• Carburetor for MTD CUB CADET TROY BILT 951-10974 951-10974A 951-12705 w/Gaskets (951-10974)

After reading the reviews, decided to take a chance on buying this carburetor. The unit is an exact fit OE aftermarket replacement, comes with preset throttle and choke. No mount or connection issues. Fired up the the snow thrower with no issues, its running like new. The extra accessories were a nice bonus. Can't beat the value, quality of components were fine.

I have a Toro CCR-Powerlite E 3hp that's got to be at least 15 years old, if not more. I have never changed the carburetor until now, I honestly had no idea how EASY it was to CHANGE. I had been just spraying starter fluid in the carb. for years because I had no idea how CHEAP and EASY it was to change out. There was one piece I had to reuse off my original one that was not include and had a spring attached to it that went to the throttle ( I don't know much about small or large engines). Literally came off in seconds and the NEW one came READY RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX plus the piece I had to put on from my old one. My snowblower hadn't started all of 2018, I primed it ONCE and pulled ONE TIME and it fired right up! Runs like it did the first day. AMAZING, very happy about the purchase. WOULD RECOMMEND

I have a John Deere snowblower that is 25 years old. I checked at the dealer and a new carb was $198. Amazon was only $15 so I thought I would try it. I bought a similar carburetor from a different store. It worked. but leaked gas from the float bowl so I returned it. I ordered this one because of the positive reviews. It fit perfect and runs like a champ. No adjustment needed and doesn't leak any gas. Highly recommend.

I bought a used JD 826 Snowblower that didn't run. Common problem with Techumceh snowblower engines is that fuel sits in the carburetor over the summer and causes corrosion (especially ethanol fuel) to plug things up. I did take my old carb. apart and cleaned it. It ran fine however, the rubber o rings were dry and cracked and still leaked some fuel. For the price of this carburetor, plug, stop fuel valve, ect. I figured, " what the heck, let's try it." It is the correct replacement with all the correctly drilled holes for mounting shield brackets. Everything connected perfectly and the engine started up and ran smoothly. I will make sure to shut off the fuel for summer storage. Worth every penny..

Great seller and carb works better than some new ones. Turn up idle a hair {sweet}. Thanks from Bill Z.

Installed on 8hp Tecumseh Snow King engine. Started right up, only adjustment I made was to the idle speed (which is actually the only thing you can adjust without removing the mixture screw cap) Time will tell how this carb responds to the 10% ethanol blend we have where I live, but for the price if I had to change this out every 2 years as part of maintenance it would still be a bargain.

Exact replacement carburator for my Troy-Bilt Storm 8.5 hp 26 inch snowblower with Tecumseh LH318SA engine. Orginal carburator failed due to varnish build up from using ethonol-added fuel. Have since sourced non ethonol fuel for all of my small gas engines and use fuel stabilizer. This replacement part is quality and as a bonus came with a fuel shutoff valve. I inserted the valve in the fuel line and can now easily and quickly run the carburator dry for summer storage. Installation was quick and easy thanks to a you tube video showing the necessary steps for my machine model. Engine now runs like new. Would buy again and highly recommend.

Arrived quickly and perfectly fit. Install took about 45 minutes. Came with additional parts I did not need but might have, such as filter, spark plug, fuel line, and primer button. Snowthrower started on first try. A week later I ran the machine for a few hours to clear snow from my 300 foot long driveway. Ran perfectly. Very satisfied.

I like it because it was inexpensive compared to OEM. It worked fine when installed and it came with primer bulb, a new fuel shutoff as well as clamps for the gas line and a spark plug. Can't beat it for the price. I was skeptical but it works fine and doesn't leak.

I used this carb on a Craftsman 11hp snowblower that had sat for FIVE YEARS. She has an electric start due to engine size. But after installing, I pulled the cord, and she started before the cord was half way out, first pull! The only adjustment I had to make was on the linkage, not the carb...a touch higher on idle speed.
