My new favorite boots.
These are some great quality boots for the price you pay. The color is as pictured. They're comfortable enough to start, and get better as you break them in. They were very squeaky at first, but I rubbed the backs and underneath the bucked with a tiny bit of coconut oil and now they're super quiet. I normally wear 8-9 size, bought 8.5 and they fit perfect. There's even room for thick socks. They end right below my calf and look just like the pictures show. They have a hard rubber sole with good tread. They're comfortable enough to wear, but I'm debating buying comfort in-soles just because I plan on hiking around New York for a week in them. The stitching appears to be stable, but I do wonder how long it will last. There's a couple threads sticking out, but they're barely a millimeter long. The laces aren't bad quality. The buckles in the back are just for show, they don't have any other holes for tightening or loosening; one could poke holes easy enough if they needed to. The pockets were a little hard to unzip at first and don't go all the way down (there's about an inch left at bottom) but after being used a couple times they work smoothly. They have plenty of room for a debit card and drivers license. The toes and heels are hard but do bend if stepped on with enough weight.

These Boots were made for walking & that's just what they did! <3
I took these boots with me to Africa. I went hiking in them in the Simien Mountains and was walking all over Africa in the mud and everything else and not only were these boots comfortable but also they were supportive and are made out of great quality materials. The pocket zipper is a little stiff but I didn't feel the need to use it but the boots were really nice especially for the price.

I LOVE these boots
I LOVE these boots. I am going to get another pair too. These are NOT work boots, you will need to be gentle with them and keep them out of bad weather. I sprayed a protective sealer on mine. They are more for looks than anything. I was concerned about fit. I range between 7 1/2 to 8. I got a 7 1/2 and it fit snugly and loosened up after a bit. I plan to order an 8 also. The ankle/calf is adjustable with the laces, which I like. I have slender ankles and calves and I can tighten these so there is no gap like some boots have. I also like the zipper so I don't have to untie them every time. They are thin, which to me is good in warmer weather. They are not a winter boot. You may want to get some type of insole if you plan to walk for hours at a time. Like some have already pointed out, the zippers for the pockets don't go all the way down, they aren't supposed to. You can still fit a couple cards and cash in there.

Surprisingly Comfy
These boots are honestly great! Comfy, lightweight, cute, functional, all you could ever want from a pair of combat boots. When I bought these, I was expecting the the cushioned insole to be like a cheap, $1 insole you could buy at the dollar store, but no. They are actually cushioned. I wore these during a Pokemon Go Community Day Event. I walked for two hours straight in these things. Normally, after two hours of walking, my feet hurt like crazy if I'm not wearing any sort of walking shoe, but these were actually not that bad. My feet were a bit sore, but nothing unmanageable. I'd had boots where after only an hour of wearing them they were unbearable! So, these were a nice relief. The little pockets on the shoes are nice! They are just big enough to hold a couple of credit cards, a driver's license, and some petty cash. A house key would also fit, but probably not a car key, especially if its a newer car. The zipper can go all the way down, and I know this because that's how they were when I got them, but the pocket doesn't go all the way down. Just a tip, the zipper is easier to operate when the shoes are on. Although the zipper was a bit stiff at first. I normally wear a women's 8-8.5 W, I bought the 8.5 for some insurance, and these pretty well fit. They were actually a bit big, but some tightening on the laces helped solve that problem. And the laces ARE incredibly long. I just tucked the excess into the flap. I 100% recommend these shoes. Cheap, cute, comfy, and functional. When I wear them, they make me feel like I wanna go on adventures like Lara Croft or a ragtag group of space rebels. But, for now, I guess I'll have to live with playing Pokemon Go in local parks.

Comfortable and cute - Totally a bargain!
I'm sure no one needs another positive review of these boots, but as I'm about to buy my second pair, I had to share my feedback. These boots are just incredible. They fit comfortably from the get-go, but if you add some insoles, they become basically the best boots ever. The wee pockets are perfect for those days I don't want to carry a purse and just need a few small things. I've received so many compliments from much more fashionable friends over these boots, and they seem to go with just about everything. Attached picture pairs them with my Wild Bangarang ranger leggings, and the whole look was a perfect casual renn faire outfit. The only real negative I found was that the little buckle prong tips are a little sharp, and will snag on some leggings (and possibly make tiny holes if you aren't careful). I'm going to try filing them down a bit on my next pair to avoid this, but it's just something to watch out for! My first pair of these boots lasted about a year and a half with regular wear. I'm replacing them because one of them finally started to separate from the sole a bit. It's possible I could repair it, but the price is reasonable enough that I feel comfortable just buying a new pair outright. I'll likely be buying a few colors in the coming months, too!

