I purchased this to go inside of my 2006 Dodge Grand Caravan that I have converted into a sleeper van. I do not like to have too many windows open (especially in Florida) when I'm relaxing, so I bought this item. In all, even on low, it moves a good amount of air, and makes all of the difference when I'm hanging out inside the van. So far the battery life seems awesome, and I LOVE the fact that it uses 18650 type batteries and charges via a micro USB plug, so I can charge it right from my cigarette lighter while I drive, or bring it in the house and charge it, or even plug it into a portable battery pack. Very nice construction and very versatile!

If you like to constantly have air blowing on you this is perfect. It's not as powerful as one that you plug in however it is perfect for a small space to keep the air moving. Set it on your desk, next to the couch during the day, etc. The battery life is much better than expected. I run it periodically throughout the day and it lasts all day, sometimes two. Good quality, easy to clean, etc. If you're looking for a rechargeable fan this is the best I've had thus far. Go for it.

I really enjoy this fan. I previously purchased a smaller Opolar desk fan that has performed admirably so when I was looking for a larger fan for my bedside the first place I looked was Opolar, and I've been happy with that choice so far. The fan runs great at two different speeds. The higher speed does provide a significant boost to airflow over the lower speed. I keep this bed on my headboard and have it blow air over me at night as I have a difficult time staying cool. The fan is very quiet, but does produce some sound. For me the sound is a little bit of added white-noise which I find helps me sleep. The fan blades appear to be made of a plastic material, where my smaller Opolar desk fan was metal. I think this will probably help with the long term quietness of the unit and is a good design change. It also looks pretty cool with the see-through blades. The fan comes with rechargeable batteries already installed that allow the fan to operate without being plugged in. I have used this a couple of times, once at a picnic outside in the GA heat, where the fan helped me keep cool and once out on my back patio while playing with my kids. The longest I've run the fan on battery was about 3 hours and I didn't notice any slow downs when compared to using it while plugged in. I would like to note that the installed rechargeable batteries don't appear to be a standard size and may prove difficult to replace if you ever needed to. My only complaint, and this is a very small one, is that the LED lights on the back when plugged in (but not turned on) are a little bright. There is a blue LED when the unit is fully charged and an orange LED when it is charging. This could be a problem for me at night as I don't like any light in my sleeping area, but since I always have the fan running at night it doesn't cause any problems for me. Again, just a small gripe. You could probably easily cover the lights with electrical tape or something if it became a bother. Overall I rate this fan 5 stars since it is strong, quiet, good looking, and portable.

I bought this for a stay at a USFS cabin rental that had no electricity. During the stay, the temperature was 99 degrees and the cabin was horribly warm and stuffy. I got out this personal fan and it made all the difference in the world. I set it on the table and I was able to stay comfortably. Because it is battery operated, it was easy to move around in the cabin. An additional note, thank you for sending it charged!

It runs 24/7 of my solar setup. Very strong and take only 2 1/2 watts on low power and 4 on high

I think this is a quality, battery operated fan that: 1. has a stable base with rubber stops ensures fan is stationary. Versatility rating = 4 because it's larger than other battery fans (which I was looking for) and it won't clip to just anything. It is meant to sit on a table, etc. or it can be hung by its base. Can carry/store by its base. 2. produces wind felt over 10 feet away and is very quiet 3. comes with 2 rechargeable batteries (many other fans have only 1 battery) 4. I use my android charger to recharge rather than the packaged USB. initial full charge takes about 5 hours. 5. thin metal guard allows maximum wind rather than the thicker plastic cage on other fans I cannot rate the battery life as yet -- haven't wore them out (recharge once a day)! I will say that living in my van and living in Florida with its moist, strong heat, I am finding this little investment priceless. I have ordered 4 Sanyo NCR18650GA 3500mAh 10A (hopefully I got the right size) Batteries @ $5.49 each and a 4 slot charger so I will never be without the comfort of this fan. As a note: When choosing a battery charger, make sure it has a light or will shut off when batteries become fully charged. Finally, I got my fan in 3 days (and it was the weekend!) with no shipping cost.

Hefty and moves air well. Using it in small camper that heats up in sun. Love the usb charging and using it cord free. Used it outside when fridge vent cooling fans stopped working on hot day in Acadia. Kept the fridge from frying until I could find the loose connection. Dinner and trip saving.

Love it! Quiet and it is pretty powerful. Just charged it once so far so I can not say how long a charge will last cause it is still going. Bought it for our camper and I just ordered a second one. Seems well made weighs less than a pound. This is exactly what I wanted.

I must say I was skeptical to buy a battery powered fan. My main concern was how much air it actually moved. I must say even on the low setting it exceeded my expectations. I bought this because the last few cruises I went on had pretty stuff rooms for my comfort. But I’ve been using it in my end table next to me in the living room as opposed to my $50 tower fan I typically use. The best part is ITS BATTERY OPERATED. This means extremes portability. I plan to use it at the drive in me and my fiancé plan to go to over the weekend. I will definitely be buying 1 or 2 more for the summertime around the pool and patio as well when guests come over. Note: before you buy, make sure you have a spare USB block to use and charge it with. I had to hunt for an extra one when it came in, as I didn’t read where it said it didn’t come with one. Small price to pay for convenience!

I’ve had this for about two weeks now and it is amazing! I work at a facility with a secure floor policy. I’m allowed to have a fan but it has to be battery operated. I was tired of buying batteries for my previous fan and looked into rechargeable options. I’m glad i trusted the other reviews. This fan really is a game changer for me. It lasts my entire 8 hour shift. I charge it every night. The fan speed has just the right air flow for me. Would definitely recommend. May need to buy another one for camping trips.
