Great juicer for great price

Great juicer. Slow enough for leafy greens and gets a lot of juice. Perfect for Joe Cross challenge. Easy clean up. Love this juicer.

Warranty info is wrong

The Amazon description of this item states " Our motor is covered by a 10 years warranty. The remaining parts are covered by a 3 years warranty". This warranty was one of this reasons I purchased this juicer. When I opened the box, the Warranty Card said this product has a one year warranty. I was sent a link to a recipe booklet by the manufacturer that I could download. After I downloaded the booklet, my default search engine was changed Yahoo.com. It leaves me concerned about what else this download loaded of changed on my computer. The juicer arrived yesterday and I used it today for the first time. I juiced the same fruits and veggies I normally juice. The quantity of juice was a little less than I get from my centrifugal juicer and this pulp was wetter then I expected. Updated rating to 5 stars. A representative from Mooka contacted me a addressed all my issues. - The warranty card the was sent with the juicer was sent in error, they sent me the corrected warranty card. - I was sent a pdf of the juice recipe booklet. I would still be cautious about downloading the link that was provided for the booklet. - The pulp was wetter than I thought it would be, I run the pulp though the juicer a second time and this second pulp is much dryer. I think this is acceptable for a juicer at this price point. I have been using the juicer daily for a week and am pleased with the machine. I even recommend the juicer to a friend.

Outstanding value!

I looked for a juicer for over a year, taking time to read reviews and learn the basics. I am so happy to have found the Mooka Masticating Juicer on Amazon. When I first saw it, 6 people had purchased the juicer with a over a 4 star rating. The next time I checked, 9 people purchased and still the same rating. Next was 13 and then 19 purchases with almost a perfect 5 star rating. That has to say something about the quality. This is one of the best purchases I have made. I have had juice every morning since receiving this juicer. I juice everything - carrots, celery, spinach, kale,oranges, lemons, apples, beets and on and on. Consider the rating, price, excellent warranty and customer service and buy it now. I don't think you will regret it - I certainly don't.

High quality juice and juicer!

I am extremely satisfied with this juicer! I’ve never had a slow juicer before. I felt that my previous centrifugal juicer was wasting too much of the produce, along with the fact that the juices started tasting funny after 24 hours. I like being able to make my juices every couple days. I got the new juicer this week, and I am happy with the multiple features for soft and hard foods. I’ve made a mix of juices with the following produce that all worked well: celery, cucumber, lemon, orange with peels on, apples, pineapple, asparagus, carrot (unpeeled). beet, beet greens, and other greens. I’ve found that most of these do really well in this juicer. The juice lasts for up to two days (I haven’t tested it past this point) and it’s still awesome quality. All the produce works pretty well except the beet greens for a little wrapped around the juicer. I used to make straight celery juice with a pound of celery at a time which would make 16 oz of juice. Now, I see half a pound of celery (one normal bunch) makes close to 16 oz, so I’m happy there is more juice, less waste and I can save money on produce! The juicer is easy to clean and to assemble. I am very happy with how well this juicer works.

Very Pleased

A old friend finally convinced me that adding juicing to my diet was well worth the effort, but then it came down to what product to buy. I selected the Mooka based on very good early reviews and the price point. I have now been juicing for 4 straight months for two people. Some days I'll do just one serving each, and other times I'll do two or three days. Each dinner plate in the photo, plus kale (or spinach, chard, bottle gourd, etc) makes two servings of about 10 oz each. I also add fresh ginger and turmeric root, which are both very hard and juice extremely well. Although juicer has both Soft and Hard settings, I always use hard, essential for carrots, etc. The juice tastes fantastic, and the yield is very good. The real operating key is to prep the veggies and fruit by cutting into wedges (apples, etc) or strips (carrots, celery, cucumbers) so that they feed easily into the down tube. For carrots etc I cut into 3" segments +/- and then roughly split lengthwise once or twice. Leafy veggies need a rough quick chop. Use carrots to help push through the softer items, and don't over-pack the down tube. The pusher helps a lot and is short enough that it will not connect with the auger. Don't over-fill the chute and push real hard- this is not a gym workout, it's food prep! Lastly, be patient with the new machine as the parts fit very snug when new, but you'll quickly get the hang of disassembling and cleaning the unit.

This juicer is EASY to clean. But it works excellent. I get a lot of juice out of the veggies

This juicer is very awesome. Its extremely fast to clean which was very important to me. Long ago I spent $300 for a Champion and never used it because it was horrible to clean. When I got this and from the first time I used it, I fell in love with it. I am currently using it every single day. I was juicing celery but have backed off due to the vitamin K in celery which can cause your blood to be too thin, so I stopped that but now I'm juicing almost every single green and fruit you can imagine. I alternate from harder to softer veggies and fruits, I'm not rushing it though its still quick. I am going to purchase possibly several more for family members that could benefit from it, possibly for the Holidays. But. I like that we can order parts and you or also have an excellent warranty. That makes me feel safe.. Thank you!! This review was from me actually purchasing on Amazon. I'm a real customer who just wants to let folks know that I like how this machine works. Also so far so good, I've had no problems with it. I use it 1 to 2 times daily. I also clean it right away so that nothing gets stuck on there. Very awesome juicer. New Note: as i wrote before, while I absolutely love the juicer, I saw the price hike up to nearly double, so with that in mind I wont be purchasing several more for the Holidays for family. Very dissapointed in that it went up over $100. I will purchase another type of masticating juicer for my family on Amazon, I had a few I was watching and will pick one of those. Had the price not gone up over that range, I would get them here.

Exceeds expectations

Just used juicer for the first few times... Started the medical medium 28 day cleanse. Currently using the juicer for mainly celery juice (mixed with fruits). Compared to my old centrifugal juicer, I am getting a lot more juice with less vegetables and fruits. Although it is slower than the centrifugal juicer, my juice tastes better and holds in the fridge. I’ve only let is sit 24 hours in the fridge as I like my juice as fresh as possible. The juicer is super easy to assemble, disassemble, and clean. The brush it comes with is perfect for cleaning the filter. Highly recommend.

It works great! As others said, it juices quite a bit from the greens. It also worked really well on my wheat grass. The price point is very nice as well. :-)

Great Quality, High Yield, Quiet. Very Impressed!

Initially I wasn't sure what to expect. So often you see pictures and watch videos from reviews and advertisements, only to find the product doesn't work or perform anything like what you saw when you bought it. But this one was different, a true pleasant surprise. It performs very well! One Red Delicious apple makes enough juice to fill a six-ounce juice glass, as does one navel orange. For those who like their juice with little to no pulp, which is my preference, I was again pleasantly surprised. Set-up of the unit was very easy, although cleaning it afterwards takes just enough time that making only one glass at a time is a little inefficient. The motor is quiet, and while it says "Slow juicer," it took more time to core and slice the apple, or peel and wedge the orange, than it did the for machine to juice the pieces. Overall, thus far I am very impressed.

Not good for wheat grass, good for other products

I bought this machine to juice wheat grass and it automatically shoots the wheat grass into the disposal tub and did not juice it at all. Sadly, I returned this product. Update Review: I changed my review to 5 stars due to after returning the product, the seller contacted me and sent me another juicer (same one just new) for free for the inconveniences.