These actually fit large calves, look great, and are affordable!
I'm always a little skeptical ordering boots online because as a plus size woman, it's tricky finding ones that fit my large calves. I also had an ankle injury that resulted in surgery last year so I can't wear any heeled shoes for longer than an hour. These shoes have a tiny lift, but nothing to aggrevate my ankle. From the bottom of the shoe to the top is about 11" and they fit great! For reference, my calf is 16" where the top of the shoe hits me and there is still plenty of room leftover to adjust the laces. So put your mind to ease if you're worried about how it'll fit. I do recommend though getting a good pair of insoles for these boots. Even without them, it doesn't take long to break these boots in. As for the hidden side pocket, there's one on the outside of each boot. The zipper pulls down, but only goes down about halfways. It got stuck a bit when I first got the boots, but a little graphite from a pencil and running the zipper up and down a bunch helped to loosen it up. The pocket itself is big enough to hold items the size of a credit card. So it'll be able to fit your ID, credit/debit card, some cash, key, etc. but chances are it will not hold your phone. If your phone is larger than a credit card, it will not fit so don't bother asking about specific models. The same goes for any other electronic devices. I ordered the Brown in a size 10 and I have a tiny bit of wiggle room even with wearing thick socks. The color is true to the picture and they look great! I'm not sure how weather proof these boots are though since I always use a weather proof spray on my shoes as added security. I love these boots and they let me use an ACE bandage if I need it without creating extra bulge and the boots actually fit with it on! The price is fantastic, I'd love to get another pair in a fun color.

Size 13 in Slim Tan
I wore these on a trip to Grandfather Mountain in NC. It was a 3 day trip that included a lot of walking. I didn't have appropriate boots and most of the shoes I have don't have heavy tread on them. In addition to these things, my feet are quite large so it's really hard to find reasonably priced, attractive shoes/boots. I wore these boots all 3 days. There were several miles trekked in them and they held up splendidly. I'm very, very surprised considering the price and I assumed they would be more fashion than function. Depending on the shoe, I wear either a 12 or 13 women's. Usually I shop at Payless because they carry a variety in those sizes online (sometimes in store), but I couldn't find any boots that I really liked and the ones I did were not in my size. I purchased a 13 in these. The zippered pockets were roomier than I expected and I liked that the zipper was a bit difficult to work because that prevented me from losing anything out of them (I actually only kept a pocket knife in one and a flint stick in the other). I wore skinny capris with them, so not a lot of fabric was tucked into the boot, save for my socks. I didn't wear thick socks (it's spring, after all), but could have if needed. During winter and fall I will tuck my bootcuts into slouchy boots, but I'm not sure how well these would do with that. I think the amount of fabric would be too much. The width of the size 13 was very good. If I bought a 12, it might have been just a bit too small. The only issue I had was near the end of my 3 day trip. I started to experience some discomfort in my toes, but (this might be gross) I needed to trim my nails a bit and then it was fine. These carried me up hills and down hills, over stones, dirt, gravel, grass, pavement and through a river. Again, I am very pleasantly surprised and plan to get my hands on the purple ones at some point.

Most awesome boots EVER!
I am IN LOVE with my new boots!! I was so worried they wouldn't fit but I risked it and ordered my actual size which is 5.5 and they fit PERFECTLY! I was also worried after reading some reviews about the zipper getting stuck so I tested mine and it DID but there is a reason for it I bet none of the other people noticed. They actually made them to stop about halfway down. Why? I don't know. But you can easily see the stitch across the zipper to stop it from going down further. I added a picture of it. So that is NOT a stuck zipper or a mistake in manufacturing as both my boots are like that. It opens plenty enough to put in my cards and keys. Anyways, I can't give a good enough review for these. I'm going to wear them everywhere no matter how hot it is. Buy these if you're a boot lover you will NOT regret it!!!

Six out of Five Stars
I'm very, very sorry I put these boots on directly out of the box as soon as they came to my house because I am never taking them off ever again. Everything about them is absolutely perfect. I got the ones in chocolate brown and the color is a nice, dark buff. The laces are cord-style, but not stiff in any way and very easy to tie and adjust. I won't be using them much, though, because the zippers down the inside are more than adequate for getting me into and out of the boot. I'm considering replacing them with lace, because "combat boot" is only the style, not the attitude. These would look *adorable* with white lace laces. As for the pockets, the zippers only go about halfway down, but the pocket only goes that far, so it isn't a functional issue. A perk of that same function, however, is that above the ankle the boot is wide and supple, allowing both for a good range of movement while wearing the boot and a pocket deep enough to hold cards, cash, and even a key or two. Another thing I love about these boots is that they're substantial, but they don't make my feet look big. I'm a tall woman, and I have relatively large feet. The narrow sole, blunted toe, and wide ankle give the boots all the "boot-itude" a combat boot should have without exaggerating the size of my actual foot. These boots are functional, comfortable, and they make my feet look cute. That's as close to "life-changing" as a pair of shoes gets. :-) 10/10 would buy again
