Cool light. It looks purple in the pic but it’s actually more neon blue. The fish like it. Works great. Worth the money.

I used this light for the inside of my shadow box to give it a cool effect to my project. I still have my project and it lights up and provides a nice glow. This is for fish tanks, but I used for crafts. I also purchased the flame lights from amazon for the fire look effect. This is a broken electric fireplace I designed a shadow box with Being retired, I create many crafts with my grand kids. This light will last a very LONG time and worth the money. Think outside the box, and use this light for crafting! K Jones Bay City MI

Light was exactly what I needed! I have a small 5 gallon planted tank with a much more expensive light that has a timer that fades on and off, but it developed this odd habit of flashing on and off if I had the white lights on. So I got this and it is nice and bright and I think the plants will love it! Great price and the suction cups stuck perfectly to the hood of my tank. Thanks for a quality product at a low price!

I was very sceptical of buying this light, but after receiving the light and installing it in the tank. Not only does my daughter love it, but so does the whole family! It's perfect for her small tank in her room.

I am not an aquarium pro, don't have much interest in all the super fancy plants or aquarium setups. When I bought this light I was mostly looking for an easy replacement for the light that came built into the aquarium hood that I misplaced several years ago. I decided to add a couple live plants to my aquarium because it was winter and I missed the plants in my outdoor garden, and because I liked the idea of a natural fish environment. I started with water wisteria and Amazon swords. The wisteria grew so quickly that I was able to snip the tops off creating new plants multiple times within a couple months. My plants have now grown so much that I'm planning to upgrade the tank soon.

lots of power for a small light two were able to light my 40 gallon tank enough to see fish, but not enough to be bothersome to someone in the room

Perfect lighting for our aquarium. Emphasize the beauty of our Betta fish and I can easily spot him now. The suctions hold well...the light has not dropped yet since I attached it eventhough I lift the top part of the aquarium every once in awhile. Highly recommended for small aquariums like the one we have. I'm satisfied with my purchase.

I wanted to turn off the main overhead of my fish tank to lengthen the lifespan of the bulb and give the fish a semblance of night/day. This really helps! It gives off a soft blue light like moonlight and its enough to let them see where they are. Currently I have it stuck on the outside of the tank and on a timer. I want to now try it on the inside and see if its a touch brighter. I also have a 6 led light that rotates colors on the other side but one led is out. The fish gravitate towards either end but some do stay in the middle darker area. In short, it is exactly what I wanted and I will probably also order one in white, maybe for another tank section. Note: I have a 50 gallon tank, freshwater with tons of guppies!

After 3 years of continued use, the lighting system of Biocube 29 died. Looked online for LED kits and they range from $200 up. Found a replacement hood on Amazon and it was $180. Either solution is too costly for my Discus tank so I gutted the entire Biocube lighting system and put in these submersible Smiful 11" LED which cost me $26 for both white and blue. I think this looks as nice or even better than the original Biocube LED so I hope this thing will last for a while.

This light (7 inch) is perfect for my 3 gallon tank. Also put one of my 10 gallon tank and they light up the entire tank amazingly. The light is so bright and convenient. Definitely worth the price you pay! You can put the light at ANY angle due to the moveable suction cups, the chord is long so you can hide the wires, and theirs a convenient switch to turn it off and on. The light alone can brighten my entire room.
