• Noise-masking sleepbuds are the latest Bose innovation. They use engineered soothing sounds to cover up unwanted noise — like snoring partners and noisy neighbors — so you can fall asleep, and stay asleep
  • They may look like tiny headphones, but instead of streaming music, the sleepbuds play pre-loaded soothing sounds for sleep and relaxation
  • Super-tiny sleepbuds stay comfortably in place all night long, even if you sleep on your side. Choose from three included eartip sizes for the best fit
  • Although Bose pioneered noise cancelling technology, its research found noise masking is the better option for sleep
  • Rechargeable battery provides up to 16 hours of use for deep, peaceful sleep.Charging time: Up to 8 hours for sleepbuds
  • The sleepbuds work exclusively with the Bose Sleep app so you can control and customize how you sleep. Select your soothing sound, control the volume, set an alarm, and even choose how long you want your sleepbuds to play
  • Compact and convenient storage case keeps your sleepbuds safe, charged, and ready for next time. Provides one additional charge without having to plug it in
  • Your device (smartphone, tablet, etc.) must support Bluetooth Low Energy (also called Bluetooth Smart) to work correctly with the Bose noise-masking sleepbuds. Apple devices with iOS 10 or later are compatible, and most devices with Android 5.0 and newer versions support Bluetooth Low Energy
  • WHAT’S IN THE BOX: Bose noise-masking sleepbuds, Charging/storage case, 3 pairs of StayHear+ Sleep tips (S/M/L), Wall charger, USB cable, Drawstring travel pouch

I bought these to mask partner's snoring and they work WELL. But- as a TOTAL surpsrise bonus-they also help tremendously with my underlying NON- snoring related insomnia. I now use them even when I sleep alone. I now take half or none of the sleeping pills I used to need. They help my brain wind down and go to sleep. I used to dread the lie-in-bed-and-wait to sleep process. I don't anymore. I think these help ease your brain into delta waves and deep sleep. Its pretty amazing. Try them for any sort of insomnia, not just noise related. I never expected that. I know I am not the only person who struggles with insomnia.

Overall: recommended Pros: Blocks the sound of my wife snoring - works better than the best ear-plugs; I've tried many other solutions Comfortable Long lasting battery Charging "pod" is portable and will recharge 2.5 - 3 times Easy to use Cons: Charging: Placing buds on charging nodes can be difficult and frustrating BT: Buds sometimes not recognized by app/phone Sizing: can be tricky Overall, I am very pleased with this product. It completely blocks the sound of my wife snoring and any other unwanted sound. I am a "light" sleeper and can wake up easily. The sleep buds are comfortable, the battery lasts well past 8 hours and the charging pod is great for travel - charge while unplugged, which is genius. Setup was quick and easy. The cost is high, but in my opinion, it is well worth it. I've spent loads of money on regular ear plugs, sound machines, and sleepless nights. This product solves my problem. The "cons" listed are minor gripes that I am able to live with. "Charging": in the morning when I take the pods out of my ears and place them into the charger, it can be difficult to put them in "just right" so that they start to charge. It can take a few minutes, which is frustrating, but not a deal-breaker. "BT": Occasionally, the sleep buds will not be recognized by my phone, which I think is an issue with the phone and not the sleep buds. "Sizing": this is in reference to the three sized "sleep tips" that encase the actual electronics. At first, I tried the medium sleep tips, which didn't feel like they were staying in my ear. I then tried the large sleep tips which made my ears hurt by morning after a night of sleeping on my side. Lastly, I tried the small sleep tips. These actually fit the best, stayed in my ears, blocked the most sound, and didn't make my ears hurt.

