helps with new prairie garden

The staples are very strong. We are setting up a prairie garden to call pollinators in our area. Surrounding the garden are grasses that are invasive. We are securing smothering material to cover these nonnative grasses. It's working.

These stakes are very strong. You will have a hard time bending them in all but the hardest of soil.

Great heavy duty stakes

Needed these to tie down some landscape cloth and they work very well. Heavy gauge wire and good zinc coating that should last.

I love these staples!

I am using them to hold drip hoses in place and for anchoring landscape and weed retention film in our raised beds. The biggest box I had found in a store were 75 which quickly ran out. Also, these are about an inch longer and much sturdier than our old ones. Laid weed barriers in five 6' wide' and 8' to 20' beds yesterday and only used about half. I am reordering today.

Truly galvanized, and strong.

They appear to be truly galvanized so they won't start rusting with the first exposure to moisture like the non-galvanized ones do. The 11 gauge size seems to reasonably strong and good enough for the current beds I am working with where the top soil is pretty good quality. Previously I worked with poorer dirt with more clay and rocks, and I needed the thicker 9 gauge. I've tried a lot of brands. I will only buy galvanized now, and "rust resistant" claims are not to be believed.

6" and nice and sturdy. these are the ones you want to used, Galvanized too, to slow down any rusting that may happen. Don't buy the home depot junk

Very strong, not flimsy

Very strong and sturdy. Worth the price! I bought some at another store, much more expensive and less staples cheap not as sturdy

Sturdy and easy to install!

These surpassed our expectations! They are made of a thick metal, are much longer than the ones you find at a hardware store and are very easy to install. We needed to install weed barrier in five large flower beds and the landscaping areas around our house. We wanted something that would hold it in place until we could order river rock. These have held it all in place through several storms. We are definitely keeping these on hand and just ordered another box to finish several other landscape areas.

Quality Garden Stakes

These stakes are much more rigid than other stakes I have bought, which allowed me to drive them into harder ground without as many bending. I bought one box to test and ended up buying another 7 or 8 boxes for a large playground I was installing. The steel is stronger than most and the tongs are a little closer spaced than others you can get at Home Depot that allowed me to pound them into some tough clay ground.
