Dynamic range pickup. Needs a better cover.

I am not a mechanic and need to do some more reading on what the code means.

The sound meter appears to be well made. It is a handy size for storage and fits in your hand nicely. We initially purchased it to see how much noise our television was making. We live in a condo and don’t want to impose on our neighbors. We have used it to check the levels of a variety of items. Pro: Very easy to use. Con, it starts at 30db. That is very low. I’m not sure that is an actual con. Depends on your planned use. My husband is interested in measuring construction levels on our home if a proposed housing project goes through. Your hearing is very sensitive to noise/sound. It’s easy to harm your hearing without really knowing you are doing it. This meter should help.
