in the past you had to tear out your hair renewing Mcafee. It would not just extend- you effectively had to start again, reinstalling it. This time it’s really easy as it just extends your existing one. Once activated then go to each machine, check for updates and then check your info tab to see the date extended by a year. It was a real fist pump time. Well done McAfee. BTW the card was a Jiffy bag wrapped card with a code and instructions. I guess they are just protective.

Good Value, Very Good Support

I have used McAfee Total Protection for several years. It is economical since it covers multiple devices. For installation, I had an expiring version on my computers and was not sure how to replace it with the new version I ordered from Amazon. I called support and someone logged on to my computer and did it for me in about 5 minutes. Also told me easy way to update on remaining computers. We later had a problem with multiple viruses on one computer which their tech group removed for about $70. Yes, these viruses and pop ups you hope should be blocked but no single program can stop them all on every computer. We found their support which we have used (both free and paid) to be excellent (even if the waiting period is about 15 minutes).
