Excellent purchase
Really love this product. The top of my aquarium, where the light shines from ,the plastic had become covered with lime or something and it was a yellowish color light. Tried to get a new aquarium cover but it was almost as expensive as buying a whole new tank. With this, I can turn off that light and go with a rainbow of colors. These are perfect. Crisps lighting, nice colors. Makes my tank look a lot more expensive. And it brightens up the tank and room. Plus love the remote control. I can kinda show off when friends come by. These lights can also be used as decorations for a party or to just add color to a room by adding them to a mirror. You can use these lights to decorate a buffet table or a desert table. Just put the lights under a white table cloth. I noticed to that my decorations(which are neon) change colors when the different lights hit them. And I noticed that it seems to be a more natural light. I also have my lights on a timer.

Best light for a 5 gallon betta tank.
This is the absolute best little light for my 5 gallon betta tank. I've put it on the outside using the suction cups, lights pointed down. I love the remote and all the different lighting set ups. My fish is very happy, I use the blue to wake up to first thing in the morning, then switch to a brighter color during the day, then back to blue to wind down before sleep. The blue is also good for my plants. I highly recommend this light for smaller tanks.

Great quality light
Best and most affordable LED light. The rod at first looked too small for my 20 gallon tank. But once you place it in there, it’s just enough light. All of the lights work, white, blue, red, green, etc. Tip: the closer you place the light to the water line, the better it will illuminate your tank.

Fish Friendly
I enjoy the product, but what is more important is that the fish seem to enjoy it as well. Prior to purchasing this, we had the standard hood lamp...which was so bright that the fish seemed to cower and want to swim to the shade, With this product, they seem to be out and about swimming and not so much swimming for shade. Our Placo even seems to get out during the day a bit more than usual. We also like the fact that the colors can change. It is truly worth the price paid.

It's great that you can dim the light during the night ...
Small enough to fit on the tank side and gives enough light for the whole 50 gal tank! My Betta likes it because he can go to the far end if its too bright. It's great that you can dim the light during the night hours and still have the Tetras shine. I really like this light. You will not be disappointed.

Great Product, Great Price, Great Service
I have four of these now and they all work well. The product is well made and works as described. I have one positioned on top of the tank lid and three in another tank that are submerged under the water line. They all work well. The colors are spot on. I posted a question to the seller asking about the possibility of an outdoor version for my lawn pond and received a prompt, courteous response that answered my question. No, they don't have an outdoor rated version, bummer. This appears to be one of those sellers that is doing everything right and really wants their customers to be satisfied. If you are looking for tank lighting, this is the product you want. You will be happy with this one.

Great little light for the money!
More colors and modes that I'll ever need - but they are there and work perfectly! The suction cups work like crazy, and will keep the fixture attached to glass. I deliberately got a light about 1/2 the length of my aquarium for gentle lighting, for my Beta. At full intensity, this is a nice, moderate light in his standard five gallon glass aquarium. The light can be turned down to just a soft, dim twilight too. The remote works perfectly, and produced an amusing side benefit. The aquarium is in my office, and I play soft music on my early generation iPod Nano, in an older iHome dock. When I got the iHome dock, it was used, and I never knew that it had originally come with a remote control - until I accidentally turned it on with the aquarium light remote. Now I can turn on and off both things in my office at the same time! LOL! I'm very happy with this little light, and will use this same size in a rimless nano cube with a glass cover - and I will get the larger sizes for m big aquariums. They will look great providing illumination from angles that would not be possible with fixed location lights.

Nice light! Love the colors, options, and price!
I had a short circuit in my original canopy light and decided to take a chance on this one as a replacement. Glad I did! Overall the light is bright and being able to dim it at night is wonderful. The black light turned all the way down simulates moonlight which is a feature available on lights costing several hundred dollars. The remote features a few neat settings that fade colors in and out or even flash colors randomly. The suction cups are a little weak when attached to plastic but on glass the hold is very strong. The light can be turned in any direction which is nice if your looking to highlight different areas of your tank. No complaints. Highly recommend to anyone trying to add color or replace a standard light setup.

It's not super bright but more soft and natural looking.
I bought two of these. I purchased the 7.5" for my 10 gallon and the 11" for my 29 gallon bow front tanks. They are both great. The plug and receiver have a bit of a cheap feel to it but it seems fine. It's basically an LED strip inside a glass tube capped off with rubber. It's design is very similar to a submersible heater. The instructions are pretty easy and submersible part of the power cord is pretty lengthy. The lights themselves are bright and has nice colors. The color selection is good I just find the flashing pointless. I went from using a florescent bulb so the tank was always very brightly lit. So to transition to these the tanks seem a bit darker..BUT......it has a much more natural look or that look when you go to a real aquarium. The frist two picture are the 7.5" in 10 gallon tank and the next tow (purpleish blue) is the 11" in a 29 gallon. BOTTOM LINE: All place want to charge you $50 and up for an LED light that rests on top of your tank. For the price that you pay for these and the quality you get from it...its a no brainer. I highly recommend these.
