no hardware on the back of the box, but it fits all my kid's travel toys, and is easy to carry even when full. Looks impressive from a fairly close viewing, as long as guests don't feel it to tell it is not actual planks etc.

Great antique looking chest

This is pretty awesome! I'm using it as a place to put my dowry for my wedding and it's spacious and the wood is great quality and just smells like great wood! Everything works and is screwed in right! I wish it was a tadddd bigger as I ordered the bigger one but it wasn't what I expected. You should definetly use a measuring tape to know exactly what you're getting! But it's very antique and I'm excited for it to be a part of my wedding!

Love this trunk

Love this trunk. Was confused by some of the reviews about the actual color, but it looks exactly like the picture - very rustic light brown - looks like an actual antique and that is what I wanted. It sits on the hearth of my living room fireplace and fits in well with the rest of the decor. I've been doing some redecorating to give my living room that rustic, country look and this trunk has become the centerpiece.

For the price, and considering it arrives fully assembled, this is an excellent storage trunk. First of all, it is not really "large". Make sure you check out the dimensions; it is listed as "large" only because the are small, jewelry type "trunks" for sale here on Amazon. I have no complaints regarding the quality of this item especially when you consider the price and that it comes fully assembled, out of the box ready for your use! It has enough room for several well folded quilts, etc. and depending upon your needs, it could work for you. I am considering purchasing another, as it matches my decor, but for every positive review the price goes up (when I purchased mine I paid approx. $84.)

Great piece, looks exactly as pictured. Wood isn't the greatest quality but for the price it's well worth the buy. Very happy!
