Sweet, just what I ordered

At work there are maps and other material where the writing is so small it's difficult to read even with readers...these come in handy and I don't have to use anything else. It arrived on time, as described by Amazon & manufacturer, the packaging was undamaged, and the product itself was unmolested and made with quality materials.

Put one in each first aid kit

You should have a first aid kit in every car, boat etc. plus your home. One of these should be in every kit, for examining wounds, stings, and and foreign bodies like splinters, stingers, dirt or debris in eyes, etc. not only can they help you treat, but your first aid kit should also have basic survival gear, and this makes a great fire starter. They are inexpensive enough to have one in your pocket while shopping for reading fine print on boxes. Buy a bunch for just a little money and scatter them around your life.

So good a bargain, it's almost a steal

The cover is not leather; it is vinyl (however, it does have a soft protective lining). The actual lens diameter is 1-7/8 inches. It is not a 10x magnifier; more like 2+, but that is all you need for everyday magnification of print and small items. Greater magnification at that size is impractical. The magnifier (optics and cover together) is a hair over 1/4 inch thick and it will sit in your pocket unnoticed (at least, I don't notice it and I carry it front pocket all the time). The lens stays within the cover and opens easily. The magnified image is clear and 99% undistorted. It does exactly what you want a pocket magnifier to do. Why is it such a bargain? For the price you get four of a really good quality magnifier at $2.25 each.

Great product!

Everyone loves a good magnifying glass! These are nicely compact and fit in a very small handbag when necessary. I gave them to all of my kiddos...my grandkids....they all love them and now are all "spies"! My mother loves hers to be able to see what she is doing when she changes the settings on her hearing aids! Love these little things!

Great little magnifier to start a fire or get a closer look.

I got these primarily for suplimenting our survival kits. This is a great tool to start a fire on a sunny day with no matches, or if you want to save them, and it can supplement your first aid kit when you have a very small splinter and tweezers and you just need a little better, clearer, sharper and/or magnified area to work with.

Great for old people like me

These work great for that really small print that my eyes refuse to read these days, even with my glasses. They are small, fit in my purse and I dont look like Inspector Gadget or Sherlock Holmes when I use them.

Excellent value

This is a bargain price for 4 of these excellent magnifiers. The glass is 1 3/4" across, small enough to carry in a pocket or purse. The super magnification is good for maps or tiny print. The protective cover slides off and on easily and keeps the glass clean and unscratched. All in all a great value.

Surprised at response.

Seems our wonder printers are putting eye strain on the list at an earlier age. I usually carry a magnifying glass in my purse. Everyone borrows it, especially when reading food labels. I was quite surprised at the amount of gratitude when I passed these to my younger relatives as a quick gift. Now everyone carries a glass in their pocket or purse when shopping. One feature I always want, either a glass lens or synthetic of good quality. These are perfect.

Nice, clean magnification; very handy

I ordered these for my mother who has macular degeneration and needs a magnifying glass for almost any kind of reading or detailed work. These are really good magnifying glasses, yet light and small enough to carry around in a pocket or pocketbook. My mother seems quite happy with these, and her opinion counts more than mine. (I like them, too.) Excelllent value for the price. Highly recommended.

Great for a homeschool co-op

These are the perfect size for kids and they fit well in slim pencil box with other items. The strength is stronger than other cheap magnifying glasses you can buy in the store. I love that they have a little cover that slides over them to keep them protected and that the cover is attached so it doesn't get lost.
