How to adjust crotch strap.

I just received this car seat today and I was having an extremely difficult time getting the crotch strap moved. I ended up going out to YouTube and found a video that was a huge help so I thought I would share some tips. 1st. Pull the padding away so that the crotch Buckle is easy to access. 2nd. Hold the buckle so that there is no slack in the material that is threaded through the seat. 3rd. While holding the strap taut, push the side of the metal bracket through the slit in the seat. Note: only push enough of the corner of the bracket to get through. If you try and push too much of the bracket through at one time the material will bunch up. With this method I literally had the crotch buckle uninstalled and reinstalled in 3 minutes! I hope my instructions were clear enough but if not go on YouTube and search for "Graco Nautilus car seat crotch Buckle removal" by broncoboxer... Wonderful! With that being said I have not installed the seat nor have I use it yet. I will update my post if I find that I dislike the car seat in a few months.

Amazing all around

Ok lets get it straight, waaaaay easier then britex car seats. If you think this is hard then maybe you should take some car seat classes. There r proper ways to install a car seats and if it fits it works right? Wrong. I installed this car seat in about 4 minutes. My 2 year old even enjoys it better then the britex car seat. I rate this as best car seat on the market fir the comfort, price, and how stupid easy it is to install. If you are having a hard time installing it then your other car seats are installed wrong too.

Great Car Seat

We purchased two of these. The car seat is heavy, even though you can remove them and move them to another vehicle--we sure didn't want to do that on a regular basis. We are very comfortable with the quality and security of this car seat. Our just-turned three-year-old likes it better than the one he outgrew. He can see around him and he is safe and secure. He likes to buckle the buckle that goes across his chest, we do the final middle anchor/buckle. Cup holder is a good size. Fabric is durable. We have used both now for over 6 months without any issues. I have removed the seat from my SUV a few times (while moving furniture) and it was not too hard...you need muscle strength :-)

Great product and best price I could find!

Just received the new car seat for the little one he is 1year and 6months we adjusted to his size easy to install looks great and he likes seating on it hoping this is the last seat we have to buy for him.

In Graco you can always trust

I only buy Graco and it’s worth the money. This car seat design is flawless, if I need to adjust it for another child to ride in my sons seat it does it in a snap. The cup holder is on the right which is amazing because he doesn’t hit it or knock it off everytime he gets in. The sides are high and it’s super soft padding.

Exceeded expectations!

Amazing car seat and I got for like $60 less than in Walmart. The quality is there, it’s sturdy, feels very safe and is comfortable. My son loves it! There are nifty little side pockets that I just know will be full of crumbs and old chicken nuggets pretty soon but would also be useful to store extra pacis or small toys so they’re not flying all over the car. So far, obsessed with this seat. It’s slim design and convertibility are just what i was looking for.

Suggestions for easier tightening of latch belts.

I've had three of these before for my older grandchildren, and now just purchased a 4th for the baby. I just wanted to recommend a solution for tightening latch belt. I actually sit in the seat to fully tighten. Much better angle to pull strap, and seat gets pushed down further to tighten fully. It is a pain in the rear for a minute, but once it's in, it's in. Obviously since it's my 4th one, I do like the seats. Fit in my van well, and the kids can use it for the remainder of their time in boosters.

Good, solid car seat

Overall, I love this carseat! My son was super excited to finally switch from a rear-facing seat to this one. This is our family's 2nd Graco seat, and I can attest that cleaning it can be a little chore to remove every cushion piece. On the flipside, everything comes apart pretty straightforward, and we can toss it right into the washer. The new design of having a single latch to secure the seat belt is nice. The old design of having to secure the seat belt twice was good, but it was an extra hassle. The drawback is that the new latch is buried under the cushion for the backrest. The only other drawback is the size. It's nice and wide for comfort, but that is it's own drawback if you are looking to the future and need to put 3 across.

Great for off-road use

Bought these to keep my kids safe while trail riding and they are really great seats. Lots of cushion and side protection. I looked at other cheaper seats, but am happy I spent a little more and went with these. They install great with a standard seatbelt and lock down tab to keep the belt tight. Very easy to take in and out.

Love it so bought 3

This is the BEST seat once your little one is front facing. Easy to install, comfortable for long trips and will last for YEARS. We have 3, seats now between myself and my mother in laws cars. My 25lb two year old just got her first one and she LOVES that it matches her big brother who is a 45lb five year old. This will be the last car seat we will need!
