Read for shattered screen

It works perfectly! It's like a brand new ipad! I recommend this to anyone. I just suggest being gentle with the tech. It took me a couple hours, so a little longer than other reviewers because my screen was COMPLETELY shattered, so i did spend a little extra time removing the fiber glass..but if you warm ot up with a blow drter for a min or so, it somes right off using the tools. I had everything i needed. The only suggestion I'd make for someone with a shattered screen is glasses to cover eyes and gloves for the small pieces of fiber glass.

Easy to replace

This was my first screen replacement so I wasn’t too sure at first. After finding a good video, it went excellent. We have a just like new iPad again! The home button works like the original did, and is nice and clear. Will definitely order again.

Great product!

I’m quite happy with the product thus far. I’ve never changed out an iPad screen before and today I changed out 2. The only hard part is getting the old glass off. The actual install of the new glass is quite easily accomplished. The tools were adequate, though I wish there was a guide for which tool does what. So far there are no issues with functionality and the screen seemed to be very durable during the install. I even had to pry at the top after the first install to line up the front camera correctly. Well worth the money and time. Saved me around $200.

Good quality for the price

I bought two refurbished ipads on amizon and one had a pretty lousy digitizer, which cracked right away. I bought two of these and put them on the refurbished ipads and they are better than when I first bought them.

DIY iPad repair a success... the second time around.

Pros: Feiyue's screen replacement worked as intended on our 1st Gen iPad air. Better range of tools provided with this kit than the first one I bought from another vendor. Adhesive tape already applied to screen. Prompt on time delivery. Saved $ over shop repair. Cons: No instructions of any kind, not even online. This was also true of the other vendor's screen replacement that I first purchased and on which I tore one of the ribbons while trying to remove the adhesive tape after attaching the cables - DO NOT DO THIS, remove the tape on the side of the ribbon cables before attaching them, you'll save yourself a world of pain and $. Notes: I can't speak to the durability of this screen, its only been a couple of days but so far so good. I did have difficulty in one spot where the adhesive doesn't seem to be sticking, but it's barely noticeable. Replacing a screen requires patience and attention to detail and 30 to 45 minutes of your time not including research on step by step instruction for first timers.

Good Screen Cheap Tools

Not my first time replacing an Ipad screen. The screen works great , it comes with screen protector that way you can peel it back before placing ipad screen down so no finger prints or lint ect. is on it which is very helpful. I have bought a different brand and the tools seems a lot better than these. The tools are cheap feeling but got the job done. After finishing I have no use for them anyways. The adhesive seemed good and covered all areas. Overall great purchase.

Will never go to a place to have a screen fixed again!! Wonderful product

I was skeptical at first but my husband replaced the broken screen on my iPad in less then 15mins and it looks great! Wonderful product and it saved me a fortune because my local electronic repair place said it would cost me $175 bucks to get it fixed!

Definitely worth it!

Just got my screen in the mail. Searched online for how to replace it and it works! My screen was all cracked everywhere. Make sure you take the time to scrape all the old adhesive. The micro fiber cloth is super tiny so you may want to have another on hand and there is more adhesive on the home key wires. Pull the covering off to make sure it doesn't show on your screen. 20 bucks well spent!

Worth the Money

Arrived on time and all components were easy to use. I watched a YouTube video during the installation and the videos was actually doing extra steps that I didn’t need to take because the home button and camera was already attached for me so that was a major plus. But the adhesive could be a bit more sticky so that it’s not easily able to be pulled up even after a few days so that’s the only down fall I can mention.. And they give you more tools than you would ever need... another plus!!!!!
