IT WORKS!!!

I was a little skeptical at first, but my son used it to find metal poles we have buried in our yard for a volleyball net in less than 15 minutes. The poles had not been unearthed for over 2 years. There was a lot of dirt and grass covering both poles. Highly recommend for this application at least. I will add that he strapped it to a broom handle so can't say if would have been as effective from your knee level.

Best wireless headphones!

Great investment. No noticeable lag that I can hear. They fit perfectly on the Shaft with the included pieces. I like how loud they are and being able to adjust the volume on the headphones itself. These are great for metal detecting but have other uses. I highly recommend them.

When the gift is just right

I purchased this for my metal detecting nutjob Uncle. I thought he would enjoy it. He flippin' LOVES it! I've seldom seen him so excited. He talks about it, a LOT. He's already found a couple of coins with it. One of the best gifts I've ever bought for anyone. And now I'm going to have to buy one for my Dad for Father's Day. He's jealous.

but that's good enough for me

Finds metal, as advertised. Seemed reliable in finding fence staples, nails and bits of wire from a torn down chicken wire enclosure. Found dozens that a magnet didn't pick up in sweeps. Precious metal only in that finding it and removing it makes my backyard more walkable again, but that's good enough for me.

Deteknix Wireless Headphones

So far so good. I am using this device on my Whites XLT and so far it has performed well. It has only dropped connection one time not sure why. It sure beats having a cord getting in the way. Just wish there was better options for mounting the transmitter to my machine.

Simple but effective.

Within a foot or two this little detector will help you find what you are looking for. One piece of advice: take off the strap, since it will make the thing beep.

Meets my needs

This handy hand-held metal detector performs as advertised and meets my requirements. I needed to locate some screws inside some odd-shaped objects so I could take them apart. The range is just a few inches but that works fine for me. In wand mode, the range is a bit larger than in probe mode and the probe mode will then isolate the object within a fraction of an inch. The handy holster, lanyard and carrying bag are nice extras. I got my money's worth. Oh, and a P.S., this is not a deep range treasure hunting tool so don't buy it and then complain that it doesn't find stuff well that is buried underground.

I bought this as a Father's Day gift for my husband, but couldn't wait to give it to him. We go to try it out for the first time yesterday, and I was pleasantly surprised. We had a bigger metal detector, but found that it was difficult knowing exactly where to dig when picking up metal as the bigger ones just pick up in a bigger radius. We had picked up a reading, and started digging. After getting down to where we were sure the metal was, we used the pinpoint detector, and it was able to isolate a super small earring that was in a pile of dirt we had set aside. It was a perfect reading. My husband is definitely happy with his new toy!

Satisfied with X-Lounger

I have this detector for five days a goo. Being fairly new to detecting, I found this detector to be easy to use out of the box. The display is easy to understand and having all of the menu settings in front of you and not having to use sub-menu screens was great. I've used other detectors before, but have found the X-Lounger to find coins and artifacts much deeper. I've found a shield nickle and several silver coins with the X-Lounger, not to mention lots of clad. I've had two mechanical failures with the detector already however. First, the coil that came with the detector was not waterproof. Even using it in wet grass caused it to fail. Second, the display failed, causing me to have to contact Fisher for repairs. I don't know if these are common problems or not. Overall, I'm very happy with the X-Lounger metal detector

they are great, so light and no lag at all

I have used these on three of my detectors, Minelab 705, Tesoro Outlaw and Fisher F5, they are great, so light and no lag at all. So nice not to have a cord in the way, always knocking over the detector when sat on the ground, can wear all day with out hurting your ears. These are a must, good job Deteknix!!
