So far so good. Used lithium batteries in the sensors like suggested just in case. They seem to read accurately and the alarm function is a great feature. I'm using this to monitor refrigerator temps in a pharmacy.

This item is great! I am using it for a freezer in the basement. I'm able to have the base unit in my kitchen on the main floor. The signal is strong. I would definitely buy this again!!!

This is a great choice for what I was trying to accomplish. I wasn't sure if my refrigerator was working as indicated from the panel on the front of the refrigerator. I had an IR thermometer that could read surface temps but not air temps. So I bought this to use in my refrigerator/freezer compartments. I love the spring loaded hook design that allows you to just hook the sensor over a drawer in the refrigerator/freezer compartment. The sensors respond quickly to temperature changes and the outside display that I have magnetically attached to the outside of the refrigerator is very readable and convenient. I'm using Alkaline batteries in the sensors since their operating range goes down to -4 F degrees and I have my freezer set to -0 F degrees. So far it has been working fine. The alarm function is also a very nice feature as you can tell when the defrost cycle runs because the freezer may go down to -5 and back up to 30 degrees before settling back to my setting of -0 degrees. I am pleased with this product and it's accuracy and convenience. Update: I had to return the original product due to a malfunctioning sensor. Amazon replaced the item within a couple of days and the new product is working excellently. If you have a malfunctioning part, I highly recommend returning it and reordering it as the turn-around is much faster. Otherwise, I am still using the Alkaline batteries and have had no issues.

I needed something to monitor a freezer on my back patio. It was accidentally unplugged once and warmed up. I found this unit and I am very happy with it. The display unit is in my home office about 30 feet away thru four walls and still works well with the sensor inside the freezer. The second sensor is in the attic. The alarm works well although I would like it be a bit louder when I am elsewhere in the house. Also it would be great if there were an AC-powered backlit version, but that is secondary. I would suggest keeping the instructions someplace safe as the alarm programming steps are not completely obvious. Again, I am very happy with the unit.

For what it is it is perfect! It has 2 alarms that go into your fridge/freezers. We raise and butcher our own cattle so we have 2 chest freezers full at any time with meat. We live out a ways so sometimes the power goes out middle of the night and we don't notice until morning. Not ok when you have a freezer full of meat! What i was looking for was an alarm that would connect to my phone and alert me if the power went out in my garage. I came across this that will alert me if the temperature rises which until i find the other one will work perfectly. At least it will beep if it goes over freezing temps so i have a chance to run out and flip the braker box. I set off the alarm by putting it in my fridge which is warmer than i ever want my freezer to get and its loud enough it would alert me over night. So I'm pleased with the results so far.

Initially bought this remote freezer thermometer for a new garage freezer that did not come with a built-in alarm. This works so well we bought several more for stocking stuffers. We decided on this product because (1) it monitors two devices and (2) the wireless range is fantastic.

We bought this for our outside chest and fridge freezers. My wife stores breast milk for our baby, so we had to protect the liquid gold! The wireless sensors pick up great from my garage to the kitchen fridge where the magnetic display is kept. (about 25 ft) ***Use lithium batteries, not included. 4AA, 2AAA. *** They hold up in freezing conditions.

seems to be a great item. u MUST use LITHIUM batteries for use in freezer. they are able to work at the lower temps. to where as regular batteries can not perform at that low of temps and wont transmit from receivers to the display. its nice to be able to monitor the temps with the display on fridge by our monthly calender. so at a glance, you know all is well. which is the reason i bought this. relay went out on compressor and ruined all our food. wife wouldn't use deep freeze until i bought this. peace of mind it what this gives you. alarm is loud enough to hear from other end of house. kids left freezer side open "barely" on fridge and it alerted me when it got out of my temp range i set...great price also. will update if my view changes

I absolutely love this product. After reading the reviews, I purchased 2 AA lithium batteries for each of the sensors. I now know the exact temperatures of my fridge, freezer and home. My son can now see how he raises the temp in the fridge every time he stands there with the door wide open, taking inventory. I don't have to worry about losing all the food in my fridge or freezer, as it really does beep loudly when the temps go out of range. I highly recommend this product. Once I figured out how to set it, it's really user friendly. Keep in mind that the high/low that is displayed is not the range you set, it is the highest and lowest temps that it has read for the appliance. To see what the range is set at , simply press #1 or #2 on the main unit and the ranges that you set are displayed. I love how the main read-out unit attached to metal with very strong magnets. I have it on the front of my fridge. The price was great. The shipping was super fast. I can't remark on the life of the batteries yet, but will keep everyone on updated as time goes on. Again, I recommend this. Super gift idea!

I had my deep freeze die and was only able to save some items. Added one to my new deep freeze and a second smaller one. I would place away from the very top of the deep freeze as the temp will rise quickly when it is opened. I have the main unit on the main floor, the main deep freeze about 30 foot away and the other deep freeze in the lower level about the same distance away. Likes: Three temperatures to monitor, ambient and two remote sensors. Adjustable minimum and maximum temperatures for each zone. Uses AA batteries. My daughter had the smaller deep freeze open for a while and it triggered the alarm. I adjusted a little higher to avoid false alerts. Shows the high and low temperatures to help you adjust for each unit. Dislikes: Nothing so far.
