It was way cheaper to uninstall my previous McAfee security and install this new one than to let my old one auto-renew.

Received product key in mail within a few days. Very simple to activate. I was using McAfee the last two years. The renew now button has been popping up to warn when subscription expired, which is a convenient option if you so choose, albeit more expensive. During the new download the old software will be deleted before the new software loads up for you. It gives you an option to sign up or "not now" the auto renewal feature during the on-screen instructions which were very customer friendly and kept you updated as to status of download. It probably took 30 minutes per computer to install with my internet connection. McAfee had flagged several items in the past so it must be working behind the scenes to protect system as it claims; was tempted to try something else this year but decided to leave well enough alone.

Does it's job protecting only problem I seemed to have was it recognizing and keeping each of my devices in a list so know they were protected and listed.

Tech support was awesome...

There seemed to be a conflict with the previous version McAfee. Their Tech support was able to resolve it using remote diagnostics.

It's GREAT

BUT I haven't USED it yet, because my last CARD doesn't expire until September 2018