Let me start out by saying that I had these in my cart at least 5 times. Came on read reviews took them out and kept looking around. Then there was that fateful night. I am lying in bed trying to drift off to sleep. My dog decided it was an excellent time to clean herself from head to toe. Okay, I love my dog I can deal with that. Then my husband started to snore. I love him too but I did contemplate some POF therapy (Pillow Over Face). So at 2am I put them in the cart and bought them. Thank you amazon prime I had them in 2 days. I tried them out for the first time last night and I wonder how I survived without them! I have anxiety and often have trouble sleeping due to it. And then noises drive me insane. I sometimes cannot even stand the sound of someone breathing. I have tried silicone ear plugs before as well as a white noise machine. Yes, they worked but not nearly as good as these did. The were comfortable in my ears. Honestly, I did not even feel them. The stayed in all night and I did not even hear my husband get up in the morning. They are easy to set up and the sound quality is second to none. There are about 10 sounds that come preloaded and you can download more from the library. If you plan on doing this, do it a few hours before you plan on going to bed because it takes an hour to download. When I saw that I admit I did get a little pissed because I could not use the sound that I really wanted. But oh the hell well. I downloaded it today and will be able to use it tonight. If you are thinking about getting these, I highly suggest them and I am not one to suggest many things as I am pretty damn picky! Sweet dreams!

Much of my life I've struggled with insomnia. Ambien, Diphenhydramine (Benadryl, Sominex, etc) worked but leave me drugged and cranky the following day. I've tried regular earbuds but they are uncomfortable as a side sleeper so made steady sleep worse. I have several pair of SleepPhones which I like but charging them is a pain and often when I needed them the batteries would be dead, not to mention the band gets hot and uncomfortable over the night, even the Breeze fabric. I was skeptical because I've had high hopes for so many sleep aides but I've had these for a week, the greatest week of sleep I can remember. They are tiny and you can sleep in any position without feeling like you have uncomfortable pressure in/on your ears. My wife refers to me as an "active sleeper" because I move around so much but these fit so snug that tossing and turning is not a concern. Though it is a limited selection of sound options and you can't listen to music, the sound quality and noise masking is great, and the point is to sleep, not to be entertained. Finally, the alarm feature is so great and while my wife had commented how happy she is to see me sleep so well this last week, hands down her favorite feature is the alarm that wakes me right up but she doesn't have to hear at all when I often have to be up much earlier than her. I have been searching for years for something like this. I'd been waiting for the Kokoon headphones to come out because I do like SleepPhones and figured they would be an improvement, but they've been preordering and delaying for years to the point I'm concerned they are a scam. I cannot recommend these enough! These are near perfect and truly are life changing for me and hopefully others as well.

I never, ever, write reviews! The Bose Sleepbuds have literally saved me.....My wife snores, all night, and I'm a very light sleeper. Prior to using the Sleepbuds, most nights had me in bed for 8 or more hours, but only sleeping 3-4 max. Her snoring would wake me up 10-20 a night, every night. It was so bad I would take 8-10 Tylenol PM's and 4 Nyquil Gel pills just to try to sleep through her snoring. Not good for me, not good at all!!! After dealing with this for over a decade, I was about to buy another mattress, and start sleeping in another room, as it has taken a massive toll on my outlook, as well as my ability to do my job. Since using the Sleepbuds, I have been sleeping with these for 5 nights now, and I have slept uninterrupted every night , all night. I cannot feel them I my ears at all, they fit perfectly, neither one has ever fallen out of my ear, the alarm that's built in to the app is flawless. I would pay $1,000 for these things..........Simply life changing for me and frankly, my wife!!

A lot of people are grumpy that the headphones are not more than what they're advertised to be... did you even read about them before buying? Did you even buy them or are you just complaining about what you think they "should" be? I digress. Here is my honest review: Pros -comfortable, even for 8-10hours for a side sleeper like myself -earbuds actually block out sound all on their own pretty well -has an alarm that's not completely obnoxious, and sounds in the earpiece so it doesn't wake my husband -case has multiple charges in it -they actually stay in your ear! And I'm an active sleeper *Bonus? I recently used them on a flight and it actually blocked out the airplane noise! Ironically, there is an airplane noise option haha, in case that's what you like Cons -earbuds have to be placed on the magnets "just so" to charge. Sometimes it takes a few tries. -earbuds can be dislodged by lid when closing and can easily be dislodged if the case gets bumped -slow to charge (think several hours) -app(/my phone?) occasionally has difficulty finding them, so you have to go through this whole thing of putting them back in the case, plugging the case in and then taking the earbuds out again? The bluetooth hasn't ever lost signal in the night though, so that's what matters most to me. Ultimately, there are some kinks they need to iron out. Are those kinks annoying? Sometimes. Would it be nice to have more sound options? Sure. Are they pricey? Yes. For me though, it's totally worth it. I'm an incredibly light sleeper and white noise helps me fall and stay asleep. I've tried multiple sleeping headphones, but while less expensive, were not as effective, comfortable or durable.

