The voice guided Bluetooth connection allows me to listen to our TV via my Apple AirPods. The sound is great and it's very convenient to connect to the TV. Thanks for saving my marriage. Thank you for saving my marriage!

I was very hesitant to purchase this unknown brand, but it had all the bells and whistles I was looking for at such a reduced price I could't resist. Out of the box and connected with the supplied optical cable and micro USB power cable to my Yamaha A-S801 and within a minute my phone was verified connected through voice prompts from the little transmitter/receiver after switching the unit on and setting to RX (receive) mode. Opened my favorite music app, Poweramp, and started playing a high resolution (24 bit 192kHz) flac file. Played instantly with no issues across the 30' room. I then took the phone outside to get an idea of range with the same file. I got roughly 80' away before starting to have issues with the signal. Keep in mind that this was not line-of-site and I was very happy with the result, especially at this sampling rate. Adding a second devise was easy enough, just pressed the front Bluetooth symbol and the voice prompt let me know it was in paring mode. Accessed my tablet's Bluetooth settings and was nearly instantly paired. This device appears to be exactly what I was looking for.

I have a hearing problem, I don't like to wear hearing aids watching TV, so I had previously purchased an avantree bluetooth headphones which was great ,I used headphones and my family used external speakers which were both plugged into the headphone jack via a splitter. however when I upgraded to a new Samsung 4 smart tv I was unable to use my headphones as there was no way to get a signal.as now no new tv's have headphone Jacks or auxiliary Jacks. After a lot of research I found this product again by avantree which matched with the headphones. So they arrived today as always early from amazon. So it was smaller than I expected but that's great, I made the mistake of confusing myself with the instructions which are a little bit lacking. In the end I followed with common sense and had it up and running perfectly in minutes. So I have a sound bar for the family which can be muted or as loud as they like and I get to choose my volume which is louder than I had with the old setup. So I am very happy with the new setup and I highly recommend it to anyone who has hearing problems.

Works on my Analog 1974 Marantz receiver. Took longer to unpack than to install. Itdoes require one 3.5mm cable to RCA cable not included. Pictured. I used a wall dc power unit. I walked out doors and across the street about 125 to 150 feet. Signal is fantastic, using bose wireless.

Performs as advertised. Was a little tricky getting my two separate Bose QC35 II headphones to connect at the same time, but now know you connect them one after the other, then turn off the first pair to get sound to come out of the second pair, then turn back on the first pair, to get sound through both. Also, there were numerous comments about a delay or lag in audio when watching HD, HDR, or Blueray video. There is zero lag/delay in audio for me, and I have tried numerous video formats from standard TV to the highest quality, UHD, QHD, HDR, etc., formats. The pass through audio feature is perfect for playing over my "whole house" Bose audio without having to change wires or switches when alternating between playing over headphones and playing over the audio system. Good range on the bluetooth signal also. P.S. Thier customer support is very friendly and responsive. Some of the best customer service I have experienced.

I am sold on Bose but have a combination of older non-Bluetooth Lifestyle systems and newer Bose Bluetooth speakers and sound bars. I connected one of these Avantree Oasis Plus aptX HD devices to my Onyx Plus satellite receiver as the "transmitter" and multiple other Avantree transmitter/receivers as "receivers" to connect my 2 pre-Bluetooth Bose Lifestyle home systems to satellite radio. The transmitter allows me to also listen to satellite radio via our Bose 700 Bluetooth Soundbar and surround speakers in our home theater one level below the location of the transmitting Avantree's location in our home. My wife and son also enjoy playing their tunes through various zones of our home from their iPods and phones. This Avantree set up worked so well for me that I bought 2 more of these devices for my office at work. We beam one transmitter to a Bose Soundlink Mini with Bluetooth out at my secretary's desk and beam to another Avantree device set to receive, hooked to my Bose Acoustic Wave AUX input. Now my secretary and I can both enjoy satellite radio. I have now purchased 5 total Avantree Oasis Plus aptX HD transmitter/receivers and have no regrets. Would buy another 5 if I needed them.

I own two BOSE SoundLink On-Ear headsets and needed a BT transmitter to watch TV with my husband. This transmitter is my 3rd attempt using a BT transmitter and it WORKS with zero issues. First Two: TaoTronics BT Transmitter with TOSLINK Optical failed because it would only work with a 3.5 mm cable; the digital optical port simply did NOT work. My parents own the same model and they have the same problem with the optical port - it doesn't work. ARCHEER w/ TOSLINK Optical failed because it worked for five minutes, then it bugged up with pairing issues. It became impossible to pair two headsets at the same time. Third try is the charm. My LG OLED TV's HDMI ARC port is in use with the sound bar/speaker system, with an additional an Optical Out for sound. This is the port I'm using with the Avantree Oasis Plus transmitter. Right out of the box, not a single issue. It hooked up within a few minutes and my BOSE SoundLink headphones immediately paired without a snag. I paired the second set of headphones, no snag either. Even though BOSE is not recommended for use with this transmitter because it doesn't support aptX, I found no latency issues at all when running both headsets at the same time. We watched 4K programming last night and the transmitted audio sync'd well with close-up dialogue. I am willing to order 2 pairs of Avantree low latency headphones *if* a latency issue pops up, but so far it's simply not necessary. (I see a review where there's latency issues with the BOSE SoundSport Free headphones, but I think it's a problem with that headphone model because a software patch is coming out in July 2018 to fix the SoundSport latency issues.) What to expect when pairing two headsets: Pair the first set to get audio transmission. Then when you pair the second set, the first set will temporarily cut out for a few seconds during the second set pairing process. Once the second pair connects you'll get audio back on the first set.

This thing is awesome. So for a while now, I was looking for something to connect to my receiver that powers my outdoor speakers. The reason is I have a big shade that covers my sliding window in my backyard. I have used this with my projector to watch movies. But getting the sound to my receiver mean running a long wire. Or connecting my Klipsch GIG speaker to it. It works. But not the best sound for the big screen. I have 2 Klipsch AW-650 already so why not use those? With this Bluetooth Transmitter Receiver I can do just that. It has good range and connects no problem. So I can finally watch movies outside for the summer.
