Heavy Duty Saucepan; measurements included

I absolutely LOVE this product. It's lightweight, holds in the heat, which doesn't radiate through the handle, easy to clean and the stainless steel adds a little extra elegance to my cookware. My favorite feature of this product is the fact that the measurements are INSIDE of the saucepan, up to 1.75 quarts, no more measuring! That was a BRILLIANT addition to the already well described Nickel Free product. No regrets with this product, out with the old and in with the new!

Great quality, great company!

This is a very high quality sauce pan. It conducts heat very well, is fairly easy to clean (it's stainless, so need a little bit of elbow grease...but just a little and it's well worth it), and the weight is spot on. The handle fits perfectly in the hand and is a bit heavier, which makes for a great balance. I really appreciate that it's stainless, so there's no chemical concerns. I've bought Homi Chef before and will not hesitate to purchase their products in the future. Highly recommended!

High quality!

This is a great little saucepan! It's sturdy and cooks food very evenly. I love that it's stainless steel and nickel free. The size is perfect for reheating leftovers, cooking up a sauce, or making a side of rice. The measurements are on the inside, like many of the Homi Chef pans, which I find very helpful for knowing what size of bowl I need for leftovers. :) Also, the Homi Chef steamer insert (which I already owned, and is sold separately) fits perfectly inside this pan. I've found Homi Chef to have high quality products and fantastic customer service and will continue buying from them.

Best pan Ive seen anywhere near this price

excellent all the way around. Beefy handle of solid metal, solid molded rivet attachment (not spot welded like some others ahem), Rugged glass top with sculpted metal rim for perfect seal, riveted-through-the-glass solid top handle, state-of-the-art stainless alloy, perfect balance. WOW. I've been using for a week now and it's my favorite go-to pan for induction or stove top cooking -It heats noticeably faster than my other SS ware. I hope these guys make more pans as good as this one. I am a metallurgist so I know they have done a design achievement here. BUY IT.

The saucepan you shouldn’t live without

I had never heard of Homichef until my sister put one on her Christmas list. With their reasonable prices I bought myself one because I needed a small sized saucepan. I absolutely love this mirror finish. I usually prefer the matted finish but this pot is gorgeous, which honestly I didn’t expect. It has etched measuring lines which none of my other pots have making it so functional. The cherry on top is the lid, with a beautiful see through glass and steel finish, I can now keep on eye on the food without having to touch the pot and letting all the heat out. Finally a pot that matches aesthetics with functionality. I’m really picky with the pots and pans I use, so much so that I refuse to buy sets because I truly believe that each pot has to be made for its purpose. I can see myself using many of these because of how sturdy they are built and how evenly it heats and cooks. Highly recommend!

Beautiful and nice quality

The first thing I noticed about the saucepan was that it is really beautiful. It looks and feels like high quality cookware. I love the glass lid that allows me to see inside while cooking as well. An added bonus were the measurements on the inside of the pan. I don’t typically go by quarts or liters; however, it’s nice to have that guideline. I LOVE the handle. It feels really wonderful and is much more comfortable to hold than my very expensive All Clad saucepan. The thickness of the sides of the pan are slightly thinner than my previous saucepan, but I don’t see that as an issue at all. It still feels nice, sturdy, and really high quality. It’s slightly lighter in weight but I like that. It's also a breeze to clean. I was worried it would be harder to clean due to it not having nickel, but it's no problem at all. I cook rice cereal or oats in a small saucepan every morning for my 2-1/2 year old and I’ve always been a bit worried about nickel slowly leaching into his food. If he’s anything like me, he will have a problem with nickel and I want to avoid his exposure at all costs. I’m so happy to have this pan now and will be cooking all future breakfasts and other foods in this Homi Chef saucepan!

Great Pan

The 1.75 qt. pan is amazing. It arrived within the time frame they said it was going to. When I opened the box it came with a welcoming note and instuctions on how to maintain the product. They said to make sure to wash it properly before using and gave other tips to help extend the life of the product if the consumer so choose to do. It also comes with a Cleanser and Polish if it gets a really tough stain and you want to make it nice and shiny again. I've never seen a company care about their products as much HOMICHEF. It also comes with a Product Manual and explains what the pan is made of how to take care of it and explains the warranty. The pan is lightweight but very durable, it looks like it would be heavier than it is. There is nice measuring lines on the inside of the pan for volume. I really like the fact the handle is riveted on the pan. The handle is a nice thickness - easy to hang onto and grab. We have used the pan a few times now and we are amazed at how evenly the heat is distributed throughout the pan. We have tried different kinds of foods just to see if it failed at some parts and not others and we are very impressed with the pan. Food hasn't been stuck on the pan afterwards, it was easy to clean. Overall we are very impressed with how the company stands behind their products and the pan itself. Would recommend this pan to people

Perfect small sauce pan.

Outstanding sauce pan. This is the perfect size for soup/ramen/homemade sauces. The directions for first time use should be followed, once that is done the pan is ready for daily use. Testing for proper temp with the bouncing water drop is a fun and accurate measure of achieving perfect cooking temperature. My first use was sauteing onions, they came out fragrant, golden toned, and almost transparent. Delicious. Next was tomato sauce from scratch, three hours with no scorching or sticking to the pan, fantastic flavor. Final test was boiling water for hard boiled eggs. Quick boil with no hot spots, even temperature and the tight fitting lid kept the temperature even. The clean up after use was easy, no left over bits of food stuck to the pan after the soap and water bath. The pan is easy to maintain a constant temperature and the glass lid makes adding more liquid (if needed) easy. Overall this is a great addition to my pots and pans and the customer service is the very best I have experienced.

pleasantly surprised with this sauce pan

I opened the box and was impressed with its appearance. Then I picked it up and really liked the feel and weight of the pan. Made a couple of sauces, cooked some pasta, and boiled hot dogs in the pan. Worked great. Heat distribution on the bottom of the pan was nicely even. I even like the numbering system (in quarts) on the inside. Measurements in cups would have been nice on the other side. Due to the size of the pan, I can't see cooking large dishes in it. But for what it was intended for- sauces or small dishes, vegetables- it works very well. Easy to clean- fill with water for a few minutes and caked on sauce came off easy. This particular line of pans is nickel-free, but to me, that was a just a perk. I love to cook, and this is an extremely useful pan.

Seems to be good quality at a very reasonable price.

A fraction of the price I paid for other sets. Pot feels heavy duty and sturdy. I love the clear lids and the measurement lines inside the pot. Cooks evenly and much faster than non-stick cookware. Cleans up nicely hand washing and My children have accidentally thrown in the dishwater. Came out spotless. I have A full set of Emeril’s all clad stainless cookware- I love them however some complain they are very heavy. This pot is a little lighter but cooks in the same fashion. I’ll update as time progresses if any rusting occurs. As of now- very happy with this purchase.