I "sleep" next to a snoring mate. It has been a losing battle, one breeding epic insanity and resentment. If this is true for you, there is NO limit to what you would pay for a solid night of sleep in your own bed (we don't have a spare bedroom right now). I already have a gravity blanket and an awesome white noise machine (which is great at covering the pet and adult kid noises in the house, but not the chain saw next to me). So when the ad for these sleep buds showed up in my Prime stream, I thought could this be the solution???? No, they don't stream music from your phone, they are not regular headphones, you can get those for $30 at Target. These are designed for SLEEP. For the first time last night...I had perfect sleep. They WORK. It's basically white noise right in your ear, masking sounds. Can I still hear him? A little, but only if I'm already awake. The difference is he doesn't wake me up AND I CAN GO BACK TO SLEEP. There is one trick: For the first three nights, I had what I now know as "pillow rubbing" noise (found it over on the Bose forums). The little plastic outer coating on the bud sticks to your pillow and makes a loud rubbing, creaking noise when you breathe, yes when you breathe. I tried 3 kinds of pillow cases and all three of the ear bud tips thinking I just didn't have them seated correctly. The forums revealed a super simple fix: stick a piece of duct or packing tape over the plastic part. Then pick the white noise that works for you (I DO hope they add more soon to the app) and go to sleep. I'm a side sleeper, these puppies do not come out and they are comfortable. You don't even have to set the volume up very high for the masking effect to work. It is very much a one-trick pony, all they are good for is sleeping in the midst of noise. But it's an awesome trick.

I bought these for my wife. She travels to Europe for work and usually spends the first day napping off and on to acclimate to the time but used to find it difficult because of loud noises. She has tried different types of ear plugs but finds that most of them hurt her sensitive ears. These fit perfectly and did not bother her at all. She took her brother with her on this last trip and he tends to snore loudly most nights. In this setting the headphones worked perfectly. They slept in separate queen beds so there was some separation between them. I don’t know if this would work for a snoring partner laying next to you but I can say it works for a snoring guest sleeping in the next bed for sure. I was a little skeptical about blocking out all sounds for fear of her not waking up in the event a fire happened or some sort of emergency but the companion app lets you set a timer that will turn them off once you’ve fallen asleep. It also lets you set an alarm and wakes you up gently in the morning. This setting isn’t as intuitive as she’d like it to be but still works great. She’s had them now for two weeks and worn them almost 5 full nights in Europe and is still raving about them. They offer the perfect combination of blocking out/masking most annoying noises but let just enough in to be mindful of an emergency like alarms, or kids screaming, etc. They aren’t for complete silence or noise blocking but they are for a more peaceful presence of relaxing sounds that are a comfortable fit for your ears.

I've used these now for 3 nights and have gotten excellent sleep, noticeably better than I typically get. It's a very specific product for sleeping only. Getting good sleep makes a world of difference for me, and my partner is a snorer. Previously I was using foam earplugs every night, plus soft fleece "sleep phones" that wrap around your head. The foam earplugs are still pretty uncomfortable and don't work 100%. These sleepbuds blow them out of the water in terms of getting good sleep. I hesitated to buy these at first because they aren't truly "noise cancelling" but it turns out that technology isn't that helpful for blocking sounds like snoring. (I have actually tried using noise cancelling earbuds for sleeping and it's not great). With the sleep buds, it's really unexpected how your ears and brain "tune in" to the noise coming out of the sleepbuds and then completely "tune out" to the noise coming from your environment. It's a little magical. I would imagine this doesn't work for everyone, and having to spend $250 to find that out is a total bummer. Look into the return policy before buying. Even though it's super expensive, the quality of sleep I'm getting now makes it totally worth it!!!

Exceptional quality as would be expected from Bose! I am a police officer working nights and therefore sleep during the day. These earbuds are amazing! Although, I’ve only been using the ear buds for a week I have noticed that I am able to fall back into deep sleep after midday visit to the water closet. Highly recommended!
